Lovely apartment very close to the City Express Ski Lift and Town

2 Bedrooms 1 Bathroom Can sleep 6 plus a cot (Provided)for a baby

• Kitchen • Fully equipped with toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer , Cooker , very well equiped to include a George Forman Grill and Slow Cooker .

Lounge/Diner very comfortable leather settees , coffee table ,unit with at least 50 plus DVDs ,TV plus DVD player . The dinning table seats 6 and looks out to the stunning mountain views .The Lounge also has a large cupborad which holds a pull down double murphy bed with a thick memory foam mattress . The balcony its set up for 4 people and lovely for having breakfast on in Summer ,

The main bedroom has a double bed also with memory foam mattress , wardrobe /drawers /tv and DVD .

The small bunk room holds a set of adult size bunk beds with memory foam mattress/ wardrobe and drawers

New Bathroom in 2017 has a bath with overhead shower , washbasin with cupboard and there is a seperate WC .

Lots of extra storage and hanging space for Ski's and Outdoor clothes in the Hallway .

The apartment is next door to the indoor Ice Skating Rink and indoor Swimming pool in Zell which is very handy after a hard days skiing and to keep the children entertained

We searched for over 2 years to find the perfect apartment for what we wanted and as soon as we walked into this one we knew it was for us. We are a family with 2 grown up children who have both skied for 19 years in Europe and America / Canada who have found Zell am See the place for us, especially with the addition of three grandchildren. We have furnished the apartment so that it feels comfortable and homely with lots of little extras you wouldn't normally expect from a rental property. My husband loves cooking so as you can imagine the kitchen is very well equipped. Each time we visit we take more videos/games/books with us and apparently have got one of our clients hooked on monopoly. We were pleased to discover that we loved Zell just as much in Summer and can't wait for June.

Why Susan Haworth chose Zell am See

We loved skiing in Zell but were advised to look at resorts during the summer if we were to use it as a family holiday place as some resorts are not very pretty or not very much to do once the ski season is over . So we spent a summer holiday driving around different resorts and came across Zell am See with its beautiful lake and all the events and activities taking palce during the Summer . That was it , we fell in love with the resort and spent 2 years trying to find the right place to buy .

Close to all amenities including the town with fabulous restaurants ,close to the ski lifts making it easy to walk to them .

An English and Austrian speaking Management team who take great care of our apartment and guests providing a meet and greet service , showing you how everything works.

All the little extras we leave in the apartment which our family use ,its not just a rental apartment .

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is excellent for all ages, families and couples alike and is in the perfect position to suit your taste in entertainment. You can have quiet evening or stroll into Zell am See to eat in the numerous restaurants and bars. With the Leisure complex next to us you have the added bonus of the large swimming pool, slide, diving board, steam room, sauna and ice skating rink where the Zell am See national league side play ice hockey. Outside: The apartment has its own private parking which makes it easy for loading and unloading. Utility Room: Cleaning equipment. iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and the apartment will be cleaned at the beginning and end of your stay. There will be a £60 charge for cleaning. Other: There is a communal basement storeroom for Ski's and bikes. Plus a washing room with washing machine and dryer.

Great location

Zell am See town has great nite life, good restaurants and plenty good bars.

Skiing lifts only 4 min of walk from apartment. If you willing to drive 20 min away there is Glacier at 2926m high with plenty of snow all year around!!!

Definitely recommended place to stay.

Clean and comfortable in a fantastic location, just 5 minutes walk from the gondola and the centre.

Car: not necessary


The apartment is 3 minutes walk to the open air bathing area on the bank of the lake. Not only do you have the crystal clear water of the lake there is also a large pool with slides and other recreational facilities.


The nearest airport is Salzburg which is only 88km (56 miles) from Zell am See and takes approximately 70 minutes by car. You can travel by train from Salzburg, by taking the bus to the train station (15 mins), and then take the train to the Centre of Zell am See where you can either walk 12 mins or catch a taxi. A taxi from the airport to the apartment would cost in the region of 120 euro's for up to 8 passengers.


The apartment is 4 minutes walk to the Centre of Zell am See Town. The leisure centre is next door. The city express ski lift is 3 minutes walk away. The nearest shop is 2 minutes away.

Further Details:

The tourist information Centre in Zell am See has numerous maps and useful tips for walks in the national park whose ski lifts are also open during the Summer months. At the base of the City Express lift you can purchase your ski pass and any equipment you need to hire. The bank/cash machine is in the Centre of Zell am See. There are numerous restaurants from Pizza/Pasta to typical Austrian food and the only Chinese restaurant in Zell just on the main road. All important telephone numbers are left in the apartment ie hospital, chemist, emergency contact for the apartment.

There will be a deposit of 200 euros on booking which is non refundable. Full payment will be required 6 weeks prior to arrival.
