House in Mojstrana, Nr. Kranjska Gora, Slovenia - Perfect for Summer or Winter Holidays with Countless Outdoor Activities in all Seasons

Completed in 2006 the house is traditional in style. It is spacious with a large lounge, dining room and kitchen breakfast room. It also has 2 bathrooms, a laundry and WiFi. The bedrooms all have stunning views and have access to balconies. A cot is available for use. The village of Mojstrana has 2 restaurants, a bakery, 2 bars and a supermarket within short walking distance. There is also a tourist office and post office. The more substantial towns of Bled (with the famous lake, church & castle) and Kranjska Gora are 15 mins drive and Ljubljana 45 mins drive. Transfer time from Ljubljana Airport is 40 mins by car. Car hire is essential. The Green House is 10 mins from the Austrian border and 25 mins from the Italian border by car which makes for great summer and winter exploring. In the cellar are mountain bikes and a table tennis table for guests use. Outdoor activities are in ample supply in all seasons and include lake swimming, rafting, fly fishing, climbing, mountain biking etc.

Walking, lake swimming, hiking, trekking, bird watching, fly fishing, mountain biking, white water rafting, para gliding, kayaking - any outdoor activity you can think of can be done in the surrounding mountains and valleys!

Coast/Beach:

Piran is 2 hours by car. Croatian coast is 2:30 by car.

Travel:

Ljubljana airport is a 30 minute drive (and the city centre an additional 15 mins), Klagenfurt is a 40 minute drive, Trieste is a 2 hour drive and all are serviced by low cost airlines. Car hire is essential.

Distances:

Mojstrana village is 2 minutes walk. Lake Bled is a 20 minute drive, Kranjska Gora a 15 minute drive, Ljubljana is a 45 minute drive. The small local tourist office & post office is about 50m from the house.

Further Details:

There are 2 restaurants and 2 bars in the village within a 5 minute walk, as well as a supermarket & cash point. One bar has a large garden with swings, table tennis & trampoline. 2 other restaurants are a 10 minute walk - one is a pizzeria and the other has a great informal local menu.
