Apartment in Muo, Kotor Bay, Montenegro - Satellite TV and Internet Access

This spacious apartment, which is the largest of the six apartments in the building, is located on the waterfront and only a 10 min walk to the historic old town of Kotor. It has been completely renovated and refurbished, including full air-conditioning, wireless internet and satellite plasma TV. It is located on the prime second (top) floor of a traditional stone house which affords spectacular views over Kotor Bay. There is also a secluded rear balcony for alfresco dining or peaceful evening drinks. Parking space is available to the front by the water's edge and Tivat Airport is only a 15 minute drive away. The Old Town is a UNESCO world heritage site with a spectacular fortification wall which surrounds it and is lit up at night. It has many churches and monasteries within its walls but also offers all the comforts of a modern city with restaurants, bars, internet cafes and ATMs. The excellent beaches of the Budva Riviera are less than 30 minutes away.

Tastefully equipped apartment with glorious views

The apartment was a great base for exploring beautiful Montenegro and a wonderful place to stay. There was free parking right opposite and the apartment had proper cotton sheets, big towels, sharp knives and a decent oven and fridge freezer - though we only had breakfast there as Kotor was just a short walk away and full of great and reasonably priced restaurants. It was baking hot in Montenegro when we were there so the air-conditioning was very welcome. Highly recommended!

The coast is 295km long with 72km of beaches. The nearest pebble beach in Kotor Bay is immediately to the front of the apartment, and there are many excellent sandy beaches on the Budva Riviera, less than 30 minutes drive away.


International Airports: Tivat, Montenegro 5km, Podgorica, Montenegro 65km, Cilipi near Dubrovnik, Croatia 70km. Car hire can be arranged at Tivat or Dubrovnik.


Muo is a 10 minute walk to the heart of the Old Town in Kotor. The ancient small town of Perast and its islets is a 30 minute drive. Along the coast heading south is the well preserved Old Town of Budva and Sveti Stefan, both of which are less than 1 hour drive.

Further Details:

The local currency is the euro. There are plenty of banks and ATMs where currency can be changed and also many shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Local seafood is excellent and mussels which are farmed in Kotor Bay are an added bonus! There are also many excellent walking trails nearby.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required on booking and final payment must be made at least 4 weeks prior to arrival date. In addition a breakage/damage deposit of 100 euros (refundable within two weeks of your departure) is to be paid to our local English speaking resident Anka, who will show you the apartment, and will be on hand to give you any tips or help that you may need to make your stay in Montenegro even more special.

Tourist tax is payable on arrival. This 0.80 euro cents per day for adults and 0.40 euro cents per day for children aged 12-18. Anka, our representative can arrange payment on your behalf.
