Accommodating 6 adults in comfort the villa offers high quality accommodation on two levels. There are three double bedrooms, spacious living/dining room, two fully fitted bathrooms and kitchen. Fully air conditioned and centrally heated it can be enjoyed all year round. Equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD. Excellent villa, great views and beaches

The villa was very clean and comfortable and the views from the balcony are superb, especially the sunsets. The pool was great for cooling dips, We were well looked after locally by Francesco who provided us with an excellent wi fi connection. Several excellent beaches are within 20 minutes drive and the location was ideal for the airport, private and secure.

A wonderful week

This very spacious, clean and comfortable villa was exactly as described. The views over the sea were wonderful - especially the sunsets, and we all took advantage of the pool to cool off. We would definitely recommend it to anyone considering visiting the southern part of the island.

Location

The villa has unbeatable views over the sea. It is easily accessible from the airport all year round. The local beaches are incredible and easy to access even at high season. The countryside is just as impressive and is great to explore. The villa is not isolated and is in easy access of major towns with the obvious benefit of shopping and access to emergency medical facilities etc. The villa is built to a modern standard in a traditional style so has the 'best of both worlds'. It is extremely well insulated keeping it cool in Summer and warm in Winter.

Nearest Airport : Cagliari at 30 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 2 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Cagliari at 20 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Flumini at 7 Kilometres Nearest Train : Cagliari at 20 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : SS131 at 5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Closest beach (pebble) at Terra Mala 2 minutes drive. Fine sandy beaches at Torre Delle Stella, Poetto and many others within 15 mins drive.

Travel:

Cagliari (Elmas) 25 mins. Easyjet fly from Stansted daily in high season and 3 times per week (incl. Saturdays for rest of year). BA fly from Gatwick. Other airports (Olbia, Alghero) serviced by Ryanair and are approx. 2.5 hours by car. Villa is extremely easy to find and is situated close to the SP17 Cagliari / Villasimius coast road. Cagliari sea port approx 20-25 mins. Public transport available, but car hire from airport strongly recommended to make the most of the holiday.

Distances:

Good choice of supermarkets, restaurants etc within 10-15 mins drive. Most open all year. Cagliari is 20-25 minutes drive and has all the facilities of a major town, including a Serie A football team.

Payment terms - 50% on booking. Balance not less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date else deposit may be lost and we reserve the right to re-sell the period of booking. Damage deposit of 400 euros to be paid in cash locally upon arrival to be fully refunded upon departure in the event of no damage. Final cleaning charge of 150 euros is payable locally upon arrival in cash and is non returnable. Cheques are not accepted for damage deposit or final clean.

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover necessary in high season. All arrivals should be between 12pm and 6pm. Departure between 8am and 10pm. Arrivals/departures outside these times may be accommodated but are subject to prior arrangement and extra locally payable charges

50% on booking, 50% one month prior to arrival. Final clean fee of EUR 150 and refundable damage deposit (EUR 400) payable on arrival in EUR. Payment in EUR / GBP (local payments in EUR only). Please contact us for GBP price if needed

From the Owner

Most properties close to the sea are at low level so the sea may be close but you can't see it - not the case here! Also, in our experience, most developments close to the sea are accessed via dirt roads which can be difficult, particularly in Winter. Our villa is accessed via a 'normal' drained tarmac road.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is child friendly. The pool is gated for toddler safety and is also at a fixed depth. We provide a box of toys, PS2, highchair and cot. Small pets may be acceptable subject to prior approval. The villa is very suitable for all year round living. It is fully air conditioned and centrally heated. All windows and doors are double glazed. In our experience it needs very little cooling in summer and very little heating in Winter - such is the quality of the design - a mixture of traditional Mediterranean building practice combined with high quality modern materials. Outside: Private pool approx 5 x 2.5m. Water depth approx 1.5m. 2 patio areas to front (with sea view) - one upper level, one lower level. Each with table and chairs. Additional patio area to rear. Extensive terraced gardens. Private parking area for up to 2 cars. Situated on private complex with secure key entry. Access to villa is via quality tarmac roads - no dirt tracks! The villa lies close to the end of a private cul-de-sac so there is no passing traffic. Utility Room: Washing machine (situated outside). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Property is cleaned prior to guest check in. Towels and linen are left for guest's use and are cleaned following each stay. Extra linen (for longer stays) may be provided though there is also a washing machine.
