We fell in love with the Algarve 35 years ago and have returned every year and always dreamed of buying a property one day. We are very familiar with the west coast and have seen it develop over the years. When it came to the location we decided on the Eastern Algarve and found that Tavira retained the essence of the real Algarve, a charming historic roman town. We were thrilled to find such a unique luxury private condominium with incredibly spacious accommodation 242 sq mts, including a huge roof terrace with mountain and pool view, with access to the romantic square in the town centre 5 mins away. We have furnished it to a luxury standard and do everything possible to ensure the comfort of our guests. We offer a meet and greet service included and ,additional guest services inc airport transfers and food packs etc

Super town house

Super 11 days in brilliant town house .met on arrival by Lorraine who as others have remarked was very friendly and helpfull.

The house has everything you need for perfect holiday just a few strides and you are in the pool,large roof terrace and only a short walk to the brill tavira lounge and roman bridge .definitely would recommend thanks

Fabulous holiday!

We had a wonderful two week stay from 21 may to 4 June in this apartment. We had been to the complex in 2013 and found it a lovely, quiet and relaxing spot. The grounds are well maintained and the pool lovely. This particular apartment was perfectly located for our family of 5 - mum, dad and boys age 4, 2 and 6 months. The apartment is positioned in front of the kiddies shallow pool which meant the boys could splash in the water, mum and dad could sit in the garden and watch, while listening to baby snoozing in the house! Perfect! Apartment is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. We used the BBQ most nights which was excellent and easy for a young family. Tavira itself is a lovely town. We went out for crepes, sangrias and ice creams, a trip on the tourist train and a wander through the shops. We had a car which was great for big supermarket trips to continente however we only used approx €30 petrol for the whole two weeks so you could manage without as it's only a ten minute journey to walk!! It was a very relaxing holiday and apart from a few trips to the beach and nearby towns, most of the holiday was spent by the pool in the sun! Highly recommend - especially for young families!!

May sunshine

This was a first holiday with our 10 month-old granddaughter and her parents.

The ground-floor townhouse had a small private terrace in front of the grassed area around the swimming pool - a perfect location for sunbathing along with childcare!

The house was cool, well-appointed and had loads of space; a special feature was two top-floor sun terraces providing good views and a lovely situation for evening meals.

The equipment was very good, with top-grade appliances.

The "Meet and Greet" service offered on our arrival was first-class and we felt welcomed and well-briefed on the house, its surroundings in the condominium and the local town Tavira.

We enjoyed several lunches out in Tavira's restaurants where we, and especially our granddaughter, were made very welcome.

I would recommend this property for a super holiday for couples wanting a little luxury as well as a family needing plenty of space and access to a good pool on site.

Excellent home

The house is comfortable and very well-equipped. It is light and airy and with nice surroundings. We had a few problems with the hot water supply but the manager arranged for this to be sorted.

The location is convenient with a nice ten minute walk into town. Going back up the hill is good for a little bit of aerobic exercise.

Town house Tavira

Stayed at Florences town house in the middle of July . Even though we had a flight delay of three hours airport transfer and greeting were faultless .Lorraine had even organised groceries for us because we were so late .

The accommodation was spotless and roof terrace was a great location to eat and sunbathe .Apartment was perfectly positioned for my twelve year old to use the pool which was cleaned on a daily basis.Very relaxing enjoyable holiday .Highly recommend

Tavira is 25 mins from Faro Airport and has all year round low cost flights from UK airports. The climate is mild and boasts approx 300 days of sunshine. It is only 30 mins from the Spanish border and you can drive to Seville in 1hr 30mins. The beaches are superb and there are 5 blue flag beaches. The Ria Formosa is a nature lovers paradise and there are cycle trails and mountain walks. Tavira island offers excellent fish restaurants in a peaceful tranquil setting ,and can be reached by a 5 mins ferry boat or miniature railway crossing. The roman bridge in the town spans the river and there are many varied al fresco restaurants to suite all tastes and budgets.

The wetlands of the Ria Formosa is a paradise for nature lovers. Tavira Island is a 10min ferry ride from Tavira centre This 4km stretch of white sand remains unspoilt and peaceful with cafes,.Cabanas beach is 5 mins by car and a 5 min ferry boat ride .Barril beach is a10 min drive and short walk or mini 5 min train ride over the Ria Formosa wetlands. There are numerous other beaches (5 with prestigious blue flag) to visit in the 24km coastal stretch between Tavira and Monte Gordo.


Faro is the nearest airport.There is a wide range of on-airport car hire available at very competitive rates. Visitors arriving from Faro airport have an easy 30 min motorway drive to the property. Other options include train, bus and taxi. Private transfers are available via local agent and several internet transfer companies.Car hire is recommended but not essential.Taxis are very reasonable in Tavira town centre for short journeys


Tavira town centre is a 5 min walk from the property. The Spanish border towns of Lepe, Ayamonte and Cartaya are 10-20 mins drive away. The fascinating historic city of Seville, no more than 2 hours away, is easily reached by means of the A22 motorway to Spain which is within a few mins drive of the property. The areas to the west including Vilamoura Marina and Albufeira are less than 30 mins drive away. There are several unspoilt inland villages within 10 mins drive.

Further Details:

Tavira can be explored on foot, by miniature train or by horse and carriage. Its range of amenities includes excellent shops, supermarkets, banks, tourist information office, bus station, railway station and ferry station to Tavira Island and boat trips along the Guardiano River. It has a wide selection of riverside bars/cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes both Portuguese and international. The daily market supplies fresh vegetables, fruit and fish.

The romantic square adjoining the Roman bridge spanning the river is the ideal venue for daytime people-watching and, on summer evenings, enjoying a variety of open-air local music festivals in the beautiful Town Square. The area of Monte Gordo offers restaurants as well as a casino complete with nightly shows. Faro Town has a historic quarter, a small marina and Forum Algarve Shopping – a modern shopping mall

Our guests appreciate the convenience of being able to walk into town for bread, daily paper or a morning coffee and explore the town on foot, (you can leave the car in the huge garage). There is a daily food market in town and several large supermarkets nearby. The dual aspect roof terrace has sunny and shaded areas and is equipped with dining table/chairs and barbecue on the poolside terrace for long summer nights dining with friends and family.
