About John

I am a self employed electrician working in and around West Sussex. The apartment was bought predominantly with our 6 year old twins in mind.

It is perfect for children. Being on the ground floor we can watch them play outside from our window. The apartment block is at the end of the road so there is no through traffic.

John purchased this apartment in 2008

Why John chose Les Deux Alpes

We bought the Apartment when the building had just been newly converted from a hotel into apartments. Having been skiing many times before one of our top priorities was not to have to trudge round the town in ski boots, carrying skis etc. We are within 500 metres of an 8 man chairlift ''le diable'' which we can ski down to, then at the end of the day ski to our back door.

At a similar distance there are shops, pubs, restaurants and a supermarket.

There is a lovely toboggan run adjacent to the building which in the summer months becomes a golf course.

"We (4 adults and 3 children) stayed at the apartment over New Year 2009/2010 and had a fabulous time. Le Janremon is in a quiet location with beautiful views, yet right next to the Diable lift and an easy walk across the bottom of the nursery slopes to the ski school meeting points and the main Jandri Express lift. The sledging hill right next to the apartment was a bonus for the kids, as was being on the ground floor for easy access. The apartment is well-equipped, feels spacious and we were never short of hot water or heating. The managing agents and key holders were extremely helpful. In our view, you would be hard-pressed to find a better apartment in Les2Alpes – which is why we have booked again for 2010/2011!"

Well situated, well equiped, spacious, good value

The apartment is only a few metres walk from the Diable lift. It has its own ski locker and garage. It was well equipped for those wanting to self cater as we did .Brilliant to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Strong shower with lots of water and bath to soak in. Its spacious for a French apartment (we were a group of 6). The owner was great to deal with and I would recommend the apartment to those who want to get onto the slopes quickly in the morning

Superb Value

We've (6 Male Mountainbikers) stayed at this apartment for the last 4 years. Its always been clean and well kept. Perfect for the trails in the summer being a 2 min ride from the Diable lift. its plenty big enough, and has everything you need and more. For the money I Couldn't recommend it enough. Sleeps 6 comfortably.
