This beautiful privately owned 3-bedroom villa provides luxury self-catering accommodation, private heated pool, and is right in the heart of the Golf Del Sur complex. Situated at the Las Adelfas1 resort. The Villa is set in a quiet location with easy access to the communal pool restaurant and English pub and supermarket. With its own walled patio area, you can enjoy a meal, cooked on the barbecue around the garden table or relax on one of the sun beds provided around our private pool area. The front of the property is approached by a quite road, which also provides parking in front of the villa with easy access for families with small children or for wheelchair users. The accommodation comprises of the master double en-suite bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a second double bedroom and a further twin bedroom with bunk beds, there is also the option of a fold up bed. The main bathroom is fitted with a separate shower, sink and wc.
This villa is a privately owned property, so you can be assured of that homely personal feel. We only have two villas, both in Tenerife and the other one we stay in ourselves..
Martin Croston purchased this villa in 2007
Lovely quiet location. Also ideal for golfers.
All amenieties are within walking distance, the area is totally flat which is ideal for wheelchair users.
Rest and relaxation with beautiful weather all year.
The villa has internet access and air conditioning throughout.
It is a private villa with total seclusion on the terrace and pool.
This villa is a lovely home from home property with a great pool and garden area out back to lounge, eat and just chill.
We however found numerous little frustrating issues which individually would've gone unnoticed, but collectively we're a little annoying.
There wasn't a single (multiple) light fitting in the villa that didn't have at least one bulb not working. There were a few spares in the kitchen drawer, but these were used just to brighten the kitchen. One bulb in the main bathroom actually exploded on our last night there.
The grill pan for the cooker had no wire rack to put in it, so we had to cook burgers etc on the normal oven shelf rack and use the pan underneath to catch the fat, but made it awkward to stop the fat dropping onto the open oven door when pulling the rack out to check/turn the food.
The air conditioning unit in the main bedroom didn't work. We reported this on the first day and it still wasn't fixed by the end of our 2 week holiday. On some of the warmer nights I ended up sleeping on the sofa as it was too warm for me in the bedroom. We just kept getting told that the part had been ordered, but due to the Spanish way and fiestas etc they hadn't received the part.
The shower door in the en-suite leaked at the bottom, so we were having to use towels in addition to the bathroom mat to stop the bathroom floor getting soaked.
Although we understand the villa is a self catering let, it might have been nice to have had at least some toilet rolls provided and maybe a couple bottles of water in the fridge may have been a nice touch. We had made it clear we would be arriving g late on our night of arrival, so we were caught a little short and I ended up having to drive about to find a garage open which could give us a few essentials u too morning.
The area is very nice and quiet with lots of good restaurants and a few good bars.
There was no parks for the kids within walking distance which we could find and only found a small park up in the San Blas complex about 1.5 miles away into our 2nd week.
Overall we had a lovely holiday and believe that the villa is a great place, but it could be so much more with a little additional tlc and added touches for people arriving, especially if late at night with limited shop options.
We arrived very late at night but from he great information we were given, we found the villa with no problem. The villa was very clean and welcoming. Myself, my husband and two boy 10 & 8, had a fantastic time, the villa pool was wonderful and the complex pool just outside the gate at the back was a lovely change if wanted, we did pop there two or three times just to meet others. There is a brilliant Irish bar with lovely helpful bar staff and yummy menu around the corner, and a supermarket across the road, a short taxi journey/walk to more restaurants and shops. The villa provided us with everything we could wish for and more! we are looking forward to booking again for next year.
Home from home experience in this villa. My partner and 3 children aged 13,10,10 stayed here for a week and did not want to leave. Owner was easy to communicate with whilst booking. The villa was really easy to find when we were dropped off in a taxi. We were shocked at the size of the villa upon arrival as photos don't do it any justice....it is really big and homely. It has everything you will need and more...even down to insect repellent and sun cream. TV has English instructions in a file with all information about the location of the villa. There is a hi-fi right next to the patio doors which was great for us to play music whilst outside (we took a memory stick with lots of music on and that worked brilliantly).Washing machine was easy to use and a bonus as I managed to wash all clothes before we came home which was a big help. There is a dishwasher but we didn't use that.
Towels and bedding were lovely and the villa was very clean. The pool was perfect for us and the temperature was just right. The pool was also cleaned the day before we came home. The whole outdoor area faces the sunshine all day. There is some aircraft noise as it is quite close to the airport and aeroplanes fly directly over the villa...we enjoyed watching them so that wasn't a problem at all. There is plenty of seating areas outside and the sun loungers are really comfortable, you can see the furniture throughout the villa is quality. Both double rooms have air conditioning as well as the living room. All 3 bedrooms have a TV...not that we used them as it was a holiday for us to spend time as a family. Small bedroom was ideal for our boys who took turns on top bunk. There are 2 camp beds,a travel cot and a lot of spare, clean bedding and pillows.
It was a quiet time of year that we went (Easter holidays) so the resort was quiet too which is just what we wanted. We used the key in the villa to access the communal pool once or twice and has the whole pool and loungers to ourselves, this was nice but we would have been happy with just the private pool, this was just an added bonus.
There is an Irish bar about a minute walk which serves lovely food and staff are all lovely and friendly. A supermarket is just over the road from that. The location of this villa is perfect if you are a family or 2 couples wanting a relaxing break away.
We have been in touch with the owner to book up for next year.
On initial arrival everything seemed ok, but we soon noticed many maintenance issues! Broken toilet flush, shower head not easily adjustable & held together with hair bungee, ceiling fan light hanging precariously & other lights not working. Unsafe shelves in the lounge & a burnt router from an overheating uplight.
Linens & towels were clean & smelt lovely, but old & tired. Beds were not fully made up either. The double bed only had 2 pillow cases for the 4 pillows provided and the metal bed head was not even fixed on. The bunk bed only had linen on the bottom bunk.
There was an information folder provided, but it did not contain much information. Appliances had no instructions except for the TV which was hand written. We could not work the microwave & it was pot luck if the dishes were clean, as cycles were not clear. Oven & washing machine were both easy to operate.
The Pool - do not book this Villa solely on the basis that it has a pool. You could not see the Dolphin in the picture, the pool had turned GREEN. We called the pool man, who came, but he could get cleaning supplies till after the weekend, by which time it had larvae living in it!
The communal pool is beautiful but not heated, my kids lasted 20 mins. You also need a key to obtain entrance, which we did not know & only found out by chance.
I contacted the owner on holiday, with little response and since I have returned with none, not even an apology!
With all this said, we are hoping to return to the RESORT in October but NOT this Villa.
Myself and my wife stayed at this villa with our two young children in November 2014, I have got to say it was the best holiday we have ever had, the villa was everything stated in the advert and more, the photos did not do it justice, it was so relaxing and the kids had plenty to do, we loved it so much we have booked it again for 2 weeks in November and also booked the owners other villa in Las Americas for my Mum as a suprise.
