Relax at the Oasis! Luxury 2 bedroom poolside apartment, overlooking the complex, with premium views against the backdrop of the Monchique mountains. The complex has 3 pools, one of which is indoor, jacuzzi, changing rooms, ample free sunloungers, tennis courts, and bar/restaurant which you have full access to. Local bars, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. A 5-10 minute drive will take your choice of the famous beaches of Alvor, Praia da Rocha and Praia da Vau. Family Fun begins at ZooMarine, Slide and Splash and AquaLand and there are a variety of cycling, canoeing and sailing tours designed for families and the more adventurous. There are numerous Championship golf courses just a short drive away, including Penina (home of Portuguese Open), Palmares, Alto Golf and Boa Vista Championship Golf Club. Close to the harbour town of Portimão and quaint fishing village of Alvor, Oasis Parque ideally suited to holidaymakers looking for something that little bit special.

Why Liam Whelan chose Portimao region

We went to Portugal on a package holiday in July 2006

and we immediately struck with the differences between our package accomodation and that at Oasis Parque. Having left a very busy complex where you had to fight for a sun lounger and then pay for the privilege, we were immediately struck that the opposite was true here. We were impressed by the amount of space and the relaxed atmosphere around the pool. Then there was the cleanliness. From the pools, to the changing rooms and toilets, the standard was, and continues to be, impeccable. The leisure club/pool area is gated, and accessed by members with personal swipe cards, and you feel you, your children and your belongings are secure. So before we even went to look at the apartment for sale, we had fallen in love with Oasis Parque.

What makes this apartment unique

Location is key. We are just 45 mins from the airport, just a few minutes off the motorway, a nice easy drive down. We are just five minute drive from Alvor and equally from Portimao and the fabulous beaches and restaurants each have to offer. Being close to the motorway means you can be at a host of attractions in less than 15 minutes, be it numerous golf courses, the F1 Autodrome, Water parks, Shopping malls or whatever it is that you do on holidays.

Notes on accommodation: The air conditioning units are designed to heat or cool the rooms as required. There is a growing collection of books and board games in the apartment. Internet Access is available via WiFi at the apartment (unlimited download). If you require a PC, you can use one at the main reception (charges apply), and free WiFi is available at the poolside cafe. Public Pay-phones are available Outside: Guests will be given security cards to access the Oasis Parque leisure complex. Here there is a large indoor pool and Jacuzzi and changing rooms. Outside there is another large pool and a small pool for toddlers, 2 tennis courts and a children's playground. There are always ample sun loungers available, even during peak season. The poolside cafe bar provides good value and quality snacks during the day, and traditional and home fare food at night. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom towels and linen are included in the price, and changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels. Additional maid services can be arranged if required. Other: Front balcony overlooking the pool has glass table with sun parasol and 4 chairs for outdoor dining. Rear Balcony is fitted with small table & 2 chairs and enjoys view of Portimao and the city lights after dark.

Very nice property in a very nice place

A nice apartment set on a lovely complex. Good facilities and everything was in good condition.

We have been to oasis parque a few times and it is very peaceful and pleasant and has lovely facilities, and it is handy for both the shops and the beaches and lovely places nearby like Alvor. We look forward to returning some time.

good size, clean, good location

It provided all we wanted, was very convenient to visit pool area and excellent Emma's cafe. Also only 7mins walk on quiet road to supermarkets.

All conveniences we needed were provided in the apartment, the decor and furnishings were in keeping with a modern theme, and the balcony overlooking the pool was a good size.

Although only 2 of us both bedrooms were doubles , one with en- suite bathroom and another shower room adjoining the other bedroom.

Very good all round.

The property and surrounding Oasis ~Parque are in excellent condition.

My wife and I have stayed at Oasis Parque four times in the last ten years, always out of season as a winter break. The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained and the surrounding grounds were beautifully kept. The highlight of going out of season was the indoor swimming pool, which we had almost to ourselves for at least an hour every morning. The on-site cafe/restaurant is run by English folk and they served a very satisfying english breakfast.

The temperature in February was similar to early Spring in UK, very pleasant although we did have showers on three days. The village of Alver is only a five minute drive away and the restaurants there serve a whole range of freshly caught fish at very reasonable prices and is well worth a visit and the surrounding beaches are fabulous.

Great location for a family holiday

The apartment is a very good location. It over looks the pool and main Oasis Parque complex. The 2 balconies are useful to sit or eat outside with one on either side of the apartment. As it is situated on the 2nd floor there is no noise form the apartments below. Having 2 fully functional bathrooms was a blessing, especially with 2 teenage boys.

The apartment has everything you need and was clean and tidy on arrival. It is only a 60 second walk to the pool and bar / cafe complex.

Further a field it is only a 10 minute taxi ride into either Alvor or Portimoa. Both are worth a visit especially in the evening. Great for eating out at whatever the price you want to pay. Top fish restaurants, Grills or something less expensive are all available.

We had fantastic weather during our stay. Sunny everyday with a breeze in the afternoons. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

I recommend the Oasis Parque complex and in particular this apartment to any couple or family looking for a relaxing holiday.
