This place is amazing. We have just returned from a lovely week there. Sue and Chris are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble but at the same time ensuring they respect your privacy.
The house and gardens are beautiful. Everything was lovely and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was perfect for lazing by whilst my my two year old son splashed around (with his dad). There are plenty of toys for the children to play with, the ride on tractors in the courtyard and the climbing frames were very big hits.
Everything you could possibly need is provided. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is better equipped than my own.
So if you are looking for a family holiday for little ones, this is perfect.
At least the sunny UK weather softened the blow of returning home after a wonderful stay at La Grange. We enjoyed every moment of our time there. Chris and Sue were great hosts, available and helpful but in no way intrusive. I was even forgiven for passing on my cold to Chris (I think)! The setting really is beautiful and the facilities impressive both for adults and children (big and small). And if you can drag yourself away from the house, pool, play barn and gardens do take a walk or cycle ride to enjoy the immediate area. It's so lovely. Short car trips to local towns, markets and Guerlédan lake all worthwhile. Sometimes though, just sitting back and relaxing with a glass of the local bubbly Breton cider in the gardens of Manoir de Bolu was all we wanted to do. It was hard to leave.
