About the Owner
We are Tracy and Hugh Grundy and absolutely adore our apartment in Na Macaret, we had our silver wedding anniversary in 2008 and bought each other this lovely place by the sea. We have loved our time here so much that we have now moved to the island permanently in May 2012, we have many friends and family who live here too on this beautiful idyllic island. Having such wonderful weather is glorious so much more time to enjoy our wonderful apartment by the sea.

Hi Tracy - Very sad to be back home after a wonderful 10 days at your lovely apartment. What a spot - very jealous indeed.
Loved the views out to sea as you described and really enjoyed snorkelling off the rocks out front. Water temperature was 26C! All very lovely. Jan and Geof
Hi Tracy - A quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your apartment last week. We loved the rustic charm of the place, the lovely local people and the view from the balcony was just as described. It was definitely our type of place away from the madding crowds of holiday brits.
Thanks for all the information, the maps made travel very straightforward and the whole holiday was wonderfully relaxing from start to finish. Only wish we had booked a second week. Paul - Warrington
Hi Tracy, we absolutely loved your house, I dont think I've ever been anywhere on holdiday that I jumped out of bed every morning as soon as I woke up and felt cross if I slept too late. Just couldn't wait to make tea and go and sit outside. My husband is a terrible fidget but even he was happy to just sit for once - it was lovely - thank you. Jane, Crosley Green

Wonderful solution for peaceful weekend
We spend 4 wonderful days at Tracy's "little paradise". The house is really cute, well furnished, clean, fresh and with a stunning sea view! Na Macaret is really nice, very peaceful and with a wonderful little beach sorrounded by little private house in a familiar atmosphere. All services are reachable easily by car or motorbike and there are some great walk that start just in front of the house. We fall in love with this place, and with Minorca too!
A little bit of heaven!
Thankyou both for sharing your beautiful villa/house with us. Everything was there to make our stay comfortable.....all kitchen utensils...great size of fridge freezer... even had toys for our little one. The property was spotless and our linens towels were changed weekly. Tracy was a phone all away and was there on arrival to welcome us... The views are breathtaking. Such a relaxing perfect holiday. I would recommend a car ...there's no shop in na maracet....about 15min walk.. Car great to explore the island it's so pretty and with children car was good to visit beaches and waterparks....yet we always loved returning to the tranquility of les roches. We hope to return next year!! Thankyou both for being on hand and making our holiday just wonderful.
Everything we needed and more
If you are looking for a quiet setting, superb views, clean and well furnished property in a lovely traditional village then this is the place for you. Shops and activities within a very short drive and a great central position on the island. Hugh and Tracey could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommended and we hope to go back soon. Just avoid the overpriced tapas in the cafe!
Charming seaside apartment
Just returned from a stay in the wonderful apartment in Na Macaret. We felt so much at home as soon as we walked in. We were met by the charming owners who helped us settle in and told us about things to do. The amenities are perfect and the view is breathtaking. We are definitely going back again....soon.
A late summer treat
A lovely clean well equipped property all as described. Just a few minutes walk from pretty unspoilt fishing village of Na Macaret.
Breathtaking views from terrace across the bay. We did eat out in the village (very good), but preferred to stay in and enjoy the peace and the view. What a treat to sit and watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean every morning. We found it hard to drag ourselves away to explore the island. For us it was perfect.
Les Roches, Na Macaret
What a charming little rustic house! Ideally situated for the beach and restaurants. We found the accommodation clean, spotless and well equipped for our stay; very comfortable. The view from the terrace was pure heaven, watching the boats tooing and froing, chilling with a couple of drinks, we knew we had found the perfect accommodation for our short stay on the island.
Just a 5 minute stroll to the pretty beach which was not too crowded considering it was in the middle of the holiday season. The two local restaurants were welcoming with reasonably priced and varied menus, especially the tapas. The local bar, Es Raco, stocked basics ie eggs, milk etc which was a bonus.
Many thanks to Hugh and Tracy for welcoming us upon our arrival. It was really appreciated.
Would definitely recommend to friends who are looking for a chilled and relaxing holiday.
Look forward to returning.
From the Owner
“There is nothing nicer in the world than sitting on our terrace with a beverage of sorts watching the waves and all kinds of beautiful boats coming and going. On the island opposite there can often be seen cattle and sheep grazing, it is absolutely idyllic, we've spent many a long hour enjoying this. We often take the small stroll to the beach 5 mins away with various restaurants/bars and watch the Spanish community going about their day to day business. The beach is very safe and beautiful, with a feeling of total serenity. At night sitting on the terrace watching the wonderful starlite night is glorious and we've seen many shooting stars which is amazing. To us there IS no more wonderful place on the earth.”

“When the patio doors are fully open the lounge extends out onto the very large top terrace, to us there is no lovelier place in the world and we want 'everybody' who goes there to experience this too. A swim off the steps from the rocks at the end of the bottom terrace is fantastic.”
