The apartments are situated very close to the sports bar/restaurant and sports facilities (football, basketball, tennis, squash and padel courts). Our 2 bedroom fully air-conditioned apartment has 2 floors. The first level has 2 bedrooms; 1 bathroom, kitchen and a lounge/diner. The second level is a solarium floor. Our 3 bedroom fully air-conditioned apartment is on the ground floor. It has 3 bedrooms; 1 bathroom; kitchen and a lounge/diner. There is a patio area at the front and rear of the apartment. The patio furniture in each apartment makes it perfect for those days relaxing in the sun and evenings chilling out with some wine and tapas into the early hours. Both apartments have UK TV channels available and free wi-fi.

The lounge/diner has a LCD TV (with UK TV), DVD player and iPOD dock, as well as dining table with seating for 4.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.

Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed.

All bedrooms have large built in double wardrobes.

The air-conditioning is operated by remote control and each room can be temperature controlled independently

We live in North West England and have a young daughter. We bought the apartments jointly with parents to encourage us to take our holidays from work and for our parents to start to wind down and relax more. We have furnished the apartments to a high standard as we see them as our holiday home that we occasionally let friends and family use. We enjoy hearing about where our guests visit and try and provide good information on what is in the area in our apartment pack. It also helps us go straight to all the good places based on recommendations!

“Lovely and peaceful but plenty to do. The pool is perfect and is only 40 yards away from your front door-ideal for kids as it has a separate kids' pool area. The weather was perfect, not a cloud and 31'C every day. We stayed in the 2-bed apartment - spotless on arrival and the in-house facilities gave us everything we needed.

The on-site bar and restaurant are lively and have a very friendly atmosphere. We visited the local beaches and visited a few restaurants off-site which are recommended in the welcome brochure.

The site is also great for golf and I played in the local competition which is run on a Friday, and I returned for a 4-day golf break in October, which I am doing again this year. We are also returning to the apartments in Sept 2011. Can't wait!”

Home from home

Myself, my husband, our 5 month old and my mum stayed at this lovely apartment for 11 nights during August. I was quite nervous about taking our baby on our first family holiday and staying here was perfect as it was like being home from home. The apartment is very well furnished/maintained and has all of the mod cons which was extremely important to us. Great communication with the owner and provided us with all of the necessary information prior to our trip and very kindly allowed us to check in early on our arrival.

Not a lot going on on the complex itself, which is completely perfect as we wanted to have a quite and relaxing break.

I recommend taking a visit to Sophie's at the Alkazar - superb Shashlik! Also the Golf Club do a great Sunday lunch and BBQ mid week all reasonably priced.

We will definitely be booking to come back again next year.

Great time, great place.

Our family of 5 have just had a wonderful holiday in this very well equipped and clean apartment. It is close to the clubhouse for the children's club and sports facilities but totally peaceful and the pool and play area are not even 100 steps away but again there was no noise. So safe for young children. The route from the airport was easy to follow and the roads are quiet. The local beach at Mazarron was lovely and shallow and sandy. There is a good range of places to eat on site and in the nearby port. The owners were very flexible with our arrangements.

We bought in this area because of the amount of sunshine per year and the easy access from Alicante, Murcia San Javier and Almeria airports. We like the area because it is typically unspoilt and is in close proximity to the beaches and Sierra Espuna national park. Being a golfer, it's also good to have so many fantastic courses within a 30 minute drive!

Special interest holidays:

The Sierra Espuna national park is widely acknowledged as one of the best locations for walking and outdoor activities in Spain.


The beaches at Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo are 15-20 minutes drive away.


Murcia Airport is 40 minutes drive away. Alicante Airport is 55 minutes drive away. Corvera Airport (opening in 2016) will be 25 minutes drive away. We recommend car hire to enjoy the area to the full.


The on site sports facilities are 2 minutes walk away. The resort town centre on site is 5-10 minute walk away. There is a supermarket, restaurants and bars in the town centre. Camposol is 5-10 minutes drive away (restaurants/bars/take away food/supermarket). Alhama is 15 minutes away. Mazarron is 15 minutes away. Cartagena is 35 minutes away. Murcia city is 40 minutes away.

Part weeks are available subject to availability.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit of £50 to confirm your booking and the balance to be paid 40 days prior to check-in.

If you are booking within 6 weeks of departure, we expect the balance to be paid immediately.

In addition to the rental charges there is a bond of £100 payable with the final balance. This will be returned when our property managers confirm no damage to the apartment (usually within 2 weeks of your departure.

We are flexible on changeover day and arrival and departure times subject to other bookings.

The local charge covers 1 week, there is an additional 20 euros for stays over 1 week to cover a linen change and payable locally on arrival.

The resort has excellent facilities within a couple of minutes walk. For those that want complete relaxation you don't need to leave the resort. For the adventurous, there are fantastic activities within Sierra Espuna and traditional Spanish towns of Alhama, Totana and Cartagena within a reasonable drive. Both our apartments are well equipped for young families. Having a young daughter ourselves we have kitted them out with cot (with bedding), bed guard, high chair, baby monitors, child safety plugs, cutlery, plates and bowls. The property is close to the swimming pool but far enough away not to be a distraction!

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is cleaned before and after your visit. We provide a bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel for each guest. There is an iron, ironing board and clothes airer/dryer. A hairdryer is provided. For children there is a travel cot, bed guard, high chair, safety plugs and children's cutlery and plates/bowls etc. Tennis rackets and balls and Padel rackets and balls are also provided Golf clubs are available at a small additional charge. Each apartment has a small safe to secure some belongings. Outside: There is a shared swimming pool less than 200 yards from apartment. There is outdoor furniture on the patio areas. The apartments face into a garden area. The 3 bedroom apartment is at ground floor level and the 2 bedroom apartment is accessed via stairs above the ground floor apartment.
