About David Henderson

I am a self employed health professional,married with 4 grown up children, living in Northern Ireland. We have owned this property from new in 2001 and never tire of spending our holidays there. As our own expectations are high we ensure that the apartment is maintained to a high standard for both our own use and also our rental clients. We chose the Algarve because of the quality of the environment,the beaches, golf courses, safe cycling and the fresh food and great restaurants. The area is uncrowded even in summertime. The Portuguese people are very friendly and have always made us feel welcome. It really is a second home.

Outside: New sun patio constructed end of 2008. New sun loungers. New planting scheme around patio. Outdoor dining table and 6 chairs. Sun umbrella. The pool is attended during the peak holiday seasons. Utility Room: Iron and ironing board, clothes horse. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service three times a week, or more frequently can be arranged. Bed linen changed once a week, towels twice a week. Pool towels are provided. Other: Hallway.

From 1st January 2016 I will be registered with the Portuguese authorities as a provider of holiday accommodation. This is new legislation which was enacted to improve the standards of properties which are offered to holiday makers. I am registered with the Camara de Loule, my Alojamento Local registration number is 19518/AL. As a result of this I now have to charge VAT at the rate of 6%. This is included in the quoted rental rates for the apartment.


Changeover Day:
Flexible but Sunday check ins will incur an extra charge. Arrival time, if occupied, after 4pm and departure by 10am but this can be flexible.
