Apartment in Kalkan Centre, Mediterranean, Turkey - Only 5 Minute Walk to the Beach and Harbour

Luxury apartment in a block of three in an excellent location in the centre of Kalkan.Own large private pool and terraces for sole use of the Poolside Apartment. Has sea views and has one double and one twin bedroom. Furnished to a high standard with natural stone floors and one shower room. Fully fitted granite work topped modern kitchen with hob oven and washing machine microwave and dishwasher. You do not need a car with this apartment even in the height of summer as shops and the centre of town are only a two minute walk and the beach/harbour five. There is private parking at the back of the property for those who wish to hire a vehicle. Apartment is spacious light and airy and is fully air-conditioned. Wi fi available on request. Large outside terrace and own private pool . Wooden sunbeds and mattresses, coffee tables and parasols. Outside stone shower unit and barbecue. Please note we are unable to take bookings from groups of teenagers or from families with children under 8 sorry.

About the Owner

My first visit to Kalkan was in May 2005. It was an immediate addiction. Having fallen in love with the town itself, the people and the area I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity of buying Lucy Apartments from an off plan project. They were completed in 2008. As in previous years in 2015 I have many lovely repeat Clients. I have really enjoyed dealing with all my guests and several of the ones I have met have become friends. I want you to feel as soon as you walk through the front door of the apartment that it is completely yours for the period of the rental and will try to do everything possible to ensure that you have a relaxed a really enjoyable stay.

If I am actually in Kalkan during your holiday you will see very little of me but I am always on call should you need a helping hand.

From the moment of being collected from the airport to our return journey, our stay has been nothing but wonderful. The apartment itself is lovely, very clean and has all facilities you may need, not to mention a fabulous pool. Christina, the owner is a joy to deal with and arranged for our collection from the airport, a welcome pack on arrival to include a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge ..... clearly a good start. Kalkan itself is beautiful as are the people. would definitely recommend it and already speaking nicely to hubby to go back again this year. Tina and Grenville

Great location, lovely apartment

2nd year staying at Lucy Apartments & couldn't wish for anything more. Great facilities all round & so near town. Communication with the owner is first class, she does everything to make sure you have a great stay. Will be back thank you!

Kalkan to me is the ideal place to escape from reality. It is like a little peice of Heaven. Once visited it will find a place in your heart and draw you back again and again.

Coast/Beach:

Kalkan is a beautiful small mainly unspoilt fishing village on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. With amazing sea views and many wonderful restaurants offering local Mediterranean food. There is a small pebble beach at Kalkan and several luxurious private beach clubs. However if you are looking for long unspoilt sandy beaches then Patara is only a 20 minute drive away with 12kms of coast line. Kaputas beach is on the Kas road 10 minutes drive to island views and turquoise blue waters.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Dalaman which is 1 1/2 hours away or Antalya which is 3 hours drive. We can arrange transfers for you at reasonable prices. Car hire is easily obtainable from both airports and the drive is easy in both directions to Kalkan.

Distances:

Kas is a 25 minute drive away. A working harbour town and full of restaurants and interesting shops. Fethiye with it's famous Tuesday market is 1 hours drive away and is an interesting town to explore. There are many archaelogical ruins within 1 hours drive from Kalkan, Patara, Xanthos, Tlos, Letoon to mention just a few. The Taurus mountains are also of great interest with small villages and spectacular scenery.

Further Details:

The apartments are within close walking distance to two supermarkets, a green grocer and two butchers and many many restaurants. There are several banks in Kalkan and all have money machines. Not to mention all the boutique shops and cafes. Hiring a boat here for the day is easy just go down to the harbour in the evenings. There are many health spa's here now offering a wide range of treatments in season. For those who love walking although we would recommend the cooler season, there is the famous Lycian way. Paragliding is possible and horse riding on Patara the list is endless.

Booking Notes:
A non refundable deposit of 50% is required at time of booking with the final payment due 8 weeks before departure. We require a £100 deposit against damage or breakages and this will be returned at the end of your stay. All bookings include a welcome pack to get you started any special requirements please just let us know. The pool and terraces are cleaned daily and the apartments are cleaned weekly with a weekly linen and towel change which is included. Further cleaning requirements available on request.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is Monday to Monday. Arrival time at the apartments is 3pm and departure time 11am, although we will be flexible where ever possible.

Lucy Apartments benefit from being in a Residential area of Central Kalkan but still literally only two minutes walk from the main roundabout leading directly into town. Very centrally located with simple but luxurious furnishings and is well equipped. Free Wi Fi is readily available so no having to trek down to an internet cafe. It is a small block of only three apartments with a good size pool and has sea views from every level. No having to climb mountain goat tracks in the Hot Summer Sun or paying out for expensive taxi's. Leaving you more time to relax and enjoy a cool drink beside the pool. Close to all local amenities. The english management team are excellent and are always on hand to help with any questions or queries you may have.

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartments are very luxurious. They are in a small block of just three with the Pool Side apartment having exclusive sole use of the large private pool and terraces. This means you will not have to share the pool with anyone else ! The outside accommodation is very spacious and there is a barbecue for those who wish to take a break from the many wonderful restaurants in Kalkan. Outside: The outside area is furnished with wooden sunbeds and mattresses, coffee tables and parasols. It also offers a stone shower area. It is large and spacious with the pool and terraces being cleaned daily. There is a washing line discreetly hidden down the side of the property which is not visible from the front but a useful addition. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and Bath Towels included. Weekly change. SORRY WE DO NOT PROVIDE BEACH TOWELS. Other: Fully air-conditioned throughout. This apartment benefits from leading directly onto the sun terraces and pool giving extra outside living accommodation and a feeling of even more space.
