25 miles to the coastal beaches of St. Maxime. Beaches of St. Tropez, Port Grimaud and Cannes easily reached. Visit local vineyards and traditional villages of Lorgues, Tourtour(village in the sky), Villecroze & Salernes.

About 25 miles to watersports in Lac St. Cassien & Gorge du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon).

Activities in the area include tennis, boating, kayaking, cycling, horse riding, walking in addition to visiting the many traditional vineyards and villages of provence. Trekking in the area also includes the wonderful Sentier de Saint Martel path into the French equivelant of the Grand Canyon, the Gorge de Verdon.

We had an amazing stay at Villa L’ensoleillade. We stayed in the middle of May. The weather made it possible to swim everyday in the beautiful pool, that looked down into the valley. Special interest holidays:

Less than an hour from Grand Canyon du Verdon where the Verdon river has created a series of gorges, and flows south into the Lac de Ste-Croix. For the daring, there is rock climbing, whitewater rafting and hiking in the area. Electric boats and windsurfing boards can be hired here.

Not too far away in Avignon is the Palais des Papes (the magnificent Papal Palace).

Aix en Provence - with fascinating museums and historic buildings - great shops too!!

Monaco Grand Prix in May or casinos of Monte Carlo - take the train from Draguignan-Les Arcs station and visit for a day - the Riviera's most dazzling example of 19th century grandeur.

Lots of great vineyards to visit.

Cannes Film Festival in May.

The 12th century Cistercian abbey, Abbaye du Thoronet in Le Thoronet is about 20 minutes from the Villa.

Tourtour village - 40 minutes from the Villa with great restaurants - Le Table visited by Gordon Ramsey - wonderful food. Tourtour sits 600m up above sea level surrounded by a pine forest full of atmospheric medieval buildings and old stone streets.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest coastal point is at St.Maxime - 41Km. /~45 minutes by car. St.Tropez and Port Grimaud are about 50 minutes drive (depending on the time of year). There are lots of beautiful beaches along the Cote D'Azur with restaurants serving delicious fresh fish and other equally tasty food.

Near St. Tropez is Pampelonne beach (3 miles long). There are also great beaches at St. Aygulf and St. Raphael.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Nice and just a little bit further in opposite direction is Marseille Airport. Approx travelling time is 1hr.20 minutes. Junction 36 is the exit off the main autoroute (motorway A8).The nearby (13km) village of Les Arcs has a railway station with frequent services to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Toulon and Marseille. It also hosts a TGV stop with express services north to Paris.

For touring locally a car is recommended.

Distances:

The lively vibrant village of Flayosc is about 5 minutes drive from the Villa. The provincial town of Lorgues is 15 mns off.

There is also a very pleasant 25 min walk into the village partly through forest and olive groves.

Nearest coast point - St. Maxime - approx 45 minutes. (40km) Nice (96km) Draguignan (6km) is the nearest town with a full range of supermarkets, shops including bicycle hire, museums and a theatre.

Further Details:

Lorgues is one of the largest provencal towns. Flayosc is one of the best stocked small Provencal villages in the region. Local shops include 3 bakers/boulangerie, a fishmongers, a butcher, delicatessen, 2 general stores and several excellent restaurants. There is a wine shop in the village, several gift shops, newspaper shop, bars, florists, chemists shop. There is a large shoe store also in the village also selling leather good (handbags, suitcases). In addition to the Provencal restaurants there is also a pizza delivery outlet and a Chinese restaurant.

Notes on accommodation: The house and garden are very private and not overlooked; situated in a very safe and friendly area. On the outside terrace there are two large tables, each seating 8 people, providing a wonderful area for having breakfast/lunch/dinner with spectacular views over the valley, the garden and newly built swimming pool which also has its own terrace. Normal pool furniture is provided together with parasols. The house is accessed by electric gates and private driveway with secure ample parking. The house has been recently redecorated. Outside: The private swimming pool is 12 x 5 metres is heated May-Sep.; Apr & Oct. are dependent on weather - supplement may be required.The pool is equipped with electric safety cover for maximum safety for those guests with children. Outside barbecue is available. The stunning expansive garden with ancient olive trees and orchard is a home for local wildlife. The house is situated on the edge of a Green Zone overlooking wooded valley, the ancient hamlet of Sauve-Clare and in the distance the coastal mountains of the Maures. The garden is maintained on organic lines with no fertilizers or pesticides. Stacks of privacy and yet not remote as it is only 5 minutes drive from the village. The garden of over 10 acres is laid out to an olive grove to the front of the house and ancient olive terraces and orchard down into the valley at the rear of the house. Bicycles are provided for exploring the area via the many paths and tracks leading from the house. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, extra diswwasher, ironing board, iron and cleaning materials. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are included in the price together with pool towels. Bed linen is changed every week for stays of two weeks or more during the summer. Other: Second living room can be used at children's play room and has sofa bed which sleeps 2. This room opens on to terrace which has wonderful views over the valley and where you can sit out for your breakfast.

Fantastic relaxing break as last year!

Everything as we remembered from last year and wonderful weather. The villa is superb with a view to die for! There are so few villages that have the facilities of Flayosc and all in walking distance. The villa has everything you need for a family holiday or a large group of friends. We are so sad to leave and will be back next year. Thank you Judith and Keith for looking after us and thanks Dara for the loan of your little piece of paradise.

Luxuriously homely property with entrancing views and a variety of private garden-nooks to chill out

The house oozes charm, offers both privacy and spacious common spaces, is very well equipped, conveniently located despite its country lane approach and looks out onto endless HD widescreen views.

The heated pool in early May was inviting and delightful. The gardens are charming with lots of places to sit relax and take in a different view.

The owner was highly communicative, welcoming , and informative replying immediately to any pre- booking queries. Likewise the local manager was warm and practically supportive.

Wholeheartedly recommended. Our group of four had a really re-energizing holiday in a very special house/ location. Many thanks!

A fantastic villa in a beautiful location

We have stayed in many villas in the Flayosc area over the years and this is up there with, if not the best. The photos do not do the villa justice, as the place is huge with a magnificent open plan lounge and kitchen. All living areas and bedrooms have air conditioning which is great on those hot August days. The pool and view from it are to die for. The villa is peaceful and secluded yet within a short bike ride away from both Flayosc and Lorgue. The booking process was very simple and efficient. On arrival we were greeted by Judith and Keith who made us feel very welcome. They had the fridge stocked with milk and chilled wine along with a huge bowl of fruit. We were reassured that they were only a phone call away should we have any problems or questions. All in all a first class villa with a first class service. We have already booked again for 2017.

Fabulously well equipped property in the most beautiful location, with wonderful views. Great pool. Love the pétanque court. So nice to have a wonderfully peaceful property within walking distance of a great little town.

I would recommend this property to anyone.

Fantastic villa for a group

We were in a group of 12 who stayed for a week in August. The setting was amazing, fantastic panoramic views, worth going for the night sky. The villa, set in large grounds, was very spacious and well presented. Excellent swimming pool and plenty of seating areas to relax/eat outside. There's plenty to do nearby, and I'd also recommend the walk into Flayosc.

Fantastic villa with stunning views in the heart of provence

We stayed for a week in June with the family. The villa is 5 minutes drive from the beautiful village of Flayosc and 20 minutes from larger villages such as Lorgues.. The villa is set on its own with magnificent views of the hillside and enjoys great sunsets. The villa has been modernised and is in very good shape internally with comfortable beds and linen. The pool is also very large and one of the centrepieces for the whole villa. We would definitely come again,

Booking Notes:
rates quoted are for 6-10 adults sharing in July & August.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book the Villa. The balance should be received 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A refundable security deposit is also required (to be paid with your final balance).
The deposit can be paid in pounds sterling or euros and the final balance should be in euros at the conversion rate at the time of booking.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday but out of season (end Sept. - May) this can be flexible. Arrival time - after 4 pm and before 9 pm. Departure time: by 10.00 am. to allow preparation for incoming guests.

Notes on prices:
July-August prices include for a maximum of 10 persons.
June & Sept. include for a maximum of 6 persons.
Mar, Apr, May, Oct. onwards. includes for a maximum of 4 persons.
Supplement required for any additional persons.
Supplement of €50-€100 may be required to heat pool in April & October - depending on the temperature and weather.
