Carolyn and I as owner occupiers of the apartment with a 9 year old daughter always wanted to make our property feel relaxing and comfortable during our holiday with family friends and guests which would reflect the feel we all have when we arrive in the Mediterranean for our holiday break with good first impressions of the accommodation and area! A super apartment, spacious and homely

The apartment is very spacious with two good size bedrooms and a lovely open plan living/dining and kitchen. Really well equipped and simply but homely decorated. The first floor location is great for access and families and very secure with lockable communal doors. A quiet complex which is beautifully finished and really handy parking. The communal pool is clean and easy access from the apartment. Lovely club house for dinner and views of the sunset at night. For families there is a sports bar at the front of the complex that serves good food. Great supermarket 5 mins away from the complex. Hire a car and you can explore your surroundings easily. Really worth a visit, a lovely apartment on a great golf resort (especially if you like golf too!) Thanks Paul xx

Hacienda del Alamo Luxury Apartment

This is a very well appointed apartment in a quiet complex. It is very clean & well maintained. The owner & agent are first class in all aspects of their discharge of duties for this property. I can recommend, la caverna restaurant alhama de Murcia, if you want good, reasonably priced food in an entirely different décor restaurant!

Impressed with Apartment and Golf Facilities.

Our stay here was as good as we expected. This 2 bedroomed apartment was very clean, well decorated and was well equipped with good quality furniture and equipment. Everything was as discussed and the location superb for golf only 2 minutes away. The golf course, clubhouse and restaurant were first class. The pitch and putt 6 hole course and driving range perfect for practice. If you wanted a more active night life then Murcia and Cartegena were only a short drive away. I would definetly like to return to this apartment and would certainly recommend this well situated apartment to friends and family.

long weekend break.

Apartment was roomy, well furnished and very comfortable. All rooms clean and tidy. Onsite bar and restaurant. Close to golf course so that was a bonus and very nice clubhouse with bar, restaurant and terrace. Overall very pleased and would recommend trying this place.

Excellent accomodation

Great apartment within a quiet location tastefully furnished with everything you need, situated next to the golf course with lovely views from the fountain square. Short drive to the nearest town and large supermarket, bars and restaurants. Plenty of beach resorts to visit within a 20 minute drive so also good for exploring the region. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and plan to come back. Andrew

We purchased our property at Hacienda Del Alamo in September 2008 because of the location and high standard of golf facilities and personnel the resort would attract. The 5 star Melia group luxury Spa hotel would also indirectly attract and assist us in marketing our apartment to potential quest staying on the resort. The location from Murcia ( San Javier) airport to the resort is 30 minutes so too our the shops, beaches and the cities of Cartagena and Murcia so its in a great location we believe. Quiet too on the resort in the evenings, if one requires the town and city atmosphere its down the road, but a good nights sleep awaits your accommodation when you return to the resort. Child friendly too no vehicle access is available within the Spanish village where we are located.

Hacienda Del Alamo is situated 30 minutes away from Cartagena and Mazarron and La Manga. The beaches of Mar Menor are warm and shallow and safe for Children. Mazarron too having a fantastic beach coastline with bars and restaurants. The lovely City of Murcia is also 30 minutes drive and easily accessible from Hacienda Del Alamo by the newly opened motorway RM2 and AP7.


Murcia (San Javier) airport is 30 minutes drive from Hacienda del Alamo golf resort, a very easy journey too. A new airport in Corvera some 15 minutes away is due to open later this year. Monarch, Jet2, Ryanair and Easyjet all fly into San Javier from most National & region UK airports. Car hire is recommended for the duration of your stay.


The local town of Fuente Alamo is 5 mins drive away and offers, supermarkets, shops, bars, banks and restaurants. By road Murcia, Cartagena and Mazarron are 30 minutes drive with Alicante within 1 hour. For the more adventurous Madrid is 2 hours by train from Murcia. Granada ski resorts 3 hrs (by car)

The resort itself offers a fine dining experience and the stunning club house offers a daily menu and restaurant/bar area where you can relax or take a table on the terrace with panoramic views of the course. It also offers comfortable lounge areas where you can relax after a tough 18 holes and enjoy the panoramic views. The Club House is family friendly. There is also a sports complex offering tennis courts, bowls green & football pitches available on the resort and play areas for children.

The spanish village located in the middle of the resort is the focal point with over 40 commercial units which will further draw the community that has already been established on the resort closer together as owner occupies look to the village to serve its weekly groceries, go out for a meal in one of the bars or resturaunts or just browse the shops.

Due to open mid 2009 is the 5 star Melia Group hotel and Spa offering exquisitly designed bungalow style luxury accommodation with relaxing therapies. All this within 5 minutes walk from your apartment.

The main benefit of our apartment in Spain other than the sun is we feel relaxed in the environment we have created in our humble abode we spend 4 weeks of the year at. The supermarket is 5 minutes away, the cities and beaches 30 minutes drive, even an episode of Coronation street is available at the flick of a button. The Golf resort and facilities speak for themselves so for me and my family its relax on the balcony or go for a swim, its home from home without the Manchester rain.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fitted with climate control to each room which enables the temperature to be varied in the summer and winter months. Due to the apartment location within a pedestrian area, children are free to play in the knowledge that vehicle movements are only accessible around the perimeter of the village with underground parking allocation per apartment. Amenities include Golf driving range, practice course 18 hole golf course, tennis courts and play areas for children. Outside: Apartment has a large south west facing patio area with 6 seater dining table and chairs overlooking the pedestrian area where one can people watch from a distance from the first floor apartment. A number of communal pools are available around the resort. Utility Room: Iron and iron board, washing liquid, soap powders and toilet paper are supplied including dust pan and brush. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be sparkle cleaned before arrival. Towels and linen provided with additional services available through the management company including welcome packs at extra cost. Other: South Western facing balcony with patio furniture to seat 6 and separate 14 sq metre terrace. Also balcony to rear of lounge.
