Our villa is ideally situated just 5 minutes stroll from the centre of the popular Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo. Here you can find an abundance of bars and restaurants, both Spanish, English and indeed Irish to cater for all tastes. The ports of Benalmadena and Fuengirola are only a 5 minute drive away from the villa where plenty of nightlife and entertainment can be found. It's a short drive up to the sleepy village of Mijas if you prefer a more tranquil setting. We have a fully stocked kitchen featuring a washing machine, fridge and all appliances to keep you happy while on holiday! The villa also has air-conditioning. The pool area has amongst the best views in the village. The pool area also has a selection of loungers to relax and take in the rays. The outside patio is also fully furnished and dining alfresco with the Med in full view is an experience to die for. The gardens to the rear are fully stocked with orange and lemon trees which guests are free to sample.

Heated Pool option (Additional Cost ). Few Villas in Spain Have this. Most villas require a car this is not the case with our villa. The views are to die for. Free Lemons and oranges from our own trees at most times of year.

Notes on accommodation: We have tried to include everything to make your stay easy for all ages, but if you have any special requests or need then please email to ask. We have a management team on site to assist you with any requests such airports pick ups etc. Outside: The property is situated on a large plot (over 1,000 sqft) which enjoys a generously sized private pool and surrounding Terrace. The rear of the property has a garden with lemon and orange trees. Guests are at liberty to eat the fruit in season. I particularly recommend the fresh lemons with a San Miguel. We also have a brick built outside barbecue and generous outside furnishings to allow you to fully enjoy the Spanish sunshine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included. There is an optional maid service which can be organised and paid for locally. Please note that guests should bring their own beach towels. Other: We have a separate area for hanging out laundry and mature plants to the front and sides of the pool.

Brilliant.

My sisters & friend had a lovely time at the villa. The pool and views were great inside was very well equipped & very comfortable. Overall a delightful place to stay will definitely go again.

Nice villa and location with heated pool, which is really a cool thing to have

It is pretty ok/ nice villa in a reasonably good location where you could reach restaurants on foot. Also a good thing is a heated pool, which makes possible to swim even off the season. I stayed several times before in other villas in nearby surroundings and I understand that a heated pool is not so common thing to have in costa del sol, thus this factor alone makes this villa attractive.

However, we experienced also some negative things which let us down a bit. Firstly, the person responsible for our arrangements was travelling and even though some replacement was areang d and we were let into the villa, hiwever certain things were not properly arranged: (a) the heating of he pool was not properly turned on which made impossible to swim for the first 3 days. Also it seemed that the pool was not cleaned properly before our arrival, (b) the baby cot did not have a mattress and it was delivered to us only on our 5 day of stay. Secondly, internet connection is rather slow. In current world you would expect to have faster connection. I was not able to make proper video calls or watch tv streamed online. One day was some internet interruption but it was resolved relatively quickly. Thirdly, it was really strange, some basic supplies were missing which we could not find: no vacuum cleaner or any broom which made impossible to clean the villa which in two weeks is a necessity as nobody cleaned villa during our stay. Also we would normally expect to find some hand soap, paper towels abd other necessities.

To sum up, it rather good abd nice property in a good location but for the price you pay you would noramlly expect a flawless service but this was not the case.

View wonderful, accommodation great, but demolition/building site next door was intolerable.

The property was more than adequate for my family's needs.Besides a fly infestation when we first arrived which needed pest control treatment, the heating in the pool cut out a couple of times and needed repairing and algae in the swimming pool we coped reasonably.The main problem was a building site next door! For all of our stay the noise and clouds of thick dust from first thing until early evening. It was almost impossible to eat outside .In consequence three of our family are seriously suffering with respiratory problems .So all in all what should have been a wonderful holiday experience turned into a bit of a nightmare.The local agent was told about the building site which was impossible to miss and had been going for some time before our arrival. He seemed unable to deal with the issue,although the smaller problems of flies and heating in the pool were addressed promptly. His comment about our problem was that he was only a phone call away but we had already asked him to deal with the building site situation and nothing had improved. In this country it is illegal to drill off rendering, or through walls and girders etc etc without water to ensure the clouds of dust do not occur and are not inhaled. It is common practise with hotels these days to forewarn customers about building happening in close proximity to the holiday accommodation. Surely this should also be a requirement for villa/ apartment owners to do the same especially since it has such a huge impact upon the holiday itself. Constant noise of drills, cement mixers, hammers etc aside, the biggest issue has been and continues to be one of health through the inhalation of clouds of dust. We paid the top price for this accommodation, had no notice at any time that it was next door to a building site and have returned home in a poor state. This really needs to be addressed as I would not want any other holiday makers to think that they were going to have a fabulous holiday , and then be faced with what we were. I do think its possible we were there at the worst time for pollution and noise. Had we been forewarned we would certainly have chosen another villa. This is an issue that needs dealing with promptly.

Owner's Response: Hi Sarah In response to your review, firstly although I already know from communication with your husband the issues with regard noise and dust from the next door property what was never mentioned by your husband was any issue with regard the pool or fly’s. I have since spoken to our local agent who has confirm that they was an issue with fly’s which was rectified and also that the pool heater had tripped, my understanding was he was there within 2 hours to sort the heater, my understanding is this only happened once. He has advised that whilst you mentioned Algae on the phone there was no evidence when he called to sort the heater. There was no further mention of this. These issues are within our control and apologies however as you will appreciate things will trip or break and it is how these are fixed is what counts. I hope you would agree that these were rectified quickly and effectively. This bring me to the main issue, the noise and dust from next door. I cannot agree with you more and I myself would not be happy with this disruption. The issue I have is that this is totally out of my control and whilst I contacted the owner whilst you were there and received assurances that this would be kept to a minimal this was obviously not the case. The property Next door was sold this summer and the new owners have been doing a lot of work, we were not aware of this and work involved at time of booking or indeed the extent of work until it was happening. When we were aware of the work this was monitored and we had be assured that the heavy work had been completed, I also asked tenants prior to yourselves who had advised there was not an issue, as you will see from reviews end September and beginning of October. As you will be aware I have been in communication with your husband in order to try and assist, his last comments were “So incredibly kind of you to offer an unlimited time offer too” I have also spoken to owner next door and have been advised all work will be completed by the end of this year 2017, whilst this is no consolation I hope you will agree that this was beyond our control. Amazing villa with views to die for!!

We have recently returned from our stay at this beautiful villa In Benalmadena Pueblo and we had a wonderful time. The villa is all it says in the description. It is very spacious, light and airy, immaculate and the furnishings are lovely. The views are to die for!! The pool is great. The village is a delight and is just a short walk from the villa. There are lots of excellent restaurants in the village. We had 2 favorites this year - La Fuente in the Square and La Pala D'Oro. Although, to be honest, we have never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants.

There is a bus stop just in front of the villa which takes you up the mountain to Mijas Pueblo which is really beautiful or you can travel down to the coastal resorts in no time at all.

I would highly recommend this villa and would like to thank Stewart for the great service and support before we went and the staff he has on site who attend to every need if necessary. Can't wait to visit again!!!

Lovely villa. Great location.

Our first villa holiday, travelling as a party of 8, ages from 7 to 70+. The villa and pool were lovely and clean. Location wise it was within 1/2 mile of a supermarket, 3/4 mile from Pueblo village centre. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the street which takes you into Benalmadena or up to Mijas. Stewart the owner was very helpful, and happy to answer any queries regarding our holiday.

Coast/Beach:

The easiest way to get to the beach is by the bus or in the car. We have an easy bus route that takes you from right outside the villa down to the markets, Tivoli world, beaches or port in around 10 minutes. The award winning beaches in both Benalmadena and Fuengirola are also a 5-10 minute drive. Our favourite is Playa Bonita Beach which is a gently shelving beach great for the kids.

Travel:

Nearest airport is Malaga, which is around 15 minutes away from the villa. We can recommend a company for collection and returns to and from the airport. Please note that a huge advantage of the villa's location is the fact that a car is not essential due to the proximity of the village and the availability of taxis and buses further a field

Distances:

2 minute walk to Benalmadena Pueblo. 5 minute drive to beach. 5 minute drive to ports. 25 minutes to Marbella/Puerto Banus. 10 minute drive to Mijas. Regular markets on various days.

Further Details:

In close proximity to the villa we have a Carrefour Express, Mercadona and a Lidl. A 10 minute drive away is the large Myramar Centre in Fuengirola where you will find the Eroski Hypermarket, also an 'English' Iceland close by and plenty of clothes and shoe shops, Zara, Mango etc.
