About Caroline Beadle

My name is Caroline and I am married to Nick and we have a six year old and a 25 year old. I am a stay at home mum and enjoy renting our home out to people.

I get real pleasure from renting our home out as we tend to get such wonderful feedback from guests and we have now been doing this for a while so we are getting a lot of returning visitors.

Caroline Beadle purchased this house in 2007

Why Caroline Beadle chose Cotswold district

We went on holiday with a group of families. One of my firends booked it and I didn't pay much attention - I hadn't been to the cotswolds before and was looking forward to seeing it.

My friend had booked us into the Lower Mill Estate, & my husband and I ended up staying in Cuckoos Nest with another couple.

The minute we arrived we loved the house and the location. The idea my daughter could run around, play and hear only the birds was amazing. We just couldn't believe our luck to be in such a wonderful place - when you pass people on the path they said hello and everything was perfect.

The minute we found out the house was on the market we spent the rest of the holiday in the sales office arrangi to buy the house - it ended up being a very expensive holiday!

What makes this house unique

This is our home that we enjoy sharing with other people. We have put everything we need and enjoy in the house so it feels like home every time we arrive. We have indulged in a bit of luxury with bedding and finishing touches which makes it feel like we are being spoilt every time we arrive.

We often go down for long weekends so my husband has installed broadband so he can work from home and enjoy some weekday time in the house with us.

He also travels into London and with Kemble station 10 minutes away which takes you into Paddington in 1hour 20 minutes it is easy.

Lakeside Holiday Home With Spa Access, Ideal For A Relaxing Break
average rating of 4.6666665 based on 3 reviews

High class home with excellent facilities and equipment situated in a safe and secure gated complex.

  • 4 of 5

Four couples stayed in this house which had high levels of comfort and equipment both in the kitchen and entertainment areas. The environment was second to none being very safe and exclusive and the views of the lakes were stunning. We enjoyed catering for ourselves and also exploring the local area both for walks and for eating out. I think the only downside was that the twin rooms were a little small for couples for the shared price we paid. The lakeview twin room had very little floor space and was probably more suited to having bunk beds installed. However for a short stay this wasn't really a problem. We would certainly use this home again in the future.

Have been to cuckoos nest for the second year running and love it! The house is beautiful, immaculate and we need for nothing! The hosts continue to be thoughtful in terms of preparing for our stay and the service has been excellent. This is why we book regularly for our yearly reunion and will be booking again next year. Thanks very much Caroline and Nick, fantastic stay again!

Amazing house, perfect for all put needs, very comfortable and cosy. Have been before to lower mill estate and was as good as the last time, shame about the outside pool being closed!
