Apartment in Les Deux Alpes - Ski To Door With Stunning Mountain Views

The apartment is in the Janremon Development at the Venosc end of Les Deux Alpes. The resort is an all year round resort with activities to suit all ages. It has the largest skiable glacier and the largest snow park in Europe! The apartment has 2 bedrooms and has been furnished to a high standard and includes wifi. It is located on the 3rd floor taking full advantage of the stunning views of the surrounding mountains, which can be enjoyed from the south facing balcony. There is a double bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds and Z bed and a comfortable double sofa bed in the main living area. The bathroom has a good shower and WC. A secure ski locker is on the ground floor with ski to door access, during the winter, to the nursery slopes and the new Le Diable ski lift. There is private car parking and use of a locked garage on request, particularly useful for the storage of mountain bikes during the Summer season. Restaurants, bars and shops are all within a short walk.

About the Owner

We, Eric and Nicky, live in Ramsbottom, Lancashire with our two children, Beth (17) and Anton (14). We bought the apartment in 2008 after falling in love with Les Deux Alpes on a summer holiday spent skiing on the glacier and mountain biking. Since 2008 we have spent almost every summer and winter skiing holiday here, often with friends who rent the apartment next door (FR4141).

We love skiing at Easter when the slopes are quiet and the sun is often shining! Summer is either spent at the pool, walking, visiting Venosc, aventure parc etc. We are always amazed to see the nursery slopes transformed in the summer into a 9-hole golf course and mountain bike park. There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from and with the ice rink and bowling alley, plenty to do in the evenings.

The apartment is ideally located next to the Diable ski lift. We specifically chose a third floor apartment as the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The balcony is south facing, a real sun trap!

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


Nearest airports are Grenoble and Lyon, but easily accessible from Geneva as well. There are bus links from Grenoble and Lyon airports. Les Deux Alpes can be reached by car, the drive from Calais takes approximately 8 hours.


Les 2 Alpes is also close to the 2 charming villages of Mont de Lans and Venosc.

Apart from the summer skiing there are many activities on offer in the Summer. There are four different areas for mountain bikers which cater for all levels of difficulty, whether beginners, competition level or families. All disciplines are catered for; free riding, freestyle, cross-country and ordinary cycling tours. Other activities available in the summer are hiking, water sports incl. whitewater rafting, the Adventure Parc (a french Go Ape), fishing, archery etc!

A meet and greet service is available from our English speaking key holder. A security deposit of 300 euros by credit card is held on arrival by key holder.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible, but usually Saturday.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the apartment per week in UK Pounds. A £200 deposit is payable at time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to commencement of your holiday or by arrangement if departure is within this time. Changeover day is usually Saturday but flexible particularly during non-peak times – please enquire.

From the Owner

We have a private parking space available for guests to use. The apartment was bought as a second family home for us and so has a selection of DVDs, books and a PS2 to keep the family entertained. Our keyholder, who meets and greets guests is english speaking and available during your stay if you have any problems.

  • Notes on accommodation: Ideal for families, children can play outside in good view from the balcony. Although located close to all amenities it is in a quiet position. Non-smoking apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is included. Linen can be provided at a cost of 10 Euros per person, towels and hand towels are an additional 5 Euros per person. Other: There is a generous sized entrance hall with storage for boots, coats etc. There is an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. There is also a hairdryer.
