The development of 18 apartments was completed in 2008 and has been maintained to a high standard; it is a top floor (2nd) penthouse apartment with full air conditioning and own allocated parking space. Muo is the oldest fishing village in Montenegro dating back to 1700. Views of the Fjord and the citadel of Kotor from the 2 terraces are some of the best in the whole area. Other features of the apartment are a large 'Heated' swimming pool, private car parking, outside barbecue area, garden. Tivat Airport is only a 10 min drive away. The shores of the Fjord are a short walk as is the unmissable town of Kotor. Beaches, bars, restaurants the Mega yacht Marina Porto Montenegro, National Parks, The famous Skadar Lake and Tara the 2nd largest Canyon in the world are all at your doorstep.

Why Richard Barker chose Montenegro

You will fall in love with this place as I did when I first visited it. it is truly magical. Access is easy with the local airport only a 10min drive away - but because of the mountains and a rather convenient tunnel you will never see or hear a plane from the apartment.

Kotor is a small quite busy walled city, there are few crowds even in Summer and there is a general relaxed feeling all year round. The people are very friendly warm and open. the culture is a mix of east and west European. every view is of some water the bay or the fjord. boats are constantly coming and going which you can simply watch for hours.

What makes this apartment unique

The bay of Kotor is unique as is the Country of Montenegro. Montenegro is stunning and certainly one of the most exciting new countries in Europe or even the world. The bay of Kotor is without question 'the jewel in the crown'. Kotor View apartments probably has one of the most stunning views in the bay by day and definitely by night as well.

it is a great place to explore the rest of the country ~(the size of Wales) weather its is the Vast Tara Canyon or the Skadar lake - the largest bird reserve in Europe.

Hello Richard, We are now home in the states and settled back into real life! We loved our stay in Kotor and being able to enjoy your apartment. I agree with you, it is the best apartment! You have thought of everything! We never cook on vacation, but nice to know everything is there if need be! It rained just a few days, the rest of the stay was beautiful. Notes on accommodation: The apartment is ideal for a family holiday; there is a private parking space (hard to find in Montenegro) a heated swimming pool (also not easy to find) and a outside BBQ patio; the apartment is new modern and well designed. Access to the local airport is 15 mins. There is a huge number of thing to do see and explore in Montenegro particularly for the active. its therefore ideal for exploring or taking a leisurely 'day off' by the pool. There is air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms. there is wireless internet connection from 2011. Outside: There is a large shared swimming pool in front for the apartment, this is relatively rare in the bay area. There is also an al fresco barbecue patio area for external dining and inpromtu parties. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and the apartment is cleaned on changeover days. If you need more regular cleaning please arrange this with the rental management company 'Best Adriatic'.

Stunning view & great apartment

We have loved being on holiday in Montenegro, staying in this apartment has been lovely, the views are breathtaking & it is very well equipped. We have two children - 3 & 6 years old, the pool has seen a lot of action from us all, but so too has the fjord & nearby Adriatic coast! Muo is a fantastic base for exploring the Bay of Kotor & the Adriatic Coast - we feel so lucky to have been to so many beautiful places. We don't want to leave...

Four 40 something ladies stayed in this apartment in June and were not disappointed. The flat is well laid out and spacious. There is enough cooking equipment for nights in and the dining area adequately catered for this. Both bedrooms are big and have aircon. The views over the bay are second to none. Its quite surreal watching the enormous cruise ships sail in whilst you have breakfast.

The apartment, location and setting is great and the pool is a real bonus when it gets too hot.

Because of the steps from the parking area down to the apartment I would caution anyone with mobility problems accessing this area but apart from that everything was perfect.

Alternatively this can be sent in the UK before travel and returned after. There is also a local tourist tax whih must be paid locally but this is very small.
