The Dunes penthouse is right next to the sandy beach in Carib Playa. It has a spacious living /dining room ,four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen has granite worktops,integrated appliances and 2 large fridge /freezers plus utility area , There are 3 outside terraces. The main dining terrace is just off the very spacious lounge. This overlooks trees to the sea, is shaded and great for al fresco eating. There are 8 chairs and large table here for that purpose and a swing seat to relax. The other 2 terraces are on rooftop level with great views of the sea and hills. One faces south east and the other south west, with Dedon Daydream double lounger bed , Kettal sofa and armchairs, so sun bathing is assured all day and evening. Two of these terraces are totally private and not overlooked, a rarity on the Costa del Sol. Fabulous tropical gardens surround the elegant, gated and secure apartment block with a large swimming pool, changing rooms, showers, w/cs etc. Lifeguard in high season. There is also a children's pool and poolside showering facilities. Underground car parking, lift and aircon and 4G fast wi fi internet. Internet TV with all channels and films.A stroll to the beach 5 minutes walk away and boardwalk through the sand dunes to Cabopino Port close by.

About Les and Maureen Morton

We have been running holiday properties for 8 years and specialise in providing a fantastic property with stunning views.

We know people like to enjoy the outdoors on holiday so we always provide well equipped gardens/terraces.

Our house will be a real home from home with comfortable sofas and beds, large dining tables and TV, DVDs, books and games for everyone.

The kitchen will have all modern conveniences including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and large fridge/freezer. There will be a bath as well as showers and we provide a cot and high chair at no extra charge.

We stay in our house for part of the year to make sure everything is in good order and we have a local manager. As we have no borrowings on the house, you can trust us to provide you with an excellent holiday experience.

We looked for a long time for a property on the beach in this quiet area near Marbella with the best beaches in the Costa del Sol. The apartment is superbly located next to the sand dunes of the national park with sea views.It is peaceful even in high season. It is only 30 minutes from Malaga airport and is an oasis of tranquility in the concrete of the Costa del Sol. It is also within walking distance on the beach, bars, restaurants and shops which is important to us as we do not like to drive a lot on holiday!

What makes this apartment unique

The property has a state of the art interior with marble floors, granite worktops and high quality fixtures and fittings.

The terrace furniture is the best you can buy from Kettal and Dedon. It is very unusual to find a day bed and sofas of this quality in a rental.

Super fast WIFI and internet Tv with all channels

Boardwalk into Cabopino Port makes it easy for using a pushchair and a very scenic stroll. Andy's beach near Cabopino has water sports, sunbeds and restaurants

There is a gas BBQ for ease of catering and a fully equipped kitchen as we like to cook. There are 2 fridge freezers to make catering easy .

We provide lots of games, books and DVDs as we like to relax this way on holiday. It is unusual in having 3 terraces and 2 of them have stunning views of the trees of the national park and the sea.

There is a children's pool as well as a large pool with life guard in high season. There are toilets by the pool area and shade from umbrellas and trees. The property is next to a sandy beach which is easy to reach with a pushchair, as there are no steep gradients and the road is tarmac. We provide children's DVDs and games. There is a playground next to the complex. Outside: This is a property where you can enjoy the sun! You are a stroll from a sandy beach, with bars and restaurants nearby. The penthouse has three terraces with gas BBQ, outdoor seating and dining areas and private daybed. Utility Room: Marble worktops and washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels, hand towels and tea towels with all bed linen included. Optional service for weekly change of linens by our management team at your cost. .

Fabulous! Beautiful apartment in a great location.

The apartment was stunning with three roof terraces so you always had the sun or the shade, whichever you prefer. Plenty of space for us all, very well equipped and we loved barbecuing up on one of the terraces! The pool in the complex was fantastic with space to swim lengths and general enjoy the beautiful garden surroundings. The beach was a short stroll away and is a lovely stretch of sandy beach for all ages to enjoy. Great restaurants walking distance from the apartment. Overall we couldn't recommend this enough and can't wait to be back!

Perfect location for a family holiday

The penthouse was as described. It had a welcoming feel, was spacious, very well equipped and in good order. The layout was just right for our needs and we loved having the upper floor and three terraces, so that we could be together as a family but also get privacy when needed. The pool area is set in lovely gardens and had separate children's pool ...all just a short walk away. The beaches are lovely and easily reached, with friendly local beach restaurants. No need to go any further, although there is much of interest nearby. I would certainly recommend this penthouse for any family holiday and would go back.

The owners were very efficient and pleasant to deal with.

Holiday Apartment

We were really pleased with the apartment, it was modern, very clean, well equipt. The location was good, within walking distance of the beach, local bars & restaurants.

Three generations stayed at the apartments, and all thought the apartment was lovely and well situated.

Unfortunately, the weather in May was not suitable for use of the swimming pool, (too cool this year) however, the pool was very clean and looked very inviting.

We would definitely consider staying again.

Lovely Apartment

We were really pleased with the apartment as it was comfortable, clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. The pool was large and child friendly (with life guard) and the grounds were beautiful. Being able to walk to the beach and local bars and restaurants was a real plus. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to our friends. Having access to WiFi was also a bonus as we had four teenagers in our party!

Beautiful sandy beaches on this stretch of coastline which is unusual for most of the Costa del Sol. A 5 minute stroll through the dunes takes you onto the beach at Carib Playa. Note that a section of this beach is so clean it attracts Naturists. Here the sand is real sand, totally unlike the grit/stones you find along so much of this coast.

Cabopino Port is a short walk where there is an organised beach area with beach side bars, sun loungers and water sports. there is also a Marina with beautiful yachts and many bars and restaurants


Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar. Hire cars are cheap in Spain and readily available at all airports. We provide numbers for taxi/mini buses to pick you up from the airport and you do not need a car for this property.

10 minutes drive to Marbella.

The area surrounding the penthouse is residential. It is literally the last property before the protected sand dunes, which are now an official Andalucian National park.

There are 5 restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the penthouse. A 15 minute walk through the National Park brings you to the beautiful port of Cabopino. Here you will find beach bars, water sport activities, restaurants serving food from many different parts of the world, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Spanish

The port is a joy to stroll around, as it is full of large beautiful motorboats and the occasional yacht. On the wide sandy beaches in the main season there are lifeguards to watch the activities. Sunbed and umbrella hire is available. At Andy's beach, you can persue most watersports, sailing, windsurfing, parascending, kite surfing, paddle boats, dolphin watching and skin diving. Plenty to do for all the family.

All in all this luxurious penthouse is superbly located to give you a relaxing, yet active holiday for all members of the family.

Most recent reviews say, "We have done quite a few owners direct holidays and we found this was the best so far. The appartment is very spacious and clean. The beaches are near to the appartment, even thought I felt a trifle over dressed on one of them! The resturants in the area were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely holiday and one day we may even return for second helpings."

"We have just returned from a week at the penthouse apartment and we were very happy indeed with the apartment. It really was a home from home. Everything we needed was there, the daybed was my particular favourite for a few minutes peace and quiet! The children loved the pool area (as did my daugher and son-in-law) and quickly made friends with some of the children who live there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
