Cottage near Beach, in Crackington Haven, Cornwall, England - Breathtaking Views, Close to the Beach with lots of Faciltities Nearby

The cottage is in the heart of Crackington Haven with stunning sea and rural views. It is full of character with an original slate floor which has underfloor heating, beams and a wood burner. Downstairs the cottage is open plan with a new, stylish kitchen, sitting and dining area. The kitchen has a dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave, Belfast style sink and fridge freezer. The sitting area has views to the front courtyard framed by sixteenth century barns and the rear patio doors leads on to a safe and secluded garden with views down to the sea from the garden. Upstairs has two beautifully decorated and designed bedrooms. One double bedroom with twin bedrooms in the second bedroom. The cottage is presented to a very high standard throughout and is well maintained and kept throughout the year. The cottage is lovely to stay in all year with each season offering something special. I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you for all the information that you provided.

We completely forgot about writing in the visitors book before we left but wanted to say what a lovely few days we had, it was perfect for what we needed and so handy with the little shop next door and our little girl loved the playground over the road!

We will definitely be booking again in the future . This was perfect!

Trevean cottage is a cosy, perfect holiday home.

  • 5 of 5

We have used Trevean cottage as our holiday home on at least 5 occasions on our trips to Cornwall over the past 10 years, simply because we love it so much. Although small, it is warm and spotlessly clean. We love the private garden and views down to the sea, especially on a warm summer evening, watching the sunset. Being able to step out on a scenic walk directly from the front door is also a plus; walking down to the haven and enjoying watching the surf and having a light lunch in a choice of two cafes. The food in Coombe Barton Hotel is fairly basic pub grub, but Trevigue,a National Trust farm with accommodation and restaurant is a short drive along the coast and definitely worth trying. Having the village shop next door is also very handy. We did not use the log burner as the cottage was always warm from the underfloor heating. All in all, we recommend this cottage as a delightful holiday home for couples and families of up to four people. We love Trevean.

Delightful cottage in wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely few days in Trevean Cottage. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with beautiful garden and wonderful views across the Cornwall countryside. We intend to visit again - only for longer! Situated in a small hamlet with a small shop and post office. Easy access for travelling around in car but also lovely walks near the cottage. The owner was most helpful with information.

Highly recommended - simply perfect! K&R Somerset

The best place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cottage, very quiet, with an extra ordinary garden.

Sleeping rooms are so pretty!

And, not far from Combe Inn, close to the beach, with stunning sunsets.

Facilities

From the Owner

Naturally I am biased but I do believe the bay at Crackington is one of the most beautiful on the Cornish coast and an absolute delight for children. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location for exploring all of Cornwall. Rain or shine, we always leave feeling refreshed and rested.
