Villa in Benimeit, Moraira, Costa Blanca, Spain - Peaceful Hillside Location

The villa and outside space is on a large flat plot making it ideal for families with young children. The open plan air conditioned (metered) living space is light and airy with a modern fitted kitchen, 37" Plasma TV, internet wi-fi and contemporary furniture. Bedroom 2 has an additional brand new 32" LCD TV with PlayStation 2 games console. The villa has recently been extended with patio doors opening up directly onto the private swimming pool. The two double bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes. The fully enclosed pool area benefits from a spacious paved terrace which is in full sun all day, a shower and two dining areas. There is a large secure private drive for up to four cars. The villa is situated on an elevated position with open aspects to all sides.

Why Roger Graney chose Moraira

My wife and I have been coming to Moraira for the last 25 years and we love it so much we decided to buy a place out here. Moraira is a pretty fishing village with a very pretty marina and fish market, cobbled main square and back streets bursting with shops and restaurants. One of the attractions for us is the fact that Moraira has been designated as a conservation zone of extraordinary beauty so there is a height restriction and density of buildings are strictly controlled.

What makes this villa unique

As my wife is a teacher we are fortunate enough to spend quite a lot of time at the villa, so we have made it as comfortable and cosy as possible. We have stayed at many rental properties over the years and became tired of 'traditional' Spanish furniture :-) Our villa is modern with all the comforts you would expect to find in your own home. The villa is very peaceful with a lovely spacious outlook down the valley. It has full sun all day so you can spend a full lazy day by the pool. Wonderful.

Notes on accommodation: We have a no smoking policy in the villa. Outside: The villa is set in its own secure walled garden. The 8m x 4m private pool with easy access roman steps is gently sloping and is cleaned twice weekly in peak season and weekly off peak. Several cars may be parked within the grounds behind secure gates. There is also an outdoor shower. In addition there are new sun loungers with cushions and lounger towels and the outside furniture includes a hardwood dining table and chairs. The outside space is well lit at night for evening dining. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the rental. Extra linen is available on request (at a charge) and the villa is cleaned and linen changed on change over. Other: Pool house storage area houses large additional fridge freezer. Iron/ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

Lovely modern decorated villa with a great pool. Great for our party of 3.

The property is in the hills and has some lovely views on the way up and down (car is essential to get into Moraira). Great facilities including a really good size pool with various loungers and table that can be used to dine outside. We loved this villa as it was clean and modern with lots of things inside included to help your holiday be even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend. Great communication from the owners too.

This "Little Paradise" is not to be missed. Already pencilled in for when bookings open next year.

For those that don't know the area of Moraira it is quite a hilly place. A car is a must unless you choose a villa near to the town front. Choose a villa like this one up near the top of the "small mountain" and although getting there is a bit of an excursion you'll be rewarded with the most beautiful scenery and a very slight light breeze which you need if it decides to go into melt mode. This villa is located almost at the top and although not having a view down to the coast which is very nice, it has a very private location. You enter the property through secure gates onto a stoned drive. Pass through the locking door in a white washed high wall and you are greeted by a very large patio and sizable pool. The villa is round and looks quaint. Open the wide double doors and you enter a deceptively large fully equipped homely villa. If you are a family of four this is ideal, if you are a couple looking for a perfect romantic getaway then this is the one. There are numerous soft lighting options inside and outside to set the perfect scene for a romantic meal. We stayed for a week and only ventured out on two evenings for a meal because we'd forgotten to stock up on groceries. This truly is a little piece of Heaven. A big Thank you to the owners for sharing this with us.

5 minutes drive to Moraira village and beaches or 30-40 minute walk. 5 minutes drive to various supermarkets and shops. There are also larger resorts nearby that are easily reached by car that are well worth visiting: Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea are all within 15km, while Benidorm is about 30km away. 1 hour drive from Alicante airport and approx 1.5hrs from Valencia.

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca, and lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe, the surrounding area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore. Moraira is still a thriving fishing village with daily markets, quaint shops and numerous restaurants and bars. Moraira is a welcome antedote to the frenzy of Benidorm, however, water parks and other theme parks are within a 30 minute drive.
