Casa Tulipa Rosa is an old farmhouse of approximately 200 years old which was recently renovated completely. It offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the good Piedmontese food, wine and climate with family and friends. With it's 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms the house offers ten places to sleep and a fantastic view from the house and the private pool. It is 2 minutes to the nearest excellent restaurant. Within 5 minutes, one is in Acqui Terme which has supermarkets, speciality shops and a medieval centre with excellent restaurants. The house is ideal for the summer but also offers with the several terraces and the things the Piemont offers (wine, restaurants, culture, old villages, 45 minutes to Liguria) the ideal place for enjoying Italy for a week during Spring or Autumn.

About the Owner

We discovered the Piemont 10 years ago and put our love for the Piemont finally into restoring this beautiful old farm house. After 2 years of hard work we now can enjoy our own place in the Piemont. Enjoy the views, the house, the pool and of course all the beautiful things the Piemont has.

The Piemonte offers not only great things for Summer but also for Spring and Autumn. Go wine tasting, visit the beautiful cities and small villages, go to truffel markets or visit Ligurian coast in Spring. On our website you find our favourite restaurants, things to do and info on the markets and antique markets in the region.

Location

From the Owner

The area is our favorite part of Italy, it is pure and still the real Italy. It has great wines, great food, great and friendly people and lovely weather. Four seasons with all of them having typical seasonal dishes that fit the top Piemont wines. Our house has the best of both worlds, close to restaurants and the beautiful city Acqui Terme but in a quiet spot with beautiful views and deers in the field in the morning.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

50km / approx 30 miles to the beautiful Ligurian coast. This is approx 45 minutes to 1 hours drive by car.

Travel:

1 hour from Genova. 1.5 hour from Milan. 1 hour from Torino.

Distances:

Acqui Terme is 1.5 mile. Nearby are several good restaurants in Cavatore and Acqui. Asti is 20 mile. Alba is 30 mile.

Further Details:

Acqui Terme has a number of large supermarkets in all categories. In addition, there are a number of speciality shops and good shopping and local market (twice a week) in the old city center. A bakery and butcher are in between the city centre and the house (5 minutes). Alternatively one can make a scenic walk to Melazzo where also a bakery/small grocery shop is (30 to 45 minutes)

Booking Notes:
Payment is required prior to the rental period: 40% of the amount needs to be paid upon reservation of the house, the other 60% needs to be paid 8 weeks prior to the rental period. At the end of the rental period the house needs to be left in proper state, cleaned with brush and dishcloth. At arrival a 500 euro deposit needs to be provided in cash.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. The house needs to be left by latest 10am. THe house is available as of 4pm.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The house sleeps 10 plus a baby and a young child. It is an excellent place for 2 families with a lot of space in the house and around the house. The house has been furnished with local antiques furniture combined with comfortable couches and a modern well equipped kitchen. It has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 separate toilet. The master bedroom has a small balcony overseeing the valley. The whole house has floor heating, a car park for 2 cars and in total allows for parking 4 cars. The terrace in front of the kitchen is open but covered by a roof and allows for lunch and dinner outside (seats 10) while being protected from the sun. It has beautiful views into the valley and on clear days one can see the French/Italian and Swiss/Italian Alps. On the terrace there is a barbeque available. Outside: The property has 15.000 square meter (approx 130.000 square foot) of land allowing children to play in the forrest and on the fields. The private swimming pool is 10x5m (33 foot by 16 foot) and a nice area around it with 10 chairs for relaxing and for those who want to catch a nice tan. Utility Room: Washing machine, sink and equipment to use for drying the clean wash outside, BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen available. Towels for swimming pool 10 available. Normal cleaning of the house is required upon departure. Other: Cantina, 2 terraces and private swimmingpool available. Also a beautiful 2 century old wine cellar with vaulted ceilings for a late afternoon glass of wine.
