Villa De Cubas is a modern, European designed luxury villa. Recently constructed with stunning coastal views and is located on the outskirts of Villaverde. It is no more than a 10-15 minutes drive from El Cotillo and Corralejo. The villa includes a very spacious open lounge, equipped with home cinema surround sound, Satellite TV, BluRay DVD, Wifi internet. It has a fantastic fully equipped contemporary kitchen/diner which seats 12 and 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, Master bedroom wing has it own dressing room/bathroom/TV/DVD. Villa de Cubas has a fantastic overall living space that measures 380sq.m. The gardens boasts a large 66m2 (11m x 6m)swimming pool that includes a shallow end for children which is solar heated with electric back up for winter months. "FANTASTIC" exceed our expectations.

We look forward to staying at the villa again, and next August can't come soon enough!. 20/10/10.

"We were very impressed with the villa, Everything worked, the beds were comfortable and the pool warm. However my main joy was the sight of the beautiful house from the pool,(as promised !) it is very pleasing to the eye and sits comfortably in its surroundings. The owners are very helpful as were the efficient caretaking couple during our stay. All in all I can't rate it highly enough for its location, views, fixtures & fittings, furniture, interior decor & carefully thought out design. It is an ideal villa for those seeking peace, space and 5* hotel standard accommodation in self catering holiday rental." week at the end of October 2011.

We had a few clouds but the temperature was lovely.

The villa was set up perfectly for us being three generations and certainly big enough for us to all find a space of our own when needed! Nov 2012.

Notes on accommodation: This is a family friendly villa in a very quiet location and a car is essential. Google Earth co-ordinates: Latitude 28 38' 38.67" N, Longitude 13 54' 18.06" W. Outside: There is a private, solar heated pool with electric back up for winter months, for sole use of the guests. The pool is maintained twice a week. Garden lighting, shower room/wc. Ten sun loungers, an outside table, chairs and BBQ. Utility Room: Storage units, sink, washing machine, Iron, Ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen including beach towels are provided. The property is cleaned weekly and the towels/linen changed weekly.

Relaxing week with the family

We all had a great time at villa de cubas in march 2017 the weather was perfect the villa was 5 star, our 12 and 3 year old boys loved the heated pool. All in all an absolutely fabulous Holliday and we would love to stay in this villa for our next visit to fuerteventura.

Possibly the best accommodation in Fuerteventura.

We travelled and stayed as a family of 10, 5 adults and 5 children, aged from 72 to 2.

The whole family were excited by the quality of the design finish and layout.

It's modern and by far the best accommodation we have experienced, in our visits to Fuerteventura.

We consider ourselves lucky to have found paradise in the north of the island,the whole complex,the sea view, the private pool the designed interior, plain and simple concept, it all works fantastic.

We were 3 age groups all family the communal areas, luxury is the only way to describe the kitchen seating for 12 in the the high gloss fittings, the lounge is the focal point of the house and everything radiates from this, the pool is viewed via the glass wall running the length of lounge, this enables visual contact to the out side, to be part of the play area and is an outstanding feature to the villa.

Their is no heat gain via these large windows with a north south orientation, to the south the out door seating is under cover and the heated pool receives sun all day long, we spent a lot of time tuning the girls swimming.

All the joinery doors stairs are all of a consistent high quality bathrooms, en suites are large and qualitity, with plenty of hot water.

We will return without a shadow of doubt to this high quality villa, the villa is set 200 meters above sea level in a quiet area and 10 minutes drive from the towns and beaches, the northern beach at El Cottilo is safe and white sand and offers plenty of play and digging opportunities for the girls gran is now recovering.

With out any question this is the best.

Vacances superbes dans une splendide villa .L’île de Fuerteventura vaut le voyage .Seul petit défaut la théière et la cafetière sont un peu petites pour 8 personnes !! mais globalement nous avons été très satisfaits . La villa était très propre . Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Stunning and spacious property with private pool made for a fantastic holday

What a stunning property. First impressions were that we had stepped on to a film set. It is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. The private pool, terraces and maintained grounds were fabulous. We all loved having such a large and clean pool to ourselves.

The property is in a great location with views across hills and the plain towards Lanzarote. This gives a real sense of openess and connection to the landscape. The large windows to the front of the property bring these views inside. There are a few other houses nearby but the villa is not overlooked and this increased the sense of privacy.

We were a party of three adults and five children (6-16 years old). There was ample space for us to spread out and enjoy the villa.

We had two or three film nights making use of the superb TV and entertainment system.

There's a wonderful bakery in Villaverde and good restaurants too. Supermarkets are located within a few minutes drive in Villaverde/La Oliva, Lajares and Corralejo.

A car is essential but we knew that when booking. There's lots to do nearby and stunning scenery on the doorstep.

All in all this is a great villa with a lovely private pool and we had a wonderful holiday. We didn't want to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.

There are many well designed villas on the island but we felt this villa was the best; spotless, cool, luxurious and comfortable.

Cleverly designed so it never got too hot.

It suited our two young children as well as the grandparents.

Warm solar heated pool which was shallow enough to be relaxing with children.

Very comfy beds and pillows.

Clean towels supplied.

Well stocked kitchen.


Amazing views.

Easy to reach towns or beaches within about 20 min drive max.

Lots of recommendations for local restaurants which were well worth a visit. Our favorite was Azzuro in El Contil, which was also our favorite beach.

The only thing that could be improved is the weak wifi which only reached as far as the sitting room. This could be cheaply extended.

Friendly and helpful owner.

We look forward to going back, which says it all.

Nearest beach is a 15 mins drive away (either Corralejo or El Cotillo). The Jandía beach/resort is a 2 hour drive away but is worth a visit. There is a beach and harbour in the town of Corralejo, numerous bars and restaurants.


The only airport on the island is a 30 mins drive away from Villaverde. Car hire is available at the airport and is recommended. Taxis also operate and would cost approximately 40 euros.


There are 3 local restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a couple of Spanish bars. Bus stops to Corralejo and El Cotillo (within walking distance) in the village. Villaverde is a good base for exploring. The beautiful sand dunes of both Corralejo and El Cotillo are only a 15 minute drive away, as is the Baku waterpark (Corralejo). Corralejo harbour for visits to Lanzarote is 15 mins.

Further Details:

The nearest large town is Corralejo, however the centre of Villaverde is 2 mins drive and has rural bars, restaurants, bakers and 2 supermarkets of which one has most of your requirements. Alternatively La Oliva is 5 mins drive with a Chinese and excellent Italian pizza takeaway.
