The property is located in the most affluent hotel region of Torremolinos, on the third floor of a three storey complex, with a private swimming pool and beautiful well-kept gardens. Just cross the road and you are on the beach, surrounded by fabulous 'Chiringuitos' (bars), restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. About Graham Pyle

Maria Carmen and Graham Pyle have owned the Playamar, Torremolinos apartment since 2005. We live in Enfield UK, although we have relatives in Torremolinos, who look after the apartment for us. We have enjoyed family holidays in Torremolinos nearly every year since we bought the apartment and our two sons now sometimes use the apartment for their own family holidays.

Why Graham Pyle chose West Costa del Sol

We got to know Torremolinos when Maria Carmen's sister went to work there and she introduced us to 'Playamar', which is a vibrant area both during the day and at night. Apart from the lovely beaches, there are many bars, shops and restaurants of all types, many of which serve seafood specialities, typical of this part of the coast. Malaga airport is only about 15 minutes drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

If you stay at our apartment you will be just across the road from the fabulous sandy beaches and very close to many beach bars, restaurants and shops.

We are happy to offer arrival/departure dates on any day of the week to suit your convenience and you can take advantage of lower priced midweek flights where available.

On arrival we found the apartment spotlessly clean, tidy, well equipped and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Notes:
The apartment is very spacious, measuring 45m2 and benefits from plenty of light. It comprises a large lounge-dining area with ‘American-style’ kitchen. The lounge area includes a sofa-bed for one adult (two, if you’re friendly!), a large bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobe. The bathroom is nicely equipped with shower, basin and toilet. There is a glazed terrace with views towards the sea and gardens and an air-conditioning system which functions with both hot and cold air. The apartment complex is securely gated and benefits from a beautiful garden and large, well tended swimming pool ideal for couples, both with or without children. The swimming pool is open all year round. The apartment is located in the Bajondillo-Playamar area, between hotels Isabel and Los Jazmines. The tourist office is close by and a large ‘Mercadona’ supermarket ´Mercadona´ can be found near the rear garden entrance. The 'Paseo Maritimo' (promenade) runs for approximately 7 kilometres and is ideal for walkers, cyclists or roller skaters. There you will also find many chiringuitos (beach-bars), which offer drinks and a variety of tapas and meals. Some chiringuitos have introduced Balinese beds in addition to their sun beds, which offer an exotic Caribbean style environment ideal for those looking to relax and unwind. There is a vibrant nightlife, that includes bars, pubs and restaurants serving delicious food in a fun/popular atmosphere. The numerous restaurants offer Spanish and international cuisine serving seafood, meat and vegetarian options. Utility Room: Utility Cupboard - iron/ironing board and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Electricity and water costs are included in the rental price for short-term holiday lettings. Satellite television provides English, Dutch & Spanish channels. ASDL Internet Connection is provided free of charge.

The description of this apartment 100% accurate

I stayed in this apartment for one week with my three boys aged 18, 15 & 8. The facilites and equipment in the apartment are fantastic. The bedroom, sitting room and bathroom areas are very spacious. It has air con and also roif fans in each room. It has a fantastic view of the beach which is directly across the road and so easily accessed. The beach is beautiful and has some great beach bars/restaurants with very friendly amd helpful staff. The complex is fully enclosed and safe and has a great supermarket within a 2min walk. The pool closed each day from 3.30 to 5 which the boys didnt like, however the beach is so close it wasnt a problem... i will def return to this property in the future.

Couldnt have asked for more

The property is gated so feels safe . Very near to large supermarket and shops and restaurants . Right across the road to the beach . The apartment itself is lovely , clean , spacious and has everything you need including wifi and English TV . We will definately use again ,

Great location, immaculate apartment

Loved it here. Me and my partner wanted a nice week away to somewhere not to busy and not to quiet so this was perfect for location. Apartment was well located for the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. 10-15 mins walk into the town of Torremolinos and a short stroll into Carihuela and on towards Benalmadena and the fantastic Marina. Immaculate and well equipped. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you :)

Perfect place

Apartment was lovely and clean, over the road the beach, the owner his wife and sister in- law put banners up for my husbands 60th, they couldn't do enough, water in the fridge, TV was excellent, booked it again for next year, thanks again graham. Lesley from stockport😆😆

This apartment was clean and tidy

This apartment had the added bonus of supplying towels and chairs to take on the beach. Fantastic location you only need to cross the road to the wonderful beach. As it is in a gated apartment block you feel quite secure. I will be returning here in the future.

Coast/Beach:

'La Carihuela', 'Bajondillo', 'Playamar' and 'Los Alamos' make up the four beach zones of the sea front promenade of Torremolinos. Each beach zone, is famous for its different specialities. The apartment is located in Playamar which is renowned for its sporting and entertainment activities including volleyball and football tournaments and an open air cinema in the summer.

Eating Out & Night Life

In the Playamar area there are numerous restaurants, some of which provide live music as well as delicious food and just a few minutes stroll along the seafront promenade is the Los Alamos area, which is the go-to place for 'Nightlife' .

Travel:

There are flights to Malaga from most main UK airports. The airport is located west of the city of Malaga, approx 5km (about 12 minutes drive) to the apartment. Car hire is not essential, as all amenities are close by and buses/taxis are readily available. The railway station in Torremolinos town centre serves Malaga to the east and Benalmadena, Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola to the west. The train has a specific stop at the airport.

Distances:

Torremolinos town centre 10mins walk or a short bus ride and Malaga 12kms for that big shopping trip! The Costa Del Sol offers much to see and do, from water-parks including Aquapark in Torremolinos bowling and Tivoli World Theme Park to local 'fiestas' and places of historical interest such as Granada 130km and Sevilla 220km. There are many other local resorts such as Benalmadena 4km, Fuengirola 18km, Mijas 24km, Marbella 50km, Puerto Banus 52km, Estepona 80km and Tarifa 120km.

Further Details:

Torremolinos is a very friendly town which likes to take care of its tourism as this is the main source of its economy. On the first Thursday of June, they celebrate 'Dia del Pescaito' where everyone can enjoy in food and drink, free of charge. On 16th of July, 'Virgen del Carmen', is celebrated which is a week full of parties on 'La Carihuela' Beach.

The first Thursday of September sees, 'Dia del Turista' which is celebrated to give thanks to the tourists who have visited the town of Torremolinos. Once again food and drink is free.

On the 29th of September, 'Fiesta de San Miguel' is celebrated in the centre of Torremolinos. 'La Romeria de San Miguel' is a unique and typical party in the countryside surrounded by Pine Trees.

The above prices are based on 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 12) staying at the apartment. For 3 or 4 adults/children over 12 a 25% supplement will be payable.

Payment Terms:
We ask for 25% of the rental price by way of deposit, followed by the balance 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. We do not ask for a 'security deposit', as our guests have always looked after our apartment very well.
