French doors in the main rooms open straight out onto the covered terraces. The beaches, shops, port supermarkets and restaurants are but a short drive or 10-15 minute walk away. Notes on accommodation: The pool and barbeque are shared with the owners who sometimes stay on the first floor which is not let out. The pool is 1 metre deep at the shallow end, not suitable for young children unless supervised, and is for the sole use of the villa. The pool is unavailable from October to April. Cot can be provided on request. Pets may be considered out of season. Outside: Gated entrance and driveway. 12x4m pool with solar heating and a slide. Shower. Brick built charcoal barbeque. Built in seating. Sun loungers and parasols. several washing lines. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels supplied. Beach towels may be hired. Cleaning €50 extra or leave it as you would wish to find it. Damages deposit of £200 payable on arrival is REFUNDABLE. Other: Double glazing throughout.

Lovely place to relax

We had a really lovely holiday here in the apartment. It was lovely and clean, well resourced and a beautiful neighbourhood in which to spend time. The views from the villa are lovely and provided a lovely environment in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The pool is a great size and well maintained...we had lots of fun in it. This makes a great place for a family holiday.

Wonderful villa

Lovely villa,peaceful location,great outside space,great size pool.plenty of room inside for 4 people. Bath and separate shower a bonus. 2 beaches within 15 minute walk from villa. Plenty of shops and restaurants locally. Wifi was an added bonus for emails and whatsapp. Would not hesitate to book this villa again.

Location

Coast/Beach:

All the closest beaches are Blue flag and sandy.

Travel:

Airports. Girona 45 mins drive

Perpignan (in France) 90 mins Drive

Barcelona 2 hrs. drive

Nearest train station Figueres or Flaca, a half hour drive.

Distances:

Nearest restaurant is a five minute walk. Nearest shops are a fifteen minute walk or five minute drive, with easy parking.

Further Details:

All the closest beaches are Blue flag and sandy.

A road train runs between Montgo and San Marti. Within walking distance are many kinds of water sports; scuba diving, snorkelling, water ski-ing, jet ski-ing, and sailing .

There are sight seeing boat rides, glass bottom boats and banana boat rides.

Ten minutes walk from the apartment is a pine forest where you can picnic, mountain bike or walk and there are many other walking and cycling tracks elsewhere. ( cycle hire is available).

Further afield are the Greek/Roman ruins at Empuries, horse riding, go-karting, bird watching in the Natural wetland park at Aigumolls, wind surfing and more scuba diving around the Medas Islands in a protected marine area at Estartit, one of the prime dive sites in Europe.

Of course there are many places of cultural and historic interest such as the Dali museum, Gerona and Barcelona. A Car is definitely recommended.

Wi-Fi is also available at the new yacht club/cafeteria in the port, at a beach café in Montgo, the internet café in Riells and along the seafront at Riells and L'Escala.
