Modern 2 bedroom apartment with enclosed garden. Lift access from underground car park which makes this apartment suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. The communal swimming pool is unusual in the fact that it has been built in the shape of a dolphin. Around the pool is a garden area and loungers are available for the use of guests. Communal seating with chairs and shading is also available. To the apartment patio and garden area a table, chairs, loungers and sun umbrella are available for the use of guests. About the Owner

I was born in St Ives in Cornwall and now live in Derbyshire probably in a part of the country which is the furthest away from the sea! I love Spain, the people and the way of life and when I eventually retire from work would love to spend the winter months in Spain.

When buying the apartment there was a choice as to poolside, ground floor, with or without a garden. This particular apartment was chosen as it is ground floor, south facing, has its own private garden area and is situated away from the pool area so that our guests can relax.

Whilst originally I did not plan to be involved with holiday letting. Over the past few years I have welcomed some really lovely guests to both our Denia apartment and to the apartment at Cumbre del Sol which is also advertised with Owners Direct Reference number S9705 and over those years many guests have returned each year which speaks volumes.

great apartment

had a great 2 week stay, easy walking distance to shops beach ect, apartment is south facing so had sun all day in the lovely patio and garden. apartment had everything needed, home from home. would definitely return

Well located and comfortable apartment in Denia

We spent 2 weeks in this apartment with our young children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were modern and well maintained, air conditioning and washing machine especially useful for us. The pool area is not gated but has a grassy area around it for loungers, towels etc. Restaurants, beaches, supermarkets are all walkable. Bigger supermarket/hippermercado Eroski a drive away if required.

Well appointed apartment in quiet location but easily accessible to Denia and surrounding areas

We visited the area and stayed in this property in November which meant is was quiet. The weather was excellent so the on site communal pool and nearby beach were welcome! The centre of Denia is a 2 min drive or 10 minute walk away so the apartment is in a great location. A large supermarket is also close by. The apartment itself had everything we needed and secure parking underneath the apartment block was very welcome.

All the arrangements for booking the apartment, directions for getting there and meeting our contact to arrange access to the car park and apartment itself were very straightforward.

Location

From the Owner

The apartment itself is modern with onsite facilities including a gym, sauna, children's play area, communal gardens and pool, The location of the apartment means that it is within walkable distance of all amenities, restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. In addition the port where there are day trips both up and down the coast and a ferry to Ibiza. Likewise the train station and bus depot are local.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 95 Kilometres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

The location of our apartment is good for guests who are interested in walking especially to the beach, golf, cycling, shopping, boat trips including being able to take the ferry across to Ibiza.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful beach is within 5 minutes walkable distance (on the flat). In the summer a beach bar is available which serves snacks and all year round a restaurant is situated beside the beach serving a full range of food to suit all tastes.

Travel:

This apartment can be accessed by using either Alicante or Valencia Airport either airport is approximately an hour and a quarter driving distance.

Public transport can be used from the airport. We are flexible on arrival days which assists when seeking the cheaper flights. Currently we offer our guests the opportunity during out of season October 2015 to June 2016 and October 2016 to June 2017 to stay up to 10 nights for the price of 7 and recommend using flightchecker to find the cheaper flight deals.

Distances:

Javea, Moraira and Calpe are within a short driving distance of this apartment. Train and bus links are good and Benidorm can also be accessed by using public transport. It is possible to visit Ibiza using the regular ferry service.

Further Details:

Denia has numerous shops, bars, restaurants, banks and a regular evening market selling a range of unusual jewellery and clothes amongst other items. From Denia it is possible to travel by car or public transport to places of interest. For those wishing to go to Benidorm a large weekly market is held on Wednesdays and Sundays and the beach and numerous restaurants are well worth visiting.

A non returnable 25% deposit is required at time of booking balance due 10 weeks before arrival date. A £150 Refundable breakages/damages deposit, returned within 21 days providing, the keys have been returned and no damage/losses have occurred.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover days in order for our guests to take advantage of the lower cost flights. (We also provide 10 day out of season holiday letting at discounted rates). The apartment is accessible from either Alicante or Valencia airports.

Notes on prices:
We are able to accept most major credit cards. September 2016 until June 2017 up to ten nights for £299 per apartment. During the same period stay for four weeks for £699. The same terms apply from September 2017 through to June 2018. Quoted prices are for the apartment per week. Discounts are available for long term winter lets.

Whereby cancellation of a guests holiday is necessary. The owner of the apartment will endeavour to source alternative accommodation. Whereby this is not possible or agreed by the guest the full amount paid by the guest will be reimbursed immediately and in addition a 5% compensation payment added to the returned payment
