New (2008) luxury 48sq.m apartment situated on turn 1 of the 21 turns offering magnificent mountain views. Ideally situated for those who wish to take full advantage of winter and summer sports and then return to the quiet location of the old town of Alpe D'Huez. Parking space available.

Why Sheila Webb chose Huez

Alpe D Huez is a wonderful all year round location offering outdoor sports in both winter and summer - including the awe inspiring Tour De France. The best bit for Sheila is the skiing. She learnt to ski here two years ago on the very forgiving nursery slopes - and, of course, the ski season here lasts for approximately five months of the year. So, all we needed was the perfect apartment and we found it in Chalet Oie.

What makes this apartment unique

As soon as the shutters are raised you will be overwhelmed (as we still are) by the magnificent view. It is breathtaking to see the cloud rise from Bourg D'Oisans, making you feel that you are on top of the world.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Alpe d'Huez is the best area in its class for biking or walking whether you prefer mountain or road. Use the apartment as a base camp to plan your route, or just try world famous Tour de France 21 turns.

Travel:

Grenoble is the closest airport, approx one hour away by car. Lyon and Geneva airports are approx two and three hours journey respectively.

Distances:

We are a few minutes walk from town, but far enough away not to be affected by the bars. Closest supermarket is within 5 minutes walk.

Further Details:

Please contact the owner should you require weblink addresses for activities offered by this great resort. Bank, supermarkets, bars, restaurants are all on hand and there is no need to use a car to go out in the day or evening.

A 20% non refundable deposit is required within one week of booking to confirm reservation. The balance is to be paid eight weeks prior to commencement of your holiday, a damage deposit of £200 must be paid in resort and which will be refunded in full (subject to damage and inventory check) within 10 days of your return.

Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Saturday.
