This is a super Apartment set in a quiet location. It has fantastic views from the Apartments south facing terrace of the surrounding Menorcan countryside and Monte Toro, the highest point on the island.

The Apartment overlooks the large clover leaf shaped swimming pool with separate children's section. The pool area provides a choice of both terraced and grassy areas for sunbathing with areas of sun and natural shade provided by pine trees so will suit everyones taste.

Additional Air Conditioning units have been installed to both bedrooms making the Apartment fully Airconditioned/heated in all areas.

Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, Bedroom one having a Double bed and Bedroom 2 having a single beds. We also have a bed guard which can be attached on to the single bed making it ideal for toddlers.

A cot and highchair can be arranged for hire at a small additonal cost should they be required.

There is one Bathroom within the Apartment which is fully tiled and has a Toilet, Bidet, and Bath/Shower. In addition to the main Bathroom in the Apartment each Apartment has its own designated downstairs shower room (This is separate from the Apartment )and is ideal for use when relaxing by the pool or can be used as a second bathroom. It has a toilet, basin and shower in it and provides storage for the Apartments 4 sun beds which are exclusively for use by our guests.

Wifi has been installed in the Apartment for 2015 and there is a Flat screen T.V with Chromecast which enables viewing of Uk T.V programmes via U-Tube.

In addition to this the Apartment has a DVD player and Spanish T.V is also available.

The Apartment has been fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing self catering holiday. The Apartment has a fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine, tumble dryer, Cooker Hob and Microwave.

The large south facing terrace has built in brick BBQ area making it ideal for eating outside. There is a large parasol available to compliment the outdoor dining table an chairs.

The safe Blue Flag sandy beach is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. Pedaloes and Canoes are available for hire as are Sunbeds and Parasols. There are 2 Beach bars one at either end of the Beach which provide light meals and ice creams etc. The beach has a lifeguard in attendance is peak season.

Son Parc offers a good selection of bars and restaurants as well as several supermarkets, all of which are within a 5 minute walk. The choice of Restaurants should suit all tastes from English to Spanish and a Chinese which you can eat in or take away.

There are childrens play areas within easy reach of the Apartment and a Woodland Park with various play equipment for use suitable for children over the age of 6 or 7.

Car and Bike hire are available locally for those who wish to explore the Island.

There is a good local bus service to Mahon and other neighbouring resorts.

Son Parc is the home of the only Golf Course on the island. The course is 18 holes and has a driving range. Equipment for both Golf and Tennis is available for hire from the Club House which is about a 15 minute walk from the Apartment.

For families who wish to holiday together we also have Apartment reference B767 which is the Apartment located directly underneath this one and this Apartment is also listed on the Owners Direct website.

Car hire can be pre-arranged for collection at the Airport on arrival or alternatively can be arranged locally for those who wish only to hire for a few days to explore the island.

There is a good local bus service from Son Parc to Mahon and other local resorts for those who wish to see some other parts of the island without driving.

Great appartment for a family

This appartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Washing machine and dryer are a great bonus with small children.

Ample amounts of crockery and useful utensils.

Air conditioning is excellent and only needs to be used if necessary as their is a great thru breeze if doors are opened.

The pool is safe for young children who cannot swim as it has a separate section from the big area.

Trees shade the pool from afternoon onwards, beach balls etc can be used.

Lovely shallow and sandy beach nearby (5 mins car, 20 mins walking). There is also a cafe/restaurant near the beach and a local shop selling food and beach stuff!

Restaurants in fornells are lovely, the ones on son

Parc aren't anything special.

Great base for a mentor an holiday

We stayed in this apartment in mid July for 13 nights. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with appliances, the air con was superb. Son Parc is a lovely resort with shops and restaurants close by. We would recommend hiring a car to tour the island, the beaches are beautiful and Ciutadella and Mahon are definitely worth a visit. There is underground parking which keeps the car cool, a must in the height of summer! Erica was very helpful and we would recommend hiring this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday.

Apartment in Son Parc

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Son Parc. The apartment block is well maintained as is the pool, and has everything that is needed for a family holiday. The balcony is spacious and comfortable to eat on, and the dishwasher and washing machine are useful if you are on holiday with children. There are restaurants, a supermarket and beach within easy walking distance which avoids the necessity of hiring a car.

We enjoyed eating at the Pinomar restaurant and Beach Club Bar which overlooks the beach. The grounds and pool were quiet most of the time which was great as it meant that our children could play safely, and we avoided the crowds that are often associated with holidays in August.

Super apartment in Son Parc

We have just returned from a week at Son Parc, the apartment was excellent, a good size, well maintained and with a good size pool offering shade all day if needed !

We received very detailed directions to the apartment from the airport, its on the first floor overlooking the pool with lovely views, it has all the facilities you need including newly installed hob and the use of 4 sunbeds. It was exceptionally clean, a good size and well maintained, the balcony has a table to set 6 people, we had a full information pack in the apartment that gave us all the information we needed and some good restaurant advice. We arranged for some essential groceries in advance of our stay and they were there when we turned up, thanks again!!

The apartment is located very close to the stunning Son Parc beach, only 10 minutes walk via a boardwalk. you can hire sun beds etc on the beach, the sea is very shallow and perfect for kids to paddle in, we had lunch in the beach bar over looking the beach, stunning views and good pizzas.

Son Parc itself is only a short walk, 8-10 mins. You have 2 supermarkets and a range of restaurants and bars. "The Strip" area is a mixed bag, we enjoyed cocktails in Wilsons Bar but did not try any others, our recommendation is to walk a bit further to the Pinamar Restaurant (best in the town) with The Eagles Bar next door, Fred and the team are very friendly, great sangria! A little further on we would recommend Tots (Phils Bar) for a great meal.

Son Parc golf club has a great restaurant too, a more limited selection but you can sit on the club terrace overlooking the course and views.

We walked one evening across the cliffs to Arenal, only 25 mins walk but great views and worth it for the selection of restaurants, we visited Blue Arenal restaurant and had a superb paella, very friendly staff and view over the bay from the restaurant is well worth the trek. Make sure you come back in daylight or take a torch, its a little uneven!

The owner gave us some great information prior to arriving, the apartment is excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend it, particularly if you are looking for a quiet place to relax.

Good value family accommodation

Great value apartment, fantastic pool and attractive looking gardens. Nice resort for families with kids, quiet, clean and picturesque. Very pretty beach near by and well equipped play area in the forest. Only negative about the apartment is the double bed in bedroom 1. It is small for a double, and incredibly rickety. The slightest movement felt like the bed would collapse. My husband ended up on the sofa for the duration, and just to clarify, at 5'4" and 9.5 stone, and 6' and 13 stone respectively, we are by no means big.

Aside from that apartment had everything we needed and the kids said their beds were comfy.

Location

From the Owner

The Apartment is superbly located. All amenities such as Bars, Restaurants and Supermarkets are easily reached by a short walk, so car hire is not necessary for those who wish to remain in Son Parc. Menorca is a beautiful island to explore with some fantastic places to visit which to enable you to do this would need a car. There is also a good local bus service which operates to Mahon and other nearby resorts. Son Parc is a tasteful resort with no high rise hotels. The Beach is a crescent of golden sand backed by sand dunes.

Coast/Beach:

The safe blue flag sandy beach at Son Parc is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. For those wishing to walk to other beaches a 40 minute walk will take you a deserted cove across the headland. In the opposite direction a 15 minute walk across the cliff path will take you to the nearby resort of Arenal D'En Castell which provides a sandy bay and a further selection of bars/restaurants. Pedaloes and canoes are available for hire at both the beaches of Son Parc and Arenal. There is also a water park at Arenal.

Travel:

Mahon Airport is a 25 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are close at hand within the resort, however for those wishing to explore the island car hire is recommended. There is a good local bus service available from Son Parc for those wishing to Mahon and other nearby resorts.

Distances:

Anywhere on the island can be reached within an hour by car. The nearby resorts of Arenal, Addaia and Fornells are within a 10 -15 minute drive.

Further Details:

Local bars/restaurants/shops and supermarkets are all within walking distance. Horse riding, diving, windsurfing and sailing are all available within a short drive. There are 2 water parks at the opposite end of the island which can both be reached within an hours drive. A doctor is on call to the resort of Son Parc on a daily basis should one be needed. A lifeguard/first aid post is in use during peak season months on Son Parc Beach. Early check ins/late checkouts maybe available dependant on other bookings. The Apartment offers full Air-Conditioning/Heating and has a full range of kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Undercover parking is an added benefit keeping a car cool in peak season should you decide to hire one. The Apartment has its own designated parking space. The Apartment has it's own separate private downstairs shower room which can double as a second bathroom and is very handy to use when you are relaxing around the pool. The Apartment has direct access to the Pool and has a lovely south facing terrace with fantastic views to Monte Toro the highest point on the island and the surrounding countryside. The Pool area provides sunny areas and natural shade from the pine trees making it suitable for everyone.
