Villa in Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain - Quiet Residential Area, 5 Minutes From The Beach

Villa Solarada is a high quality, modern, detached villa. It is located in a primarily residential area of Javea and the main beach area is 5 minutes away by car. Most guests tell us their plans to explore the area were undermined because Villa Solarada was such a welcoming home from home, they tended to spend most of their days pottering around beside the pool! For the more energetic there are theme parks, water parks, boat trips, wildlife parks, horse riding, golf, etc all readily available in the area. There is a park area 2 minutes walk from the villa. Most guests save their energy for the evening when they seek out local restaurants, there is a huge choice available to suit all tastes and budgets.

Hola!

Having had a great family holiday in Javea area when our daughters were young we always had a dream that maybe one day we would be able to have our own place in the sun. Fast forward several years and we pooled resources with our great friends to have Villa Solarada built in 2005. We work hard to keep it looking as good as new.

Andy purchased this villa in 2006

Why Andy chose Xàbia

Javea is a family friendly town that is incredibly popular with holiday makers who want the freedom and flexibility of their own space and pool whilst having easy access to restaurants, the beach, beachside bars etc.

Why choose Villa Solarada? Well we think it is a lovely place to relax and help take the weight off your shoulders for a week or two. The area has a well deserved reputation for good weather and we love the fact that guests choose to spend special occasions in their life at our home including significant birthdays, wedding anniversaries, baby's first holiday etc.

What makes this villa unique

If you are into swimming you will love our 12 metre swimming pool! If you are into falling asleep on an inflatable you will love our pool ;-)

Our location is in a lovely quiet area of Javea with a restaurant and a bar in walking distance of the villa. Within 5 minutes pootle in your car you can be at the beach.

Notes on accommodation: We have had a number of guests with children stay at the villa, no problems at all. The pool is not gated from the terraced areas and so we would recommend adults keep an eye on the children (or the other way round!) when playing. Central heating and portable gas heaters are available for winter lets and air-con for the summer. There are security shutters on all windows which do a good job of keeping the villa cool of an evening. A cot and high chair are available at the villa if required. A variety of games are available for guests to play with. Sky TV is provided. There is a home fitness machine available for guests to potentially use. Outside: The private swimming pool is an impressive 12 x 4 metres so you can have a good daily workout (if you want!). There are usually a range of inflatables etc available for guests to use. There is one men's bicycle available (so Dad can pop down to the patisserie to bring back croissants for the rest of the family!) and one la. The garden terraces provide areas of sun and shade so you can take a break from the sun if required, in my experience it is required! Six comfortable sun loungers and cushions are provided to help you work on the holiday tan. The outdoor naya area has a table and six chairs, if you eat at the villa you will, most likely, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here overlooking the swimming pool. There is an indoor dining table and chairs also available if you prefer to eat inside. The garden is low maintenance with a range of trees including lemon and olive trees, the garden has an irrigation system. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Towels and linen are included. Beach towels potentially available, please contact us for more details.

The best villa we have ever stayed in!

Beautiful pool, which was clean, and well kept. There were plenty of sun loungers, with good quality cushions, and plenty of inflatables to use.

The naya had a lovely table & chairs, and there was also plenty of outside lighting for those balmy evenings.

Inside the decor was excellent. The kitchen was superbly appointed, with all the equipment you might want - dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots & pans ...

The lounge was clean, with lovely seating, TV, music player, wifi ...

The 2 bathrooms were clean and well maintained, with showers, sinks and toilets

The 3 bedrooms were all of a good size. 2 had air-con, and the third, downstairs, was cool enough at night for a good sleep, despite us being there in July, with the day time temperatures in the mid 30s.

There was secure parking, and secure windows and shutters.

And there was also an excellent set of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Coast/Beach:

The main beach is a 5 minute drive (3km) from the villa. This is a sandy bay with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours available. Several guests have walked to/from the beach but there is a significant gradient when returning and so we tend to load up the car and drive down. We have never had a problem parking even in the height of summer.

Travel:

Alicante and Valencia airports are both approximately 75 minutes easy drive from the villa. The majority of the journey is by motorway. Full directions to and from the airport will be provided prior to your departure. Car hire is essential. We can recommend a couple of companies we have used in the past if you would like us to.

Distances:

Javea is a popular destination in itself but if you are looking for Theme Parks or Water Parks these are available about 40 minutes drive at Benidorm (40 minutes by car from Benidorm but a world away in every other respect!). The water park in particular is a lot of fun!

Valencia is approx. 75 minutes drive away and is an excellent dynamic city to visit (Spain's 3rd city).

The nearest restaurant to the villa is a small, Spanish family run, restaurant and is a 2 minute walk.

Further Details:

There are many and varied restaurants available in Javea and can cater for most culinary preferences. There are a number of supermarkets, local shops, banks and medical centres available within a few minutes of the villa
