A renovated 1st floor apartment at the foot of the old town of Salobrena.c/w WiFi You probably won't get a better spot for your money. It is old town living without the climb up the hill after a night out. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk. There are several large supermarkets and banks within 5 minutes. The beach is a 7 minute walk away down a tree lined road. There is ample street parking. This apartment is available for long term let up to 6 months.

We had the opportunity to take a year out and we did.

The renovations were carried out over the winter and we spent the next 6 months

doing absolutely nothing.

It was real hard work laying on the beach during the day and sitting outside the local bars on the night but we managed.

Back in the UK now and back to reality.

We make it back as often as possible 4/6 weeks a year and we leave with sad heart.

Excellent location in Salobrena for walking to the beach, visiting the shops and getting home from the tapas bars. Fully functioning kitchen with all the comforts of home, a great roof terrace to enjoy the sun and have a bbq, and TV/DVD indoors to pass the time too! Highly recommended. April 2013

Notes on accommodation: Pets will be allowed on merit. Please contact owner. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but there is a long balcony along the apartment and a large sun terrace. Outside: From the terrace there are superb views of Salobrena old town and up to the ancient church. On the terrace is a dining table that seats 6, chairs, a food preparation area and BBQ. The terrace is an excellent place to sunbath for that total body tan and then in the evening to sit and dine or just sit back with a glass of wine and relax, watching over the the old town. Utility Room: Cool box, sun shade.Portable gas heater. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedding and bathroom towels are provided along with beach towels. Additional sets are left for long lets. A cleaning service is available for an additional fee. Other: Everything on the sunterrace is owend by myself for the use of my guests.

Well equipped and lovely apartment

Nice size and handy location for old town and beach. Well equipped apartment and everything from booking to getting in the place was smooth and hassle free. Roof terrace had great views, looking up, into the old town although at this time of year it was too hot up there during the afternoon and not much shade to be had up there!

The only reason we couldn't give it 5 stars (and this is no fault of the owner or apartment itself) was due to the road outside being surprisingly busy at all hours of the night with motos, all putting their rev limiters to great use.

Ideal location

The apartment has an ideal location at the foot of the old town in Salobrena , 10mins walk to the beach, 30min drive to Granada,40min to Nerja.

Apartment is spacious with 3 decent sized bedrooms,living room,kitchen and 1 bathroom,ceiling fans throughout

Good wifi to keep kids happy and decent roof top terrace for the odd bbq night which has pleasant views of the old town

TV needs upgrading as no BBC/ITV ! so missed Andy at Wimbledon boo hoo!

Parking a little tricky but you will get a space around the block if not outside and make sure you push your wing mirrors in as narrow streets!

Owner Nigel was pleasant prompt and easy to deal with.

Apartment represents good value in an ideal location ,no British pubs here so you can immerse yourself in the Spanish lifestyle with many fantastic classic tapas bar & cafes

Perfect location

You could not ask for a better location in Salobrena, close to everything the beach is walkable to but there is a bus if you need it. There is also a bus that stops a few houses away which will take you up to the Castle and Old Town for 1 Euro.

The flat itself is without a doubt completely stocked with everything you may need and more. Nigel is fantastic and most helpful. A great location to experience the 'real' Spain from.

Salobrena apartment holiday

Fantastic week in Salobrena Spain. The apartment was just right for myself and my seven year old son. It's location was the biggest bonus for us, with a central situation avoiding any hills. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this accommodation to friends and hope to stay again in the near future.

The pictures of this lovely apartment don't do it justice, it's cosy and homely and spacious, with just about every possible item included to make your stay a good one. Owner is friendly and helpful, considering we booked st last minute (the morning we arrived!) he really went out of his way to accommodate us. We loved the roof terrace. It was nice sitting in the small balcony listening to Spanish life rocking by! We really like salobrena, an unpretentious town with good tapas and a lovely beach. The pretty old town was a bonus as well. We'd hope to come again.

Fantastic appartment in Salobrena

The appartment is surprisingly roomy and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped for a Spanish holiday rental and the WiFi was a welcome bonus. The flat was also clean and well-maintained - it feels more like a home from home than the standard impersonal holiday accommodation. Plus the location is ideal, right in the middile of town and with lovely views looking up to the old town from the spacious roof terrace. The market is literally a minute away and there's a choice of several decent supermarkets within easy walking distance. Nigel is friendly and helpful and on hand should you need anything. This flat is great value for money and we'd highly recommend it to anyone.

The long beaches are a 7 minute walk away with the El Penon rock rising from the sea. There are several beach bars to enjoy a drink and a free tapa's, along with restaurants and gift shops. Sunbeds can be rented by the day and water sports are available.


Malaga airport is an hour away with Granada airport the same. Car hire available or use the excellent bus services.


Alambra Palace in Granada is 60 minutes away, Nerja 30 mins, Motril with it's twice weekly market is 10 mins away and Almunecar with a busy Friday market is a steady 15 minutes away.
