About Barry Stockwell

We are a young at heart 50 something couple that reside in the UK with our daughter, and like to spend as much time in Spain as we can. We really feel at home here, and have made many good friends. Unfortunately, work commitments stop us enjoying this as much as we'd like, and we're happy to share our beautiful apartment with people that will appreciate it.

Why Barry Stockwell chose Marbella area

We bought our apartment after I visited the area for a business conference and fell in love with the vibe and lifestyle of the place. The Costa boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year and it's fantastic to wake up with the sun flooding in from the terrace. The location is perfect, being far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Puerto Banus to be peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to the port, it's world class marina, beaches, and superb range of bars, restaurants, clubs & shopping. The garden extends the already sizeable terrace space, which is ideal for children & adults alike. Finally, we're only 30 mins from Malaga airport, which is just 2 1/2 hours from the UK, as well as being convenient for continental Europe, with plenty of cheap flights readily available. There really is something for everyone !

What makes this apartment unique

Location, location, location !! A gated community with good security, lovely shared pool which rarely gets too busy, but usually finds enough friends for the kids to play with, letting you relax in peace. Spacious apartment, with added benefit of hot tub on large terrace, ideal for outdoor living. Underground parking and lift access to apartment. Beautifully maintained gardens and wonderful sea views. Close to beaches and all the excitement of Puerto Banus, just a 15 minute walk, or short drive/taxi ride away.

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Nearest beach is 5 minutes by car, or 20 minutes on foot. There are numerous beaches in the area, including popular upmarket beach clubs like the Ocean Club, Sala Beach, Mistral Beach, and Nikki Beach, all boasting restaurants, bars and often live DJ's. There are also plenty of public beaches with great Chiringuitos providing lunch, snacks and refreshments, as well as reasonably priced sun beds for hire.

Travel:

The apartment is 45 minutes or less from Malaga Airport (much the same from Gibraltar). Car hire is recommended for the area, and is available at reasonable prices from the Airport, but not essential. Taxis, private transfers and public transport are also available from the Airports. We can also provide quotes for competitively priced private transfers upon request.

Beaches 2km, Golf 2km, Tennis 0.25km, Popular Saturday market 1.25km, Marbella Casino 1km, Bank 1km, Taxi rank (at Andalucia Plaza Hotel) 1km, Supermarket 1km, Puerto Banus 1km, Marbella 6km, San Pedro 3km, Malaga 40km, Gibraltar 45km.

Further Details:

Good selection of local restaurants in the nearby village of La Campania just 1km away (walking distance) and in the Andalucia Plaza Hotel area. The jet-set town of Puerto Banus is less than 2km away (a 20 min walk or 5 min taxi ride), with its designer shops, bars, restaurants & night clubs.

The large terrace sees beautiful afternoon and late evening sunshine, and is ideal for a relaxing evening. The hot tub/jacuzzi can seat 4 people comfortably. The garden area is ideal for children and playing games, or just lounging around on one of the 6 comfortable sun beds. The shared pool with loungers and sun shades is only a short stroll away from the apartment and manned by a life guard during high season. Utility Room: washing machine & tumble dryer, iron & ironing board, drying rack, pool toys, cool box (cooling blocks in freezer). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen & towels are provided. Apartment is professionally cleaned prior to arrival. Additional cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. Great Apartment !!!

We had a great stay at this apartment, there was everything you could possibly need, great location only 5 mins in a taxi to Banus & Estepona, but far enough away to relax in a picturesque quite setting,the owners were great to deal with from start to finish and gave us a lot of helpful information, our two boys loved the hot tub & pool, we would highly recommend this apartment me and my family really enjoyed it, and will definitely return in the near future.

Fabulous apartment! Close enough to walk to the beach and the port. Lovely and spacious with all amenities, including one of the fastest internet connections we have had on a holiday! Very easy to locate from the motorway and the owner emailed a really helpful set of directions with a list of restaurants and beaches for the area. Maureen and Colin on site are very helpful with any queries and recommendations. We would definitely recommend to friends and family :))

Booking Notes. Keys will be handed over and collected by our representative in the resort. Please note that we don't take bookings from young groups without assurances and strictly NO stag or Hen parties !! A €200 deposit will be taken on arrival in case of damages which will be returned upon departure

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is usually Saturday, with arrival no earlier than 2pm. Please enquire for other changeover days. The apartment must be vacated by 10am on day of departure to allow for cleaning. This may be flexible, depending on other bookings (please enquire). Long weekends/short breaks may also be available at less busy times of the year - please enquire
