Apartment in Cala Egos, Cala D'Or, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Lovely Relaxing Location, 5 Mins Walk to the Marina

This lovely apartment with its own private garden has the use of 5 large shared pools, a smaller childrens pool and large well tended communal gardens. It is in a lovely peaceful location within walking distance of all amenities. It is just a 5 minute walk to the marina, with its many resturants, bars and shops. The nearest beach Es Forti is only a five to ten minute stroll from the apartment, and there are several other pretty coves dotted around Cala D'or. Cala D'or tennis club is also only a five minute walk from the apartment. There are also further shops, supermarkets and banks all only a short walking distance away. Val d'or golf course is just a short drive away. The accommodation, facilities and location are ideal for families with children of all ages, or couples.

Great location and pools

The apartment was clean and well maintained and in a perfect location for us in front of one of the small children's pools. The complex itself is great with a number of different pools. Having the canopy in the garden was great as the complex does not offer much shade and it was super hot. The twin beds were fine, but the double was too hard for my liking.

Well located for walking into cala egos in the evening.

Excellent family friendly apartment

Just returned from a week in this lovely apartment on this large quiet complex. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities as listed in the advert. Our boys are 3 and 6 and this was a great location for them. The patio can be covered by the electric sun awning to get some shade, and there is a secure private garden. The air-con worked great and as a bonus there is english TV including cbeebies to calm them down after hours in the pool. The pools are huge and each one is a different depth. Even in the summer holidays, there were times when we had a whole pool to ourselves. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to cala egos, with the beach a couple of minutes further on. The harbour is 5 minutes walk in the other direction. Jackie has been great to deal with. We had a fantastic time and the boys are already asking whether we can go back next year...

Fantastic Apartment

Stayed here for 10 nights, we had superb service from making the initial enquiry to coming home. Jackie was extremely helpful and the apartment was perfectly located with excellent facilities. The complex is well maintained, and pools catered for all ages. I would recommend to all interested especially those with young children. Overall a great apartment and hope to return next year.

Fabulous Holiday

We have had the most amazing holiday staying at this beautiful apartment. Fantastic complex, very child friendly, beautiful landscaped gardens and overall a wonderfully calm and tranquil base from where we could explore the island. The marina is so close with really great restaurants. The apartment is just perfect, great layout, a real home from home with great customer care from both Jackie and Grace. We will certainly be coming back.

Location

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach Es Forti is a five to ten minute stroll from the apartment. This is a lovely sandy cove and very pretty as it is lined by pine trees. The main central area of Cala d'or also has 5 other lovely beaches and all of these sheltered coves are clean and safe and perfect for families with children. Also the beautiful beaches and crystal waters of Mondrago Natural Park are less than a ten minute drive away, or you can use the mini road train which runs daily during the summer.

Travel:

Visitors fly into and out of Palma Airport. This is a 50-minute journey from Cala d’or. Taxis are available from the airport as is car hire.

Distances:

Central Cala d'or with its many, shops, restaurants and bars is a twenty to twenty five minute walk around the marina or a five minute drive in the car. The cosmopolitan marina with its renowned restaurants is a five-minute walk from the apartment, as is Cala Egos. Porto Petro is a five-minute drive in the opposite direction and is a very pretty fishing village which gives you a glimpse of Majorca of old. Enjoy the superb fish restaurants overlooking the tiny bay.

Further Details:

There are banks, supermarkets, pharmacies and medical centres all within walking distance of the apartment.

Upon making your booking a 30% none refundable deposit will be required to secure your rental. Your balance along with a £100 refundable security deposit to secure against any damage or loss of keys during your stay will be required two calendar months before your departure date. The keys will then be sent by registered post to your preferred address. Upon your return we ask that you post the keys straight back to us.

Changeover Day:
Our chargeover day is totally flexible, we will do our best to accommodate everyone. On arrival you will not be able to gain access until after 3.00pm and on departure you will need to vacate the apartment by 10.30am.

Outside: Large private terrace and walled garden furnished with sun loungers, table and chairs and electric sun awning, overlooking the community pools and gardens. The apartment is perfect for families with children of all ages and is very safe for children. The resort with its beautiful marina, pretty beaches, and wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants offers something to visitors of all ages and although lively during the day, the area is quiet during the night which is why it is so popular with families. Utility Room: Separate utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and clothes airer. There is also a box of toys kept in here which includes buckets and spades etc for our younger guests. Towels / Linen: Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided for your use. Other: There is a safe fitted for your use during your stay.
