This modern apartment in Les Jardins d'Antibes provides luxury accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The large balcony overlooks the sea and the nearest beach is just a short stroll away. A scenic 25 minute walk along the seafront passing Fort Carre and the yachts of Port Vauban brings you to the centre of the medieval old town of Antibes, or hop on the local bus which passes outside the apartment. Antibes offers visitors a host of activities including water sports, tennis, thalassotherapy, theme parks, museums, restaurants, shops and cafes. The old town is famous for the Picasso museum and it's daily Provencal market. Nearby Juan Les Pins is popular for it's vibrant nightlife and long sandy beaches where you can book boat trips to St. Tropez and the nearby islands. There are numerous beaches and scenic walks along the 25km of coastline that surround Antibes, Cap d'Antibes and Juan Les Pins. This is the ideal location from which to explore the Riviera and inland Provence.

The apartment has everything you would need and is extremely well-equipped, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. This is an absolutely beautiful part of France - so much to see and do. Liz, Banbridge, N. Ireland.



Fantastic! It is very difficult to imagine a better view from the apartment. Beach is within walking distance and all necessary shops and markets are close by. Sergey, St. Petersburg, Russia.



Antibes is beautiful and the apartment was great too. In particular we loved the big terrace with the sea view and spent a few evenings there sipping wine and watching boats and the lights of Fort Carre. Eija, Helsinki, Finland.



Delighted with the apartment - modern, comfortable, spotlessly clean and all the facilities you would hope for. Maria, Ireland.



We enjoyed day trips to St. Tropez, Cannes, Grasse and Monaco, all accessible from the apartment. Hugh, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Location

Coast/Beach:

There are a total of 48 beaches along the 25km of coastline that surrounds Antibes and Juan Les Pins including Fort Carre beach (adjacent to the apartment) La Gravette (Old Antibes), Salais (Antibes), La Gourope beach (Cap d'Antibes) and Plage d'Antibes-les Pins (Juan Le Pins). All the Antibes beaches are within walking distance of the apartment and you can also avail of a free bus service (no. 16) to the centre of Antibes. The beaches of Cap d'Antibes and Juan Les Pins are a 10 mins drive away.

Travel:

Nice Airport is only a 20 minute drive from the apartment. Car hire is readily available at the airport. Bus 250 runs from the airport and stops near the apartment and takes approx. 40 minutes, taxi to or from the airport costs around 60 euros or an airport pick-up can be arranged for 45 euros. Antibes train station is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the apartment.

Distances:

The centre of Old Antibes is a 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes by car or bus. Juan Les Pins is a 10 minute drive, Cannes 15 minutes, Nice 20 minutes, Monaco 30 minutes, Italian border 30 minutes. Boat trips are available from Juan Les Pins to St. Tropez and the nearby islands and ferries run from Nice to Corsica. Local and inter-city trains run regularly from Antibes train station.

Further Details:

There is a local shopping area (La Fontanne) just a 10 minute walk from the apartment with supermarket, bakeries, newsagents, fruit and vegetable shops, bank etc.

Great apartment

The apartment is better than the photos suggest. It is bright and airy with good views albeit obstructed. It was perfect for the two of us. The communal areas are very clean and impressive. The pool is good but little shade and no sun beds so not somewhere to spent an afternoon unless you take your own kit.

Lovely apartment, perfect for exploring Antibes

I travelled to Antibes with my 2 children (ages 5 and 8) and couldn’t have had an easier or nicer holiday with them. I was slightly apprehensive about travelling alone with them for the first time but the owner (Sean) was very helpful and gave me lots of information before I went, and their local representative Cyril was equally as helpful. He also offers an airport transfer service which made it door to door.

The apartment is great – it has a lovely balcony which gets the morning sun so you can eat there and plan your day, and the apartment has all the equipment you need – and plenty of cleaning products as well to make it easy to look after. The sofa bed is very comfortable in the living room and there is good enough wi-fi to be able to watch Netflix in the evening, there is also sky tv and a few DVDs. The swimming pool isn’t heated, which didn’t deter my kids, although was a bit cold for me in late May! There were a few people at the pool each time we went but generally it was fairly empty. There is a main pool and also shallow ‘paddling’ end as well which makes it very safe.

Although you are a little way out of Antibes town there is a great supermarket and patisserie less than a 10 min walk away as well as a take away pizza place which is great. In the other direction there is the area of la Fontonne (again about a 10 min walk) which has more shops, a bank and places to eat (as well as tunnel access under the railway to the closest stony beach to the apartment, and the walk along the beach, past Fort Carre and the marinas and in to town) – so there is no problem about being a little bit out of the town and it means the evenings are nice and quiet.

There is a bus (no. 16 Environ bus – timetable online) which costs 1 euro and goes from just outside the apartment in to Antibes – it runs about twice an hour and you need to be outside a bit before the scheduled time to make sure you don’t miss it but it takes you right in to the centre of Antibes where you are then a max 10 min walk to the 2 main beaches.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment or a trip to Antibes, I am pretty sure we will return.

Great apartment in excellent location

We spent a week in this lovely apartment which is like a home from home except more stylish, modern and clean! Antibes is a very pretty town with a lovely old walled town and fantastic harbour. We intended to use the train to get about but the No 200 bus which goes from Nice to Cannes at a maximum cost of €1-50 passed at top if road so we ended up using it to go to Nice and Cannes. One day we got the bus to Golfe Juan and walked back along the beach to Juan les pins and then on to the apartment (approx 4 miles). Lots of lovely restaurants in Antibes but a special mention for Restaurant Wiame (Moroccan) where we had a delicious meal. Would recommend an ebike riviera tour in Nice with the lovely Vincent. We will definitely return to spend some more time on that balcony watching the planes, trains and yachts pass by. Highly recommend the apartment.

Excellent location for a perfect holiday

My wife and I and our 8 year old daughter stayed in this apartment in August 2014.

It was perfect!

Firstly, the apartment itself is clean and comfortable and has everything that you could possibly want. TV, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen, large private balcony with stunning view. The apartment complex has nice gardens and the swimming pool is clean, well managed and quite large.

The apartment is ideally located for a variety of activities and excursions across the Cote D'azur. Bus stops within walking distance have services to Antibes, Cannes, Nice and other destinations and Antibes train station is within easy reach (by bus or 15 minute walk).

There are various shops (mini-market, bakery, pharmacy, fruit and veg, etc.) within walking distance and it is possible to reach larger shops via bus.

We did not hire a car and were still able to get every where we wanted to (Cannes, Nice, Marineland, St Paul de Vence, etc.) by bus.

The local manager for the apartment was extremely helpful when we had any additional requirements.

Our experience was entirely positive and we will definitely use this apartment again.
