Apt 2 Sol Wave House (1 Bedrm Apartment, Sleeps 2/4)

Small bedroom with double bed and wardrobe area. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge area.

Bathroom (no bath)shower, WC, vanity unit and unlimited hot water.

Kitchen: Hob, oven, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, cutlery and crockery for four place settings and plenty of kitchen utensils. Cleaning materials include mop and bucket, broom, dust-pan and brush.

Living Room: Open-plan space, furnished in the Mallorcan style.

Dining area with seating for 4 people. Freesat TV with all the free English channels with DVD player. Air-conditioning. Balcony with table and chairs and extensive views of the sea and the bay across to Palma.

Cleaning, towels and linen: 1 set of towels, 1 set of single bed linen is provided, per person.

Linen will be changed once a week.(Cleaning during stay, can be arranged at an extra charge).

There is a safe in the living room, with full instructions for its use.

About the property


These well-appointed apartments are located right on the beautiful beach of Magaluf, within the Sol Wave House, where there is plenty of opportunity to engage in water sports and boat excursions. They are approximately 30 minutes from Palma airport, and the new motorway system offers easy access to all parts of the island. The golf course at Santa Ponsa, which is open to visitors, is only a few miles away. Within walking distance is a Water Park, Karting, Katmandu House and the famous Pirates, all of which provide entertainment for the whole family. There is an abundance of bars and night clubs, and a sling shot ride which is over 100 feet high!

The town of Magaluf has restaurants to suit all needs – Indian, Chinese, Mexican, KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Tom Brown’s where you can get a good Sunday Roast, as well as many places serving local foods. There are always plenty of taxis available at the many taxi ranks and buses will take you to most parts of the island.

As my father was a Victualling Stores Officer for the Navy, we lived much of the time near the sea, and we moved around a lot, living in Gosport, Plymouth and Singapore. We always said we would retire to the seaside, but when the time came, our children and grandchildren were all settled in the Midlands.

The opportunity came to buy a holiday home, so the seaside it had to be!

If you are interested in 'unknown' dates - please enquire. A 25% deposit is required on booking with final payment in full, 10 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £150 against damage/breakages is required payable with the final rental payment. It will be returned within two weeks of your departure.

There is no set changeover day. Apartment to be vacated by 11am, keys available at 3pm on day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement.

Notes on accommodation: There is air-conditioning, which provides both heat and cold in the lounge/dining/kitchen area. Whilst these apartments are part of a hotel complex, whose facilities are available to our guests, the hotel is closed between October and April. The apartments are still accessible, although the hotel, with its facilities (pools, bar, restaurant etc.), is not available to guests during this period. Outside: Full width sliding glass doors lead out onto the sea-facing sun terrace with table and chairs. It is from here that the wonderful views of the pools, beach, Magaluf Bay and the Mediterranean beyond, can be seen. There is a large pool with various shallow parts for small children, a jacuzzi and an infinity pool. Around the infinity pool there is a large decked area with sunbeds and Balinese beds which offer a days bar service - for which there is a charge. Within the hotel grounds there are two surf wave machines, for which there is a charge. The beach is through the hotel grounds and across the Promenade. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the front. Boat trips and water sports are also available.

A comfortable stay during a fantastic holiday!

Everything was as per our expectations. The location is perfect; just under 30 mins drive from the airport, in a lively party district with lots of shops & good restaurants within walking distance. The beach is minute's walk away and is accessible from inside the hotel. The flat, being on the third floor, offers fantastic views of the sea as well as of the pools from the balcony.

The owner is quintessential British Landlady, who endeavours to provide the best service of the high standards. We found the flat clean & tidy, well stocked, and comfortable to stay in, with all the necessary amenities. The air conditioned lounge has a sofa bed, television, free sat box & DVD player. The kitchen has an electric hob, a good sized fridge-freezer, washing machine and other facilities.

The bedroom is a bit cramped, and could have done with a bit more ventilation but during the course of the night, the coolness from the air conditioning in the lounge managed to find its way into the bedroom. Plus, given that we were out most of the day and coming back tired, were happy to crash out at night, it was not much of a problem.

Overall, we felt we got our money's worth and would gladly recommend the property.

Une localisation parfaite

Avec ma famille, nous avons passé des agréables vacances dans ce super appartement. Certes simple, mais bien équipé. Nous avons été surpris du cadre et de la vue. Excellente surprise !

Néanmoins, les draps, les serviettes et les couverts furent sales à notre arrivée et le sol envahi de sable, heureusement un coup de balai et quelques machines et le tour est joué !

L'emplacement est idéal, les commerces et la plage à 100m à pied maximum.

Je remercie Felicity pour sa réactivité et sa compréhension. Une très bonne adresse pour passer des vacances festives et agréables.

Nous reviendrons !
