A beautiful location overlooking this picturesque small Marina. With uninterrupted views over the Marina, cala and headland. Spacious and well designed interior with comprehensively equipped kitchen and large dining area leading directly on to the terrace and pool. Separate comfortable lounge with 2 sets of double doors opening onto the terrace, garden and pool. With 4 double bedrooms (3 upstairs, one downstairs), all with en-suite shower rooms. The 3 upstairs bedrooms have air-con and private terraces overlooking the marina. Mature, well maintained gardens and BBQ area. And only a short walk to join one of the most magnificent stretches of the bridleway Cami de Cavalls. If you are a keen walker, the route from Addaia to Es Grau (whilst requiring some stamina for the 18km walk) is one of the most beautiful walks you'll ever do!

"Your villa is beautiful, and I can honestly say this as we have stayed in a fair few Villas over the years. It was so clean and comfortable. It is obvious that you have put a lot of thought into it. We did spend a lot of time at the villa watching the boats/people. Sally was happy in the pool - the pool means everything to her . . . . who knows we may just break our trend of not visiting the same place twice!!" Jill G.

In fact the photos didn't do it justice because the downstairs area was far bigger than we had expected and very comfortable, the furnishings were perfect just enough to make it homely without being cluttered. Fantastic accommodation in lovely location

This is a beautiful property, well maintained and equipped. There were ten of us in our party, six adults and four children. We all had en-suite rooms, which were comfortably furnished. The reception rooms are large and comfortable, and being that there were so many of us we never felt on top of one another. The large kitchen/diner is excellently equipped, and there is an outside BBQ and eating area which was clean and well maintained. There is plenty of comfortable seating for lounging around the pool, which is of a good size and well maintained. The property is on the waterfront with wonderful views across the bay and out to sea. The supermarket is about a six minute walk away along with restaurants. We hired a car, which I think is a necessity here, so we could go further afield, to the beach and other resorts and restaurants.

We had a fantastic week here. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and I would highly recommend it.

A gem of a villa in a fantastic location.

We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks in September 2016 with daughter. On arrival we were delighted by the beautiful location overlooking Port Addaya. The pool area has plenty of seating and sun beds and provides ample opportunity to people watch as the day unfolds in the port. There is a lovely Port bar serving food as well as drinks. You can also hire bicycles if you are so inclined.

The villa itself is furnished in a stylish manner and the kitchen in particular is extremely well equipped. The villa is clean and well maintained and the owner was helpful and friendly on all aspects of the rental and eager to make our stay a pleasant one.

We ate out a number of evenings and used the local taxis so we could all relax and enjoy the local wine. The highlight of our trip was a Jeep Safari which we could highly recommend.

Overall we were delighted by the villa, the surrounding area and the island of Menorca as a whole. In fact we loved it so much we have already booked again for next year!

There are some more bars and restaurants within walking distance of the villa as well as a couple of shops.

Beautiful Property, Idyllic Location

Stayed a week in the villa which was like home from home.Offered all the facilities you could wish for to make your stay truly wonderful. The location was quiet but local amenities including the local restaurants where perfect, a car is not necessary but useful should you wish to see this beautiful island.

But if its a quiet holiday you are looking for then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa for the perfect relaxing holiday with all the comforts you require.

Prime Location

Location. 20 minutes from Mahon airport.ideal after an early start and Airport hassle.Easy walking access to the local restaurants and shops.

Location. Overlooking an harbour with lots to see whilst relaxing with a beer.

Location. Good access to all of the Islands points of interest via uncrowded, well maintained roads,I'd forgotten that driving pleasure!

Oh,and if you are in to getting off the beaten track and exploring the beautiful countryside,this place really does take a lot of beating

The property itself was splendid,modern, well proportioned ,scrupulously

Clean and very well equipped. Real thought had been given to the fittings and furnishings and all of our party of five were impressed with what had clearly been a very genuine attempt to please and to indulge even the most discerning of guests. Full marks to owner Simone.

It's difficult to add to the excellent reviews that this property has already attracted and it was interesting to read the comments left in the Visitors Book. Do all of the visitors who leave comments promising to return, really do so ? clearly many do and I'm sure that we will be amongst their number in the future!

We were a party of five middle aged people, yet this place lends itself to all kinds of groups young and old.

Amazing Villa!

Our family stayed in this amazing villa for a week in October and we were bowled over by it! The villa itself is beautiful with everything we could possibly need (including inflatables for the kids to use in the pool!) The rooms are stunning with elegant decor and those upstairs have balconies with beautiful views across the Port. The pool and outdoor area was gorgeous. We had to keep a close eye on the little ones around the pool but we would not expect anything else. If we couldn't supervise them, they played inside happily as there was plenty of space. The villa catered for a range of ages. Our party ranged from 4 to 76 and we all loved it!!

The weather was incredible! We stepped back into mid-summer for a week in Autumn which was just lovely! The kids loved being able to swim in the sea and play on the beach in their cossies when we would have been wrapped up in waterproofs in England! Fabulous!! :D

Coast/Beach:

Allegedly Menorca has more beaches than Majorca and Ibiza combined! There are local beaches within 5 mins drive from the villa. The safe, sandy and family-friendly beach of Arenal D'en Castell has plenty of family amenities. Na Macaret is smaller and lovely. Then Son Parc beach is c. 15 mins away.

Travel:

You can fly from 17 UK airports to Mahon. Mahon Airport is c. 20 minute drive. Car hire is essential to explore this island. Flights from the UK: Birmingham, Gatwick, East Midlands, Luton, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds.

Distances:

Mahon the capital is a 15-20 min drive away. Ciutadella about 30-40 minutes. Fornells fishing village, famous for good restaurants, is 15 mins drive.

Further Details:

You can walk to a range of local shops, bars and restaurants. There is also the Port Bar just the other side of the marina. Close enough to walk to in minutes and far enough not to be noisy.

There are also some fabulous restaurants on the islands - full listing available in the villa manual on arrival.

Historic Mahon - the capital is a 15-20 min drive away and well worth a thorough explore. Great little shops and fabulous food/fish markets, endless cafes and restaurants, sweeping stairways to more splendid views over the port.

There is some beautiful countryside and wildlife on Menorca making it popular with walkers and bird watchers. Es Grau and the stunning Albufera Natural Reserve is about 15 minutes away. Menorca itself is a walker's heaven and the magnificent Cami de Cavalls can be reached in c. 7 minutes walk up the hill behind the villa. I challenge visitors to take the 18km walk to Es Grau - absolutely stunning - but perhaps best avoided in the heat of July and August!

Fishing and game fishing is also available in Mahon.

Kayaks can be hired in the Marina in front of the villa to explore the Cala. There are several scuba diving centres on the island which run daily trips to some of the best dive sites in the Med.

I also recommend the Jeep Safari - great way to see hidden parts of the island and enjoy a really exciting off-road experience.

100% positive feedback from 2009-2012 visitors (English, French, Swiss, Norwegian, American) "the photos don't do it justice" . . . "we felt we had the best spot on Menorca" . . . "will definitely be back - thank you". And honestly, many of our guests simply don't move far from the villa "this is the best place just to sit and watch the world go back"
