The Falls is a luxury development of 20 properties that set in 1.5 acres that captures the essence of Caribbean living while providing privacy and security. The open plan ground floor is furnished in a contemporary Caribbean style with ceiling fans and open plan kitchen, dining and living areas leading on to the covered patio and private enclosed garden, ideal for sheltered and cool dining. The lounge features cable TV with large LCD TV, DVD, ipod player and wireless internet. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are air conditioned with en-suite facilities and the Master bedroom features a Super King sized bed. Use the Communal club house with pool, changing rooms and exercise room or take a short 5 minute trip to the Sandy Lane beach or the Beach House. Water sports are available at the nearby Paynes Bay whilst golf is well served by a number of courses all less than 30 mins drive away. At night there is a wide range of local restaurants from Bajan through to famous gourmet restaurants.

Great location and 5 star accommodation. We were amazed at the luxury of the house. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Living areas were comfortable and elegant with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the patio area and had amazing breakfasts watching the troup of local monkeys.

We like being so close to Holetown where we could go to the beaches, local bars and eateries. We had a truly relaxing holiday and will definitely go back there again. Steve and Sarah Peat June 2011



I can't speak highly enough of this property and the whole experience from start to finish. Communications regarding booking was simple and straightforward with any queries being answered quickly and accurately. The service from the house keepers was great. The property itself was wonderful, well equipped kitchen, spacious accommodation, plenty of room in all 3 bedrooms, air conditioning, shared pool good size and often had it to ourselves, secure development, very clean and well presented. Fantastic Luxury House

We had a lovely time staying in this very spacious well equipped house. The Falls is in a quiet location just off the Sandy Lane end of the main road through Holetown. Friendly staff and security make this development feel safe and secure. A 10/15 minute walk takes you to all the bars, restaurants and shopping Holetown has to offer.

The Falls

Great property, spacious, well maintained, secure. The location is perfect, a five minute walk to sandy beaches with every colour of blue sea. A ten minute stroll gets you to Holetown, which has bars and restaurants for the evening and supermarkets in the day. The west coast is the place on the island for a beach holiday.

A day trip on one of the catamarans out of Bridgetown is a fun day. I would recommend Cool Runnings. Ryan leads the trippers to swim with turtles and if if you are up for some dancing then Rockin for Docking is for you

Brilliant in Barbados

House is spacious, well maintained, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Each bedroom has own en-suite and,importantly, air conditioning.

There is a patio at the rear which is ideal for having a BBQ and/or a rum punch after a hard day in the sun! Breakfast and late afternoon on the patio were usually the time to see the passing monkeys and beautiful birds.

Information left in the house ,by the owners, was informative and helpful.

The house is situated in a small gated community. It was easy to find and ideally situated for all the local amenities and exploring the island. There is a small pool and gym for residents use. We found the pool ideal after spending a long day exploring or chilling at the beach.

Barbados is a beautiful island with a lot to offer the tourist. This villa is an ideal base from which to explore the whole of the island.

We are certain to return.

Great location – easy to get to the beach

The house is in a great location which meant we could easily access lots of different water sports in the day and also enjoy the nightlife. The pool is also very quiet. Most of the time there was no one else there and so it does mean that you can just stay in and chill if you want to. The house is also peaceful as it is on the opposite side to the road. We did not hire a car but the bus stop is only about 25m away and the buses are very frequent and cheap. Travelling on a yellow bus is a real Bajan experience and means that it is easy to get up and down the west coast including Bridgetown. Great experience and I would definitely recommend staying.

Great house for famly vacation

Great house, well kept up. Friendly staff at this gated development always helpful with any questions. Car is definitely recommended, as walking is problematic, while Holetown center is only a 10 minute walk, there are no sidewalks for a good part of it. We had a car and drove most places and it was fantastic, and fortunately care rentals on the Island are very reasonable. The Beach House provided a great place for swimming and exploring the local beaches, and driving up to the Marine Sanctuary and other areas is easy and of course getting out and touring the island is also fun. One of the great things about Barbados is that you really can get out and drive around and enjoy the island without encountering crime or poverty. The fact that the house had three bedrooms with 3.5 baths made it great for our family, and we could easily have had another couple of friends.

I agree that Holetown is about 10 mins walk away but there is the option of either a pavement or walking on the grass area laid back from the road that joins the Chattel village. We find this a pleasant walk under trees. If you have young children I would definitely agree with the car comments. Thanks again

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Sandy Lane beach is approximately 5 minutes walk away. The Beach House is approximately 5 minutes by car whilst other west coast beaches such as Paynes Bay and Mullins take about 10 minutes by car or public transport. Both Paynes Bay and Mullins offer lively beach bars, water sports and sun chairs for hire.

Travel:

Grantley Adams International Airport is about 40 minutes drive away and easy to navigate. We would recommend hiring a car during your stay. However taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced (costing about US $45 from the airport). We are happy to recommend and help you in this process.

The local “yellow” buses are part of the Bajan experience, are very frequent and will transport you for $1.0 US, north to Holetown and Speightstown and south to Bridgetown. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk away.

Distances:

The closest shops are a 5 minute walk away at Sunset Crest including Bank, doctors surgery and cafe. Holetown is 15 mins walk away and includes supermarket, restaurants and Duty free shopping at Limegrove with brands such as Louis Vuiton, Ralph Lauren, Armani, Cartier, Gucci and many more. Bridgetown is 15 mins by car.

Diving, surfing schools, zip wiring, caves, sugar plantation house are all in the locality.
