Following a careful restoration of two old townhouses, these buildings have been skillfully converted into luxury apartments, studio’s and two penthouses. Each apartment has been architecturally designed internally, using typical Portuguese materials but with modern conveniences, providing the highest levels of comfort throughout the year. There is a beautiful walled garden where you can enjoy privacy amongst the mature fruit trees and flowers all year round. The garden has a swimming pool with a full range of garden furniture. The apartments are decorated and furnished to a high standard. The apartments also benefits from full electric heating for use in winter. The centre of Lagos as well as the boulevard and beach are approximately 5 to 10 minutes walk from the apartments. Nearby golf courses, sea and fine restaurants. The apartments of Royal Apartments are owned by one family and also available for long term rental in the off-season period. All units are fully equipped.

There are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has 2 beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 beds and a bathroom with bath and toilet.

Features of the Penthouse are: coffee machine, dishwasher, electrical heaters, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, vacuum cleaner, mixer, hairdryer, toaster, washing machine.

For (little) children or a baby there is a high child chair and child’s bed available.

Towels and linen are included. They are changed once a week.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed in the Omlandia apartment for one week and really enjoyed our stay. It is spacious with good facilities and is very good condition. The balcony on Omlandia gets sun in the evening and both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The garden/pool area is beautiful and beaches are also close by (5/10 min walk).

The location is great, in the heart of the old town of Lagos but also one block back from the main street so it isn't noisy at all.

We would definitely stay here again if coming back to Lagos on holiday.

Penthouse in toller Lage und großartigem Ausblick

Die Ausstattung läßt viele Wünsche offen:

- Küche veraltet

- Spülmaschine Austausch fällig

- Waschmaschine Austausch fällig

- Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig

- einige Gegenstände werten das Objekt leider ab (verrostet, nicht funktionsfähig, ...) - lieber entsorgen!!!

- Sitzauflagen auf der Terrasse Austausch fällig

- etwas zeitgemäße Möbel und Sauberkeit würden dem Objekt sehr gut tun

- leider KEINE Klimaanlage

In diesem Zustand ist der Preis für dieses Objekt nicht gerechtfertigt - leider, denn ..., es ist ein tolles Apartment in dem man sich wohl fühlen kann.

Es ist angenehmer nicht NUR für die Lage zum zahlen.

Nicht desto trotz ..., es ist nicht nur schlechtes zu berichten.

- ein privater Parkplatz ist für diese Lage ein Luxus

- tolle Gartenanlage mit Pool (der sich sogar zum Schwimmen eignet) wird täglich gepflegt

- die Lage ist fantastisch, der Blick großartig - einfach zum geniessen

- Mrs. Aling ist sehr angenehm und hilfsbereit

- unkomplizierte und kompetente Email-Korrespondenz

a notre toutefois pour en tenir compte l'incapacité de pour voir se garer pret en cette saison et quelques difficultés qui demontrent un entretien moyen de la location et de la residence (lave vaisselle HS, douche et evier bouché, satellite HS et propreté generale appartement et piscine moyennes)

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage!

Das Penthouse ist eine sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit einer tollen Dachterrasse, auf der man einen herrlichen Blick über Lagos und aufs Meer hat. Innerhalb von 5 Fußminuten ist man in der Altstadt mit Kneipen und Restaurants, ca. 10 Fußminuten zu der kleinen Fußgängerfähre, die direkt zu dem auf der anderen Seite der Flußmündung gelegenen kilometerlangen Sandstrand fährt.

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und serviceorinientiert.

Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten und sie gerne weiterempfehlen.

We inherited the apartments in 2002 from our Dad. He used to stay a few months per year in Lagos and loved the place very much. Lagos still has the authentic Portuguese atmosphere.

Nearest Airport : Faro Airport at 90 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : In the town centre of Lagos at 500 Metres Nearest Golf : Boavista and Palmares at 5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Lagos train station at 5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : N125 at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : In the town centre of Lagos at 500 Metres Nearest Beach : Batata beach at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

There are plenty of water sports activities in Lagos. At the Marina or at the beach. eg surfing, water skiing, water cycling, whale watching, (small) boat trips, big game fishing.

Walking - hiking, boattrip to Sagres, grotto boattrip, etc.

Coast/Beach:

There are some nice beaches nearby, the main beach of Lagos is Meia Praia. There are also plenty of nice other beaches like Praia de Dona Ana and Porto de Mos, this beach we like the most ourselves.

Travel:

Faro airport is about 60 minutes travel by car. Since the house is located in the old centre of Lagos it is not necessary to hire a car.

Distances:

The centre of Lagos as well as the boulevard and different beaches are approximately 5 to 10 minutes walk from the town house. In the spring and summer a small ferry can bring you across the marina entrance to the main beach of Lagos.

Further Details:

Small supermarket is just 200 meters form the apartment. Large supermarket is also nearby, a few minutes by car.
