Villa in Pernera, Nr. Protaras, Cyprus - Beach, Marina and Pernera Town Within 5 Mins Walk

In an ideal family location this fully air conditioned villa all furnished to a high standard to meet the needs of the whole family, which includes travel cot/playpen, highchair booster seat and cold water steriliser. A 5 minute walk in either direction to the beach, marina and the town complete with its many restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. The recently refurbished outside area with tiled pool and poolside. A superb base from where to explore the local area and surrounding villages. Protaras is a 5 minute car ride away or a 45 minute walk along the coastal walkway to the famous fig tree bay and miles of sandy beaches. The lively town of Ayia Napa is only a 15 minute car ride away if required. A car is not essential as all the required facilities are within a 5 minute walk. Car hire, local taxi pick up points and a local bus service are all within easy reach. Water sports and day trips are all available locally.

About Michael Alexander

Our small piece of paradise. We are a family of 5 from the South East of England including three daughters. We have been visiting the Protaras area of Cyprus for 15 years. We had always dreamed of owning our own villa and took the opportunity when funds were available, in a place full of happy memories. The area is relaxed and a wonderful holiday resort which is slowly progressing but retains the traditional Cypriot qualities we love. So much so that we bought a second villa to rent and allow us to invite friends out to enjoy the area and to also enjoy our children's own families, as they develop, with their own private space and pool.

We have refurbished the villa, pool and outside space in 2015 to ensure our high standards remain high.

Why Michael Alexander chose Protaras area

The villas are far enough away, 5 minutes, from the town and beach to enjoy the quiet but close enough for a gentle stroll to enjoy the local facilities. With Ayia Napa only 15 minutes away in a taxi and Protaras on 5 minutes away by taxi all tastes are catered for.

Pernera town only 5 minutes walk offers a quiet less busy area with many variations of restaurants and bars.

The marina and quiet beach offer a relaxing space for small children with shallow calm waters. The new promenade coastal walk now links Pernera to Protaras on foot for a fabulous route to the very long golden beaches in Protaras with great stop offs on the way. There are many other wonderful areas to visit via taxi or if a hire car is preferred to explore the local seafront caves and secluded beaches and bays.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is set up for families with children and we have provided all the main facilities for young babies if required. It is a safe environment all facilities on one level on the ground floor if guests with disabilities wish to visit. We have supplied a sofa bed if guests are restricted to one level. Pool area safe plates, glasses etc are supplied for use by children to not restrict enjoying the outside. We are able to arrange adjoining villas subject to availability for larger parties of guests or parties of more than one family. This provides the space and privacy to enjoy your stay and remain sane. Please ask for more details.

Private gated off road parking area in the front. Pool depth 1.8m to 1m cleaned twice weekly by our maintenance staff. Pool side shower. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All hand/bath towels and bed linen included. No beach towels provided. Maid service and other cleaning services available at extra cost on request. Second week towel and bed linen change included. No baby linen included due to individual requirements. Other: Dining area with large table, 6 chairs, seat top high chair, storage cupboard.

Excellent ❤️

Lovely property, clean and very well equipped.

The outside space was ideal, sitting in the shade, with a lovely breeze to keep us cool.

The noise from road was a little distracting at times, but this was possibly due to road diversions due to road works.

Otherwise perfect in every way.

BEAUTIFUL VILLA

Arrived to a very warm welcome from Demetris. This is a beautiful villa, well

equipped with everything you need for your holiday and well maintained.

It is immaculately clean. WiFi is a bit unpredictable. It is in a fantastic location only 5 minute walk from the shops and bars one way and a 5 minute stroll to the beach the other way.

I would recommend this villa to anyone and would rebook in the future

Lovely view

We have visited this villa twice now and find it to be very clean and well kitted out, with everything you need to holiday from home. The water cooler is fantastic and the wifi is a great addition. It is ideally situated as we don't really want a car - 5 minute stroll to the lovely beach and harbour and in the other direction a 5 minute walk to the centre of town for bars and restaurants. Villa manager was great - meeting us on arrival and answering queries when required! Overall a huge thank you - We hope to return again.

A 5 minute walk to the marina, beach with coastal Cypriot Church and marina cafe. The superb beaches of Protaras, Fig Tree bay and many more are all accessable by the coastal walkwak or by car or taxi if walking is not your thing. The beaches & water park of Ayia Napa are a 15 minute car ride away.

Travel:

Larnaca airport is 40 minute car ride and Paphos airport is 90 minute car ride from the villa.

Nicosia is a 90 minute car ride and the Troodos mountains 2 hours away.

A car is not essential as everthing is within walking distance.

Car hire and local taxi pick up points are within easy walking distance.

Airport transfers can be arranged prior to departure and payable locally on arrival.

Further Details:

The Town of Pernera hosts many varied family restuarants and include traditional Cypriot tavernas and many many more. Numerous bars, supermarkets & shops are all in easy reach. A medical center and pharmacy are also very close. The resort offers a wide range of activities to suit the whole family.
