Wonderful Large Family Villa With Pools And Mountain Views

Villa Palmito is situated approximately 7km from the village of Mogan and 5km from the picturesque Puerto de Mogan, known locally as Little Venice due to the pretty rows of two-storey houses intersected with flower-filled walkways, bridges and waterways. The enchanting fishing village and harbour of Puerto Mogan is a working port supplying locally caught seafood to numerous local restaurants, who are able to offer seafood dishes of unrivalled freshness. Golfers will have easy access to the picturesque Par 3 and 18 hole courses at Anfi Tauro (approx 15 minutes by car) and El Salobre, a Championship standard course some 20 minutes away by car. Puerto Mogan and Mogan village have three good sized supermarkets and there is a regular bus service with a bus stop near the villa. Other local attractions include the Yellow Submarine, for a glimpse of Mogan's underwater life, Palmitos Park & Aquapark waterpark, a little further along the coast at Playa de Ingles.

VILLA PALMITO Mogan

VILLA PALMITO an idea property for extended family. 5 good sized bedroom and 4 bathrooms. The villa was well equipped although slightly dated. Everything you could possibly need was provided. With 2 infants in the party having the main rooms on one level was a dream…Joe provided high chairs and travel cots. The pool/patio area was amazing. Plenty of space for the kids to run around plus the two pools, plenty of sun loungers and chairs….What more could you ask for? The massive BBQ area was an added bonus. The villa is surrounded by mountains and the area is beautiful. Watching the sun rise and set was breathtaking. Be warned the driveway up to the villa is a bit nerve racking. Make sure you practise your hill starts!!

Large family house with mountain views

Large family house with great outside space, lovely pool, great to relax and enjoy the view. Well equipped but requires updating and some TLC. Good WiFi which is accessible indoors and outside dining area. Bedrooms are good sized but basic with plenty of storage space. Bathroom and ensuite shower rooms are okay but dated. Driveway is steep but has a good parking area and remote control gate. A 10 walk up the road is a tapas bar and bakery/cafe which are very good. Mogan is a 8 minute drive, a recommendation for a traditional restaurant is Canaria del Oro, you will not be disappointed. Shops, bars, supermarkets and restaurant's are plentiful in the port. We had a lovely stay and would return but the house does need a revamp

Wonderful villa with breathtaking views

We stayed in the villa for two weeks in February and had a lovely time. The villa is situated in the Mogan valley, between the Mogan Port and Mogan village. The position is breathtaking with steep mountain ranges in front and back of the villa. A great pool and BBQ area to spend day and evening time. 500m up the road you have a local bakery that also serves a proper coffee. It’s a very nice morning walk. We drove around in the southern part of the island and felt “Puerto de Mogan” was the best seaside town. Lovely atmosphere, great number of excellent restaurants and a good beach. Shortish drive to several good golf courses. Can also recommend an evening stargazing with a local company, they will drive you up the Mogan Valley and you get the opportunity to closely watch stars/the moon. We had a fantastic holiday and hope to be back one day!
