Enjoy one of the high points of Tavira in one of the new residential developments within walking distance of the town centre and local restaurants. This new apartment is located on the top floor of a four storey building with an elevator and a CCTV security door entry system. The views from the private roof terrace (approx 95 square metres) are breathtaking. Sun loungers, table and chairs are available in order to enjoy sunbathing, dining al fresco and the beautiful sunsets. In addition to the large roof terrace there are also two balconies one of which is south facing. The apartment is furnished to an extremely high standard with some unique features. The apartment is composed of a hallway leading through double doors to the sitting room/dining area with panoramic views over the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve.

"First class apartment and location"



Gorgeous apartment with absolutely everything to make it a home from home. The description in the listing is spot on but probably doesn't quite do it justice! Lovely large living/dining room with a good size balcony with fantastic views out towards the sea. A proper fully equipped kitchen, with another small balcony and every utensil/ bit of equipment you would ever need. The bedrooms are a good size and the en suite and family shower room are gorgeous. But the absolute winner is the private roof terrace. It is huge with amazing views all around. Perfect for lounging in the sun, dining or just sipping wine watching the fantastic sunsets. The location is in a lovely quiet residential area. It is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Tavira and worth exploring different routes to find the many lovely pastelaria for coffee and cake on the way.

we were met at the apartment on our first day by Paul and Julie who showed us around this beautiful apartment. .. we loved it at first sight , very clean ,really spacious and the balconies were brilliant . One off the kitchen and a bigger one off the living room ... The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need home from home ... A welcome gift of wine , some beers , bread and milk.. meant we could chill out straight away. .. The sun roof which is easy accessed is stunning , great place to look at the stars at night. .

It took about 15 minster or so to walk down to the charming town of Tavira, great restaurants , bars. . supermarket very close by , and beautiful beaches ... we loved this apartment and would love to go back again.

Jacqueline , the owner ,phoned us before we went and when we returned ,which was so lovely and personal. .Would definitely recommend this apartment .

Exactly what it says on the tin!

Photos do not do it justice. Clean and well maintained with everything you need and plenty of room. 6 of us stayed here very comfortably. Felt like your own home rather than a holiday let. Near to Tavira and taxi only 5 euros if you don't want to walk. Jaqueline the owner was lovely and made sure we had all information before arrival. Paul and his wife who checked us in were great and very approachable should you have a problem and very knowledgable about the local area. Lots of information in the appartment regarding places to visit. Roof terrace an absolute bonus. Will stay here again - didn't want to come home!

Excellent apartment

Lovely apartment, clean, spacious and well equipped. Ten minute or so walk into the centre of Tavira.Two balconies to catch the sun and a large roof terrace with excellent views. Helpful and friendly owners who suggested places to visit and good restaurants. Would recommend, great value!

Great apartment, great holiday

This apartment was a real find. Spacious rooms and functional kitchen with a huge roof top space. The town of Tavira was a short walk away and is a very pretty place. It was our main family holiday and a most memorable one. This is a highly recommended apartment, holiday location and the owners were no problem to deal with. Their neighbours were also super helpful. Hire a car and explore the super beaches.

Wonderful apartment, nice location

We stayed in the apartment with our 3 children on their first holiday abroad and it couldn't have been more suitable. The apartment was clean, modern and left us wanting for nothing. The front balcony caught the morning sun (breakfast!) and the stunning roof terrace provided all day sunshine and spectacular views - plus star gazing peace at night. Ideal for self catering but also not too far from amenities. The owners are incredibly friendly and informative and there is plenty of information in the apartment about the local area. We were met on arrival by the local key holders who were also very friendly and informative and offered help during our stay should we need it. Tavira is a lovely town and not as commercial as the Western Algarve. The ferry to Il de Tavira beach was a lovely day out although there are lots of others to choose from including Manta Rota and Barril. The apartment is a 20 minute walk into town and our 6 year old managed it easily. Spotting the geckos enroute at night was good fun! Plenty of good places to eat, our 12 year old liked the Tavira Lounge the best - Tapas bar near the Roman bridge (see Trip advisor). We would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Tavira is a beautiful town that still feels Portuguese even with all the tourists. . Everyone is so friendly and relaxed. We loved it!

The apartment owner was extremely helpful. Even phoned and texted to make sure we were OK when she heard that there had been a power cut ( which thankfully we hadn't been affected by).

We have stayed in many apartments in many countries over many years and we certainly rate this as one of the best ever!

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Manta Rota, Barril Beach and Tavira Island (by ferry) are all easily accessible by a short car journey. These beaches were awarded a blue flag for their safe bathing. For those who are more adventurous, can travel further afield to the Spanish beaches. Isla Canela is highly worth a visit.

Travel:

Sample the Spanish tapas and paella in Ayamonte, a short drive or boat ride away. Seville is two hours away should you wish to explore the rich historic town, grand architecture and designer boutiques.

Further Details:

There is a supermarket conveniently located 5 minutes away. Tavira has a local market in the town centre which sells freshly caught fish, and fruit and vegetables which are all grown locally. There are numerous cafes and restaurants to choose from all specialising in local dishes from the region.
