We are a French/English couple with kids aged 10 and 12 who spent a week here in May 2013. We even took my 70 year old mum with limited mobility so all I can say is that the place was an excellent find for all of us. The flat is extremely well equipped, it was lovely to eat outside. We also appreciated the off street parking and spaciousness of the flat. The beds were very comfortable too. The location is excellent for visiting the area... the wonderful villages of Tellaro, the Cinque Terre, aperitifs in the plazas of Sarzana, visiting the interesting marble quarries in Cararra, a day in Pisa, rent a bike to cycle the city ramparts in Lucca.etc. Last but certainly not least I should mention the owners; Paula and Mirco are a charming couple who go out of their way to be helpful and who of course know some delicious restaurants and interesting places to recommend. They speak good English too! This place is good value for money, good for all ages and we certainly hope to return one day. Many thanks Paula and Mirco!

Owner's Response: Very nice family with all kind of ages to host. They spent all holiday visiting our beautiful area using our property as starting point for daily trip, but they didn't forget to relax in the outside area of the apartment. They left the flat in very good conditions: We surely will host them again in the future.

Spring Break

The two of us were very comfortable in the apartment. Friendly and helpful hosts, locality superb in a quiet corner of a very popular area. Promenade walks and first class restaurants on your doorstep, so good we stopped for extra days as we liked it so much!!

Family holiday

  • 4 of 5

We had a family holiday in Bocca di Magra to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We stayed in Corallo and Riccio de mare and we'e made very welcome by Paola and Mirco. The properties were very comfortable and well maintained and we were able to enjoy our time together as a family despite some very challenging weather! The area is beautiful and we managed visits to Pisa Luca and Sarzana. Didn't manage Firenze unfortunately - maybe next time!

Like coming home-only better

  • 5 of 5

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The owners were warm, friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean with plenty of beds for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. The large terrace in front of the house was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine and view of the water. My family wants to make it an annual tradition to spend a week here! Highly recommended.

And if you are looking for great italian pizza, there is a place up the road the owner will tell you about. :)

Lovely property, pretty location

  • 4 of 5

Paola and Mirco greeted us with a welcoming smile and our 7 day stay only got better. This is a pretty part of Italy and the apartment/villa looks out onto the river estuary and sea, with a mountain backdrop. There are yachts and boats passing all day which adds to the character. The area has many restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as the beach and we enjoyed many varied walks in the area. We had the ground floor apartment which was very comfortable and ideal for my elderly mother. It has the added benefit of a garden for barbecues and eating alfresco, although the first floor apartment has a large balcony. Paola and Mirco popped by from time to time and gave us tips on where to shop and visit locally. There is a medium sized supermarket within walking distance and a large one 5-6 minutes drive away. One slight negative is the road which runs between the villa and the sea, but it isn't busy, so don't worry.
