This bright and modern apartment is immaculate, well maintained and extremely well equipped. Set within a closed condominium with large outdoor pool and separate children's pool, there is an extensive garden area where you can relax in the sun, a tennis court on site for the more energetic and also a children's play park. This spacious apartment also benefits from a large balcony where you can relax in the morning sun, dine alfresco or just chill out after a long day! About Marc and Linda McColgan

Marc and I live in Scotland with our 2 daughters. We both work, but spend our holidays in Portugal, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

Why Marc and Linda McColgan chose Vilamoura

We love Vilamoura because it is such a fabulous resort with fantastic facilities and friendly people. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. As for the golfers out there, you couldn’t ask for more! There really is something for everyone here and the climate is perfect all year round. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than half an hours drive away. It is also just five minutes drive, or a pleasant walk, to the fabulous marina and wonderful beaches.

What makes this apartment unique

The property has two outdoor pools, tennis court and ample gardens for sunbathing. If you're looking for a home from home then you have found it in our delightful apartment. We particularly enjoy dining outside on the large balcony after a day in the sun. The marina is perfect day or night with a great selection of restaurants and bars. Why not do a spot of people watching whilst enjoying an ice cream along the way! If you like to get out and about and explore the local area then we have years of experience and knowledge of the tourist spots for all ages, tastes and abilities. Whether you want to golf, swim with dolphins, ride rapids, see historic sites or find the best supermarket or restaurant, then we’ll happily share our experiences and make recommendations to you. Just ask us.

Amazing apartment.

It's a home from home apartment. We arrived late, which was early hours of the morning due to our car rental but we were still greeted by a smiling face. The apartment was clean & had everything you need & more for an enjoyable stay. The grounds were well looked after, along with the swimming pool. The swimming pool was excellent for young children & adults. Location was fantastic. Would highly recommend this apartment. Huge thank you to Marc & Linda for all your help before our holiday x

Great apartment. Very clean and with everything you need. A lovely home from home vibe 😄

Very efficient booking via owners who were very helpful and answered all questions before visit. Meet and greet service with local lady on our arrival was great. Apartment was brilliant with amazing pool and gardens in a totally quiet and relaxing, modern and clean apartment block. Now for the negative stuff: No English T.V. channels. We don't go on holiday to watch tv but we do like to keep in touch with the news and sport. Just a bbc news Channel would be a welcome addition. We were aware in advance of the apartments location as we are fairly familiar with the area and we don't mind walking but even we were getting fed up with the 55 minute walk to marina and 25 minute walk to nearest shop by the end of the week. You really do need bikes or a car for this apartment. We would use again but look to organise bike/car rental in advance. Other than these points we would definitely reccomend 😄

Sorry you were disappointed about the lack of UK TV. It isn't something we generally get asked about as most people keep up to date with news and sport from home on line. As for getting about, on foot and by taxi works for many of our guests but we hire a car ourselves when there and recommend this in our advert. Sometimes, even if you don't use the car very often when in Vilamoura, it does help to have it for a quick trip to the supermarket or to get to the beach etc. Your comments are appreciated and we would hope to welcome you back again soon. Great apartment, had everything we needed.

Lovely homely apartment with everything you need. Came home with clean washing thanks to the washing machine. One thing I would say if you're thinking of staying is hire a car as it's a little bit too far to walk into the centre of Vilamoura or do what I did and download the uber taxi app on your phone, loads cheaper for taxis. Apart from that the complex is very clean and the pools and garden are so well looked after. Thanks to marc and Linda for letting us stay in your apartment and thanks to Isabel for showing us around when we got there. The Wilson's.

Great apartment. Loved the pool area

2 adults and 2 children Stayed in the appartment last 2 weeks of august. We were met on arrival by isobel who was really warm and helpful. Appartment was clean modern and great for our stay. Pool area was brilliant for the kids and the tennis courts. Would recommend hiring a car as apartment is a little out of the way. Would not hesitate to return. Marc and Linda were great hosts

Wonderful accommodation

Just come home from this lovely appartment. It's definately home from home.

Very clean, well equipped apartment. Plenty of room for 4 of us staying.

Lovely pool area, didn't get round to using the tennis courts.

Would definately stay again. Maybe for longer next time. Isabel was lovely and met us quite late after our flight to let us in and show us round the appt.

Great week away with the family

Very modern 1 bed flat with plenty of space and fully equipped kitchen including microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Lovely private terrace for quiet coffees and morning sunrises. Nice pool in the grounds and a tennis court too.

The flat was very clean and well maintained and the local contact Isobel was very friendly, giving us good local tips and advice.

Vilamoura marina is a 5 minute drive with plenty of restaurants and shops, and the flat has a small supermarket nearby for all groceries.

The flat also has free off street parking so with our hire car it was a great base from which to explore the Algarve. We would definitely use it again.

Falesia Beach is the nearest of Vilamoura's 2 beaches to the apartment, being just a 5 minute drive away. The other beach is a few minutes further on, at the other side of the marina. Both have miles of beautiful sandy beaches, sunbeds and parasols, snack bars, occasional shops, shower and toilet facilities. Both also have parking nearby.


Faro airport is approx 25 minutes drive along the N125. Car hire is recommended (further details available on request).


Golf Clubhouses 1 minutes drive. Marina and beaches 5 minutes drive or 40 minutes walk along the fantastic pedestrian walkway. Nearest restaurant and supermarket 2 minutes drive, 15 minutes walk. Wide range of restaurants, bars and nightlife 5 minutes drive. Water park 10 minutes by car. Zoomarine 30 minutes by car. Algarve shopping mall 20 minutes by car.
