Large 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom Villa with Private Pool

Villa Tallakim is a large 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa located just a short walk from the shops, restaurants and beaches of Moraira on the Spanish Costa Blanca and is offered by Holidays and Homes.

The villa has 15 bed spaces in 7 bedrooms and can sleep up to four additional children in Z beds and sofa beds (extra charge). There is also a cot and high chair available. The villa has a gated entrance, private swimming pool and air-conditioning in all bedrooms.

The front door leads into the hallway of the upper level of the villa and into the large lounge which has been furnished with leather sofas and chair. The dining area provides space for 8 people to eat in comfort. There is satellite TV with UK channels, a DVD player and music system and free internet Wi-Fi. From the lounge you can step outside onto the large naya, which has a small sea view and is furnished with table and chairs making this area ideal for al-fresco dining.

The hallway leads to a fully fitted kitchen, well equipped with an oven and hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washing machine and a microwave oven. There are 3 double bedrooms and a family room with a double bed, a single bed and a Z bed. One of the double bedrooms on this floor is the master bedroom which has a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. This room is air-conditioned and also has a luxury en suite bathroom with a corner bath/jacuzzi, spa shower, wc, and twin vanity units. You will also find a family shower room on this level. The upper level of the villa benefits from central heating (extra charge).

At the end of the hallway there is a door which leads to the stairs going down to the lower level of the villa. This level has 3 bedrooms and two shower rooms. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite shower room; the third bedroom has two single beds. Here you will find another large lounge with leather sofas and comfortable chairs, TV, DVD player and music system. There is a double and a single sofa bed suitable for children in this lounge. The dining area has a table and six chairs and at the end of this room there is a well equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A door leads out to the pool terrace and gardens.

Outdoors you will find large secure private grounds with off road parking and well-tended gardens with palm trees, citrus trees and flowering shrubs. There is a terrace with a shaded area overlooking the pool with sun-loungers, table and chairs and a barbecue.

Please note that above 15 persons additional children using the Z beds and sofa beds are charged at £30 per week per person. Please advise when booking if you will be using these additional sleeping facilities.

During some periods it may be possible to rent the ground floor only for up to 6 adults and 3 children or the first floor only for up to 9 people plus 1 child. In these cases the other floor would be locked and unoccupied.

Moraira is a small and pretty resort half way between Alicante and Valencia. The quaint old Spanish fishing village is only fifteen minutes walk from the villa. A fish market is held daily with Friday being the principal market day where you can buy souvenirs, fresh fruit and vegetables. The village has many shops, bars and restaurants. This area boasts 'the best all year round climate in Europe' according to the World Health Organisation. So with 320 days of sunshine a year you can take advantage of a Spring, Autumn or Winter holiday and relax in the sun all day and enjoy lovely sunsets from the terrace in the evenings.

The Costa Blanca is renowned for being a shoppers paradise offering everything from fashionable clothes, leather goods, perfumes and wines as well as an abundance of fresh fruit, fish and vegetables. Numerous restaurants, some with live entertainment, offer local, national and international cuisine. A trip through the valleys and up into the mountains among the pine forests and the almond and citrus groves provides some spectacular scenery, and there are always places to stop for a drink and a meal. Benidorm is a short drive away and offers excellent shopping and night-life plus the new Terra Mitica Disney style theme park. Coach excursions are available to these and all the other popular attractions.

I have been visiting the Costa Blanca for over 20 years and in that time have acquired properties, and many friends who have asked me to manage their villas and apartments that I promote under the banner of Holidays and Homes. The holiday villas and apartments are in the towns of Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Benitachell and Benidorm. I manage the rental bookings at Villa Tallakim for the owners who lives in Australia and there is a local team who look after the villa and our guests.

Very spacious and comfortable

We were a family of 9 adults & 5 young children, the villa was a lot more spacious than expected. It is in a very quiet residential location but there is a bar/restaurant very close by. There are 2 supermarkets within walking distance, the walk back is via a very steep hill. The town is lovely again about a 20 minute walk via a very steep hill, there are plenty of taxis so we walked down into town & then took a taxi back. There are plenty of bars/restaurants with plenty of choice especially the ones near the harbour. There are 2 beautiful beaches & suitable for young children, I would highly recommend this villa for a large party, it is ideal for any age group too.

In addition to the shops, restaurants, bars and the weekly Friday market Moraira has facilities for many water sports, a gymnasium, children's playground and a diving school. There is also a 9 hole golf course and a little further afield you will find many sandy bays, rocky coves and beautiful countryside with mountains, valleys and citrus and almond groves. There are caves and a safari park within a short drive and the Water Park, Sea World and Terra Mitica theme parks are just 30 minutes drive.

Weekly prices shown are for up to 15 people. Additional children only can be accommodated using a sofa bed/Z bed are charged at £30 per week each. A cot can be provided free of charge if required. Gas central heating (upper floor) is charged extra at £75 per week.

Note: The usage of electricity for heating and air-conditioning varies depending on the weather and each family's requirements. Instead of charging extra for all the electricity we believe it is fairer, to both the holidaymaker and the owner, to include an electricity allowance in the rental price and to charge for any usage over this. Electricity usage can be checked on the meters at the house.

The weekly rental prices include an allowance for electricity of 40Kwh per day. Any usage above this is charged at £0.20 per Kwh. A refundable deposit of £75 per week is required to be paid directly to the owner two weeks before the rental start date to be used towards any additional electricity costs.The balance will be refunded.

For all bookings at a reduced monthly rate all utilities are charged extra.
