This 2 bedroom cottage is located just off the Ring of Kerry approx 10 min drive from the picturesque bustling town of Kenmare, famous for its award winning restaurants and pubs. The house is south facing and enjoys stunning views to the Caha Mountains and the Beara Peninsula. Nearby Coss Strand, Pat Spillane's Bar, the Ring O'Kerry Golf and Country Club, Templenoe Pier (for sea swimming and sailing) and the forest walks of Dromore Wood are all within 5 min driving distance. Local activity centres offer a wide range of water sports, including sailing and kayaking. Other local amenities include forest walks, hill walking, horse riding and pony trekking, trout / salmon and deep sea fishing.

The property is an excellent base for exploring the Iveragh, Beara and Dingle Peninsulas and for day drives to Killarney National Park.

The owner is a wheelchair user, so the property has been adapted to be ideal for persons of reduced mobility. Pets welcome by arrangement with owner, but must be kept out of bedroom area. Sleeps 4/5.

Lovely place, lovely part of the world

Clean, good facilities in general. Broadband speed is poor and hot water in showers not too great (low flow from an immersion heater). Otherwise pretty much perfect!

Well equipped cottage in the beautiful Ring of Kerry

The cottage is pleasant, in a narrow road on a hill with a spectacular view on the bay. It is a nice place to stay and explore the region. Some minor problems: absence of curtains in the shower and WiFi not strong enough for 5.

Beautiful Location

My first trip to Ireland and the Ring of Kerry, what a beautiful place the scenery is magnificent. The accommodation was homely and comfortable, well equipped and ideal for a visitor with limited mobility or a wheelchair user, the cottage is fully accessible.

Perfect house to discover Kerry County!

Really nice house, perfect to discover the area. Everything's was really clean and well organized when we came (even if we arrived quite late in the evening). The view on the Kenmare river is fantastic, and many paths around the place for those who like to hike. We would come again without any doubt! Thank you for everything!
