This property is a short walk away from the main attractions and a further short walk from the Mar Menor with it's warm/shallow waters. The area is ideal for both families with children and for young couples. It has attractions to cover all. The property is relatively new and is in excellent order. We aim to please and have given it a 'home from home' feel. The rooms are very spacious and have all the facilities you will require. The local village which is still very Spanish is also nearby so you can have the best of both worlds. It is truly an excellent area, and one which I am sure you will return to year after year, once you have spent some time enjoying the area, and the Mar Menor. There is also the 2 main cities nearby Murcia and Cartegena which must be seen before you leave. They are excellent for the culture and shopping. About The Owner

We are in our 50's but a young couple that love getting away from it all and bought our property in Los Alcazares with this in mind.

We love Los Alcazares because of its ability to help you "chill" and "relax. We always come away ready to take on whatever life throws at us after our holiday.

However, we now have 4 lovely dogs, Dennis, Daisy, Smudge and Stanley so we do not get to use the property as often as we would like so we thought we would let you get the benefit of our Spanish home.

We have lovingly updated the property each year so it is always kept maintained and has all modcons to ensure that you have the best holiday possible whilst you stay at our home.

We know that you will enjoy it as much as we do as we have made improvements to our home with you in mind.

Why The Owner chose Los Alcázares

We fell in love with Los Alcazares whilst looking for a property in the Costa Blanca area.

The Mar Menor was breath-taking and something we knew we would love to come back to see year after year which is why we decided to buy in the area.

The property was just the "icing on the cake" when we viewed it. It is ideally located near the square, but close to the old part of Los Alcazares and within walking distance (5 minutes) from the Mar Menor - bliss!

It is also far enough away to be peaceful and enjoy a nice glass of wine outside without seeing or hearing anyone unless you want to. Choice is yours.

We love it!

What makes this house unique

Our property is excellently located being near all the amenities at both the English and Spanish sides and only a short walk away from the beach. There is no need for a car unless you want to see the two historical cities of Murcia and Cartegena respectively, which are well worth a visit. You can go by the local bus service if you are adventurous enough.

Our property is kept up-to-date year on year as we believe that our customers should have the best for their stay whilst in our home.

Our home has 3 bedrooms and the most up-to-date furniture with a roof terrace for the extra rays on an evening and also benefits from a patio at the front for lazying away the evenings with a glass of wine.

The house also benefits from a small park at the front so no one looking in on you.

Notes on accommodation: We have air conditioning at the property when the heat gets too much. The pool is excellent and well worth visiting. It is used for the complex residents only and as the complex is only small it is always kept clean and tidy, and is set in really secure, pretty, and well established gardens. Outside: Outside to the front of the property we have a secluded patio area which is private and has a table, chairs and a parasol. This is a real sun trap. The pool area is for sole use of the complex only and is very well kept, in excellent surroundings with mature shrubs and trees and a large pool plus a smaller one for the kids. There is also a roof terrace on the property should you still wish to enjoy the early evening sunset. This is also very private. To the front of the property there is a small parkland area which can be used for the children or a quiet moment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We have towels and linen at the property. These are cleaned weekly and there is a small extra charge for cleaning - please ask for details Other: We also have a roof terrace on the top floor which has excellent views of the area. There is also an area in the front to catch those late day/early evening rays should you need some more following the day at the beach.

Nicht der Hammer aber für 14 Tage in Ordnung gewesen

Auf den ersten Eindruck war alles super. Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und einem Schlafzimmer oben, bequemes Sofa, Küche alles da etc

Auf dem 2. Blick war es sehr unsauber die Klimaanlage wurde noch nie abgeputzt und war schimmelig, überall noch Kalk und Haare es wurde nur überall grob drüber geputzt was sehr schade ist da das Haus an sich echt super ist. Buggy und Spielsachen für Kleinkinder sind sogar da. Alles in allem war es OK aber nicht der Hit, beim nächsten Mal würden wir eine andere Gegend buchen da der Strand dort auch sehr unsauber ist.

Perfect holiday for all of my family!

We've just had the best holiday! My teenage sons came with us and had a great time on the beach during the day and in the bars at night! The villa is perfect with everything you need, very comfortable and clean. The pool area is beautiful, immaculately kept. The location is perfect, you do not need a car, everything is within a pleasant walk. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants and the resort has a lovely safe, and very traditional Spanish feel.

Ideal for couples, children and teenagers. We will definately book this villa again!

Fantastic Holiday

My friends and I spent a fabulous week here in September. We had not visited this area of Spain before and had no idea what to expect. We had a wonderful time!

The house is in a quiet residential location, comfortably furnished, very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, the TV had English channels, and the air conditioning was very welcome at times. The front garden was a real sun trap and was quite private, and the roof terrace was very private and lovely for sun bathing in the late afternoon. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious.

The pool area was very clean and well maintained and the pool itself was lovely. It was also quiet and relaxing. The house is probably a 10/15 minute stroll to the beach. There are plenty of bars and shops about 10 minutes walk away, there are 3 or 4 supermarkets to choose from within walking distance.

It would have been nice to have another set of keys as a key is needed to get in and out of the pool area, so it was a bit of a pain if we wanted to go to different places. We also expected the bicycles to be at the house and didn’t realise we had to ask for them to be there before we went.

I would definitely recommend this lovely house and really hope we can return next year. Thank you Silvia for sharing your home.

Highly Recommended

Family 2 Adults 2 children aged 12 and 15. We loved this home from home, everything that we wanted from a holiday home, very clean, tidy and everything was a very high standard. The pool and gardens were immaculate, not to busy around the pool (August) and plenty of room for everyone. Local shops and supermarkets very good (the fish counter in the Mercadina is an experience) !!. We felt very safe in the local area, a trip to La Manga beach to visit the best cocktail maker in spain is highly recommended ! All in all a great holiday and thank you..............Have just e mailed the owner for next year and that's the first time ever we have wanted to return to the same place.

Great holiday

This is a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed all aspects of this holiday because the property was ideal for our needs, the location is very good, and the facilities and restaurants are all better than average. The local supermarkets have excellent produce which we found to be inexpensive. Also, the restaurants are reasonably priced.

We went between Christmas and New Year, and although it was fairly quiet, most places were open and there was plenty to do. The nearby cities of Murcia and Cartagena in particular are definitely worth visiting.

Overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend the property and the location to our family and friends.

The beach of the Mar Menor is only a short walk away. This is excellent for children and adults alike as it has shallow waters which can be enjoyed by children as it is safe and the water sports for the adults.

The beach stretches for some 5 miles which also has a promenade running alongside the full length (some rollerbladers, cyclists, joggers can be found here). This is dotted with beach bars (chuiringuito's) should you require refreshments.


The nearest airports are San Javier (local) and Alicante which is approximately 60 miles. Either airport is excellent in terms of travel and our property can be reached easily from either. We have someone who can pick you up so give us a call and we can organise for you.

Should you require car hire whilst you are visiting the area, there are numerous car hire companies in the area that will can have a car waiting at the airport.


The property stands in the spanish town of Los Alcazares enjoying a central position close to all amenities, i.e. Supermarkets, restaurants, banks, etc and the beach. The ancient Roman city of Categena is 10 mins by car. The state capital city Murcia is 20 mins by car. All must be seen if you visit. They can also be reached by local bus which is an experience but easily done. Again if you need any information and you are up for a challenge, give us a call and we will help.

Further Details:

The main square at Los Narejos has a large selection of restaurants from Indian to English and there is a selection of bars. The choice of bars are yours, from typical Spanish to Irish.

The local supermarket is a short walk away - Mercadonna. The local banks - Halifax/Sol/etc are also a short walk away. The local shops/restaurants are short walk away.

There is also the old town of Los Alcazares with its quaint church and marina plus tapas bar/restaurants.

The Sunday markets are held weekly and the local market is held every Tuesday which are well worth a visit.
