Large south facing Apartment with spectacular views over the sea, beach and open countryside. Large private terrace - ideal for sunbathing, outside dining and BBQ's. Only a 10 minute leisurely walk down to the beach of soft fine sand, with a gently shelving bay. Sunbeds and pedalos can be hired at the beach. Adjacent to the beach are 2 bars/restaurants and a general shop. The town of Calan Porter is a level 10 minute walk away, you will find an extensive range of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Only 700m away is a swimming pool complex of 3 pools for all ages complete with bar and restaurant area. The apartment is in a unique peaceful location with the advantage of all local amenities only 10 minutes walk away.

When we first saw the pictures of this apartment we thought it couldn't really be that good - we were oh so wrong! The views from the apartment balconey are truly outstanding, the beach really is that white and the sea really is that blue :) The resort is very laid back with plent of eating, drinking and entertainment, although if your looking for "all nighters" be warned everything usually stops around midninght! The beach is fantastic. very clean with crystal blue water. There a couple of resteraunts along the beach which serve great food all day and you can hire sun longers if you want. The apartment is well equipped and very clean, you wont be disapponited. Eating out on the terrace with thoses fantastic veiws is a real treat and the terrace is hudge! Getting from the airport is a dodle, you can take a taxi for around 20 euro or take the bus for less than 5! The bus stop is literally a couple of mins from the apartment and the bus drivers are so helpful you wont get lost :) We had a truly fantastic time and would highly reccomend both the resort and the apartment to anyone thinking of kicking back and relaxing in the Med sun...
I stayed here for a week with my family for my mother in laws birthday. We had an excellent time. The views are amazing so we spent a lot of time on the large terrace. The apartment is located not far from the centre and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. My only criticism of the apartment is the lack of air conditioning. In the height of summer it was extremely hot and the fans provided didn't cool it down much. Other than this I would recommend a stay in this apartment .
Waking up to the sound of the calming sea in this cosy and simple apartment overlooking the waters and untouched cliff of this town was wonderful. The steps down to the entrance are just right to feel secluded and the location is far enough away from the relatively busier side of Cala'n Porter yet close enough for a scenic walk there. The steps will not be a challenge for anyone over 5-6 and are well worth the small effort to be in this location.
My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Menorca last summer and had a wonderful stay at Chris's apartment.
The views are to die for from the large and well equipped balcony (sun loungers, BBQ, table & chairs etc) and we found everything we needed to cook dinner in the kitchen.
It's a short stroll into town for a drink and dinner and the beach is fantastic for a swim and snorkel.
If exploring the coast on wonderful rural paths by foot (hiking or trail running) is your thing then you're in luck, as the apartment is right on the Camis de Cavalls trail.
The locals in town were friendly and helpful and Menorca as a whole was a wonderful place to holiday.
We had a wonderful time in Menorca using this fabulously located apartment as our base. Its basic but beautiful with amazing views from its substantial terrace. The weather seems to get better every year in Menorca later in the season and this is an ideal appartment for couples. Pleanty of steps so maybe not great for the oldies but you would find it difficult to get better value for money. A short 5 minute walk into town a great beach and only a 15 minute drive from the airport. I have stayed in lots of different Menorca properties and this is top one. Give it a go, you wont regret it!!!! Thanks Chris. Maybe we can squeeze in another short break next year.

Menorca is ideal for walking with the signed Cami De Cavalls providing scenic walking paths close to the coast around the island.
A 10 minute walk leads you down to a beautiful safe sandy beach where you can hire sun loungers, umbrellas and pedalos, there are two restaurants/bars, small shop where you can buy ice-creams, lilos, beach toys and postcards. The beach is lovely and safe for all ages.
Mahon airport is a 15 min drive away. You can hire a car (I can suggest a car hire company) and pick it up from the airport or you can get a taxi outside the arrivals terminal. You do not need to hire a car for getting around Calan Porter, but if you wish to see the beautiful island and lovely beaches then I would advise you to hire a car.
There are buses that go into Mahon daily.
To walk to the centre of Calan Porter will take you a leisurely 10 minutes.
Calan Porter has supermarkets (with free delivery), Bank, Foreign Exchange, Chemist, Selection of lovely restaurants and bars that suit everybody(some have swimming pools adjacent that you can use), car hire. There is a market in the main square twice a week.
