Licence No. A:160. The villa is a corner detached property with 8 x 4m swimming pool. Poolside shower and BBQ. set in beautiful landscaped gardens with palm trees and several flower beds, pool side loungers, all lit up with solar lights in the evening.
You enter into the kitchen area, with washing machine, fridge/freezer, dish washer, oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine and electric toaster, iron and ironing board, electric kettle, small table and 2 chairs. Three steps up to the lounge and dining area with two patio doors out to the garden, two 3 seater leather settees and surround sound television with DVD player, the dining area has dining table and 6 chairs. A further three steps lead to the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with bedside tables, dressing tables and mirrors. Mosquito nets to each window. Main bathroom has bath with shower over, bidet, sink and toilet, shaver socket, mirror and mosquito screen to window. The second bathroom has shower, toilet, sink, shaver socket, mirror and mosquito screen to window. All bed linen, and towels are included.

I purchased the villa in 2006 because I love the area and am a kite surfing/surfing/wind surfing enthusiast. In my opinion the western algarve has the finest beaches in Portugal and the surrounding area is breathtaking.
I have tried to make the villa a home from home with every comfort for holiday makers. I have had the garden landscaped and it is ideal for sitting having a BBQ or relaxing round the pool.

I fell in love with this area when I first visited, and the villa when it had just been built. I have landscaped the garden and fitted out the villa to give it every conceivable comfort for my holiday visitors and myself to enjoy a relaxing 'away from it all' holiday.
It is a very relaxing stress free area, the beaches are some of the best in Europe.You can motor to some of the more hectic towns to enjoy your stay. Either way, it is a central area to enjoy numerous locations without getting stuck in heavy traffic jams.
Just wanted to say that we had a lovely two weeks at your house. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the pool and of course your beautiful garden with everything it had to offer. The house has everything that you could possibly need for a self catering break. It was our first time in Portugal and we were so happy to be on the west coast away from the very touristy areas.stars Thanks.
We spent two weeks at this villa with our three children, aged 14, 11 and 9. It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything that you need for a self catering holiday. The highlight is the beautiful garden and lovely pool. There are lovely plants, hammocks to laze in, a very pretty eating area and a large BBQ. The pool was the perfect size for our children and has a shallow end that gradually gets deeper. The area is quiet with supermarkets, a cafe and a bar within walking distance. The beaches in this part of Portugal are really lovely and a few of the nicest ones are no more than 10 to 15 mins drive away, the sunsets are not to be missed. The local town of Aljezur is also lovely with plenty of restaurants and a great market. All in all this was an excellent base to explore the West coast of the Algarve.
Die Raumaufteilung im Haus ist gut gewählt und verspricht genug Platz für sechs Personen. Das Haus war sauber und warm eingerichtet.
Die Fotos vom Garten und Grundstück versprechen nicht zu viel. Das Grundstück ist von außen nicht einzusehen und ist ruhig gelegen.
Die Umgebung und Haus sind eine Reise wert.
Schönes großes Haus. Englischer Einrichtungsstil.
Nur die Betten waren viel zu hart. Meine Frau konnte deshalb nicht gut schlafen.
Coast/Beach:
There are 2 beautiful sandy beaches close by. Arrifana approx 2km. Monte Clerigo approx 3km. A little further are Bordeiro and Carrapateira. You are within 30 minutes drive of many many more fantastic quiet beaches Most have lifeguards and restaurants on the beaches, open in holiday season.2 golf clubs within 30min. drive. Information and maps on all the golf clubs, beaches and good restaurants, also special interest sites in the area are available in the villa.
Travel:
Faro is the nearest airport for Vale da Telha, 108km approx 1hr.20m along the A22 motorway. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL - THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN VALE DA TELHA. I can recommend carhire companies & shuttle transfer companies which are very reasonable and friendly, just ask when making enquiries about the villa. Taxis are available.
Distances:
Nearest restaurants and bars are approx 10 min walk from the villa. There is a small but well stocked mini rmarket also within walking distance of the villa. The large Intermarche supermarket is in Aljezur, a 10min drive away. Recommended is a trip up the Monchique mountains, the scenery is breathtaking, and some fantastic restaurants, but choose a sunny day, to get the best of the views. Approx. 40 mins drive.
Further Details:
Aljezur is the nearest town with post office, banks, several shops and restaurants, surf shop. A great indoor market selling all local fresh vegetables, bread, cheeses and local caught fish. A large Intermarche supermarket newly opened in 2011. Castle remains and 2 churches. 20 minutes to Lagos there is a large marina, buy an ice cream available from numerous outlets and sit and watch the world go by- fantastic- a variety of very good restaurants and shops in the town centre.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day in peak/high season to be Saturday, but please ask I may be able to accommodate your requirements. VISITORS TO ARRIVE AFTER 4.00PM AND DEPART BY 10.00AM. THESE TIMES MUST BE ADHERED TOO, TO ALLOW FULL VALETING OF THE VILLA.. There is a 30% deposit to secure booking. With balance due 4 weeks prior to holiday. Payable by bank transfer to our Portuguese bank.
Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in Euros. Maximum 6 persons.
Prices include gas, electric and water. Bed linen. Bath towels and towels for round the pool.
Please note a small amount of €10/£10 will be charged for loss of key.
Payment is only by bank transfer to our Portuguese bank. (Not through Owners Direct)
