Centrally located -- about 10 minutes walk to Accra beach, and a 5/10 min drive to all the popular beaches on the south coast. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars St. Lawrence gap, heart of night life and array of restaurants just 5 minutes drive. About 20 minutes from airport and 20 minutes to Bridgetown.

10 mins drive - Oistins Fish Fry, Miami Beach, Yacht Club, Grahm Hall Bird sanctuary.

About the Owner

I am a Barbadian/American. Travel extensively. Lived many years in Europe and currently living in Africa where I work with an international organisation.

This is quite a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a grand patio over-looking the golf course. Wonderful for entertaining and relaxing. On the premises there is a restaurant, hair salon, yoga and tennis. Within walking distance, there are all the amenities: supermarkets, shops, restaurants and some great beaches.

My management company is located on the premises, and will efficiently take care of your needs. Indeed, you will enjoy the atmosphere of a home away from home but with the luxuries of a vacation.

The apartment is exactly as we expected after seeing the apartment on the internet. It is a good size, fitted with all the basics we needed. The owner, Patricia is very friendly and was very helpful.

Thank you for a really comfortable apartment stay with everything we needed for a week. The walk to and from the beach, kept us fit for the week. Owner, Patricia was very helpful and would definitely recommend her and the apartment. Mosquito net is a great bonus, and makes a restful night sleep as they are attracted to me and my blood!! `Rockley is a great location as it is walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops; close to airport and the city. Yet, nestled in the tranquility of nature, a wonderful sanctuary from "maddening" crowd.

Nearest Airport : GRANTLEY ADAMS INTERNATIONAL at 10 Miles Nearest Barpub : TAPAS/ JUSTGRILLIN at 1 Kilometres Nearest Golf : ROCKLEY GOLD at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : ROCKLEY BEACH at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

All water-sports are in close range: snorkeling diving, fishing etc.

Coast/Beach:

There are many beaches within walking distance of condo. Animated Accra beach is just about 10 minutes away. Worthing is also about 10 minutes in opposite direction. Dover beach is about 5 minutes drive and a number of smaller beach along the South coast main road. These are all within vicinity of restaurants, pubs etc. You can rent lounge chairs and spend the day under the causarina trees in glorious bliss.

Travel:

Grantley Adams airport is just 20 minutes from apt. As condo is so central and easy access to bus routes and taxis it is not really necessary to hire a car. The supermarket has a shuttle service when you buy groceries to drop you at home.

Distances:

Major town is Bridgetown which is about 20 minutes away; and Oistin's town about 15 minutes where you can hang out on week-ends for the fish fry and a taste of local culinary. Plantation house, close to famous St. Lawrence Gap where you can enjoy a taste of the island's lively culture. If you are horse racing fan, the Garrison Savannah is just a short 5 minutes drive.
