Villa in Le Rouret, Nr. Valbonne, Cote d'Azur - Beautiful Village Location, Easy Distance To Beaches And Mountains

Stunning villa in a gorgeous location. Pool area beautifully decked - Gorgeous! Views of the mountains and distant coast line. Hi-fi, TV's and Sky. Kids bedroom with PlayStation and game / film library. Summer dinning terrace with large Gas Barbecue. Shady areas to relax and sunbathing terrace away from main pool area for serious sun bathers! Great location for mountain lovers and beach goers very easy access to both. This is a stunning location in winter, for long sunny walks and ideal also for those wanting to explore the Medieval villages of the Cote D'azure, Gordon, St Paul de Vence being less than 20 mins drive. Skiing is located as little as 40 mins away some great facilities for all abilities and ages. Monaco is only 30 minutes away and offers a different world again to explore. Or shopping in Cannes is great for those in need of serious retail therapy. Ideal rental for large family or multiple families. Catering can be organised and concierge services are available at an extra charge and on request.

Summer months are stunning on the Cote d'Azur and there is no better place to be. Soak up the rays by the pool or visit one of the stunning medieval towns. The beautiful beaches of Juan Les Pinns, Cannes, Antibes and Nice are all only 20 minutes away. If you are up for adventure then rafting, climbing and paragliding are all in easy distance. There is stuff to do for all ages or nothing to do at all -whatever takes your fancy!

Christmas and New Year in Le Rouret. This is a wonderful place to spend that festive time together as a family. Local villages really know how to feel that festive spirit. Enjoy meals out and some wonderful restaurants, days on the beach walking and paddling. The medieval villages that ooze mystery and festivity at Christmas are a must see at Christmas. Skiing is plenty from this location, go east for the slopes of Isola, Limone, Auron and Valberg or further north for Greolieres, Audiberg or Foux da los.

New Year comes in with a bang here, fireworks in every direction and lots of fun to choose from, its really a question of mountains or coast line?

About the Owner

We moved to France from the UK in 2006 and love the lifestyle in the Cote D'Azur - its a wonderful part of the world to live. Our children go to the local schools and enjoy the beach and mountains. In the Summer we rent our home to families and we go off and explore other areas for the Summer months. We hope you enjoy spending time in our home and love the area as much as we do!

"Wonderful relaxing holiday in a gorgeous Villa, thank you so much for being so helpful, we all had a great time" Suzy Pitcher, Warwickshire

"I have to say that it was the best family holiday we have ever had, even beats Mauritius! We did mountain biking, boating, walking and lots of eating and drinking by the pool - the weather was perfect and the wine even better, we cant thank you enough"! Isbisters Family, Wolverhampton.

"Faboulous location, near the coast but far enough away not to be bothered by crowds of people. Shopping in Cannes was excellent and boat spotting in Anitbes was well worth it! The house was superb thank for all your effort it making sure it was perfect and the sleeping arrangements were as we needed, and thank you for organising Charlottes birthday party also" Mills, Windsor

Fabulous half term getaway

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful villa nestled in amazing countryside .

A fantastic family break, a heartbeat from the beaches and mountains. Traditional culture and Monaco just a short drive away so a prefect location. The villa was so comfortable great dining options with outdoor veranda and lovely living dining area . The pool was perfect my 2 girls were mermaids and I was sipping a glass of something cool whilst smelling the Mimosa.

Thank you for a perfect stay.

The fireflies light up the sky at night coupled with the exotic smell of the jasmine plants the cover the terrace ... Heaven !

Glorious property, fabulous location

  • 5 of 5

We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. The beautiful Villa is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Everything you need for a delightful stay is provided, a fabulous swimming pool with enough sunbeds to please even the Germans! LOL,

Plenty of space for a large family or group of friends. We particularly enjoyed evenings barbequing on the terrace whilst guzzling the local Rose wines.

We found the villa was ideally located to explore all the major towns and attractions including some amazing medieval hilltop villages, and we were less than 30 minutes from the beaches. There was so much to do and see in the area for all age groups.

We loved our time there and will certainly return.

Gem of a Villa

  • 5 of 5

We flew into Nice and hired a car to take us to Le Rouret.

What a delight to arrive at this beautifully appointed 6 bedroomed villa.

The first thing you notice is that this is someone's home and everything one would need is there.

The lounge is very spacious and exits to the garden and the terrace overlooking the valley. The pool is down a few steps and is wonderful to cool off in and bask in the sunshine.

The table tennis table got plenty of use with highly competitive action.

We ate in and in the local restaurants.

The Michelin star restaurant in the village, Clos St Pierre, was fabulous for our Sunday lunch but other restaurants in the area rare of a high standard.

The nearest supermarket is a a short car ride but the village wine merchant is very good indeed.

We even joined the local gym to shake a few pounds.

Being back from the coast has the advantage of the roads being less busy but everywhere is accessible in a short time.

We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Location

From the Owner

We bought this house because its big with lots areas to disappear in! We loved the village, because although its close to the beaches of Cannes, Antibes and Juan Les Pins, its a very small French village and the people are very warm and friendly. It has everything you could need in the village, but there is no English pub or chip shop! It is very French, with a Michelin Restaurant, beautiful Boulangerie and a large area for Boules. If its glamour, high life and a buzz, then venture to Monaco or Cannes or Antibes they are just down the road!

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Nice at 20 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 200 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Opio Gold at 5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Cagnes Sur Mer at 15 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A8 at 15 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : La Clos St Piere at 400 Metres Nearest Ski : greolieres les neiges at 60 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Juan Les Pinns at 25 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Cannes is only 20 mins away and with its Vast yachts the town lives up to its motto, "Life is a festival." People-watching is the activity that brings most visitors to Cannes But the Beaches are a huge draw. Get expensive seaside food and drinks service on hotel sand or opt for the free public beaches, Plages du Midi and de de la Boca. Or opt for the beeches of Antibes or Juan Le Pins. Plenty of choice of both Private and public beaches - remember the cream the Sun is strong in the summer!

Travel:

Nice airport is 20 mins drive away, but we are no where near the flight path so there is no noise or interference of any kind from planes. Car Hire is recommended as there is so much to do and see in the area, but if a relaxing holiday is all you want by the pool then local amenities in the village are available at walking distance and the bus stop (public transport excellent in France) is at the end of the road. Local taxi man also available.

Distances:

Our neighbouring village is Rouquefort Les Pinns with plenty of shops, restaurants and wine bars and is within walking distance. The beautiful medieval village of Valbonne is 5 mins drive away. Grasse is 10 mins drive. Cannes and Antibes 20 mins, Monaco is 30 mins, St Rapheal 1 hour drive St Tropez 2 hours drive.

Further Details:

Village shops, bank and cashpoint 10 mins walk. Cycling and walking on the doorstep. Le Rouret is proud to have a Michelin Starred Restaurant La Clos de St Pierre and other Italian and Pizza restaurants. Valbonne has many eateries and shops. St Paul de Vence is worth visiting for the art galleries. Many super markets available locally.
